Snake Charmer (Choco)

(( Finally got your post for you! XD))

It wasn't just a date right? After all it was supposed to be an outing to discuss a joint gig or something like that, she thought, because Ra and Viz seemed less than eager to allow the rival band member to remain in their home for too long. Not that they really told him to leave but their overprotective, in Viz's case, and jealous, in Ra's case, behavior clearly stated it for them.

But besides that even though he had technically asked her out on a date it just couldn't be that. Strictly business. She nodded her head a little to try and convince herself of that but the word date just kept ringing in her head, causing her cheeks to get their normal red color to them. Quickly she shook the thought from her head and made sure everything was in order.

Hair. Not a mess. Check.

Clothes. Check of course. Though..she wasn't entirely sure if her normal attire was what she was supposed to wear or not. It wasn't like she had really done something like this before. Meeting with a rival band member to discuss a joint gig or practice or whatever it was again, that is. Where were they even going again? In her nervousness and the situations from earlier, she had completely forgotten.

Shika let out a puff of air and tried to calm herself down. If she didn't she'd surely stammer a lot among other of her nervous habits. A conversation wouldn't get anywhere with that.

After double checking things she left her room, although she was a bit nervous that someone would stop her and ask where she was going. If it was Ra or Viz asking it would surely end in disaster because it wasn't like she could lie to them. Even if she tried! It was just impossible. She glanced around cautiously, hoping she wouldn't run into either of them as she drew closer to the front door.

Upon getting to the front door she put her hand on the handle and quickly glanced around one more time before going out, quietly shutting the door behind her. Cory was supposed to pick her up around that time if she remembered right. If not..she'd look pretty stupid just standing outside, not doing anything. Just the thought of having the time or something wrong made her whine a little. It made her chances of being stopped by the Mind Haze band members even greater. 'If...he doesn't get here soon I'll just take a walk or something. That way nothing happens. Yea! That works!'

Cory wasn’t the type to mislead a girl. He didn’t lead them on, he didn’t make them think he wanted a committed relationship when it was just a one night stand, and he didn’t trick them into going on dates with him.

Because of that somewhat twisted sense of decency, Cory was a little worried about seeing Shika that afternoon. While he was fairly certain she’d understood he was asking her out, there was a niggling doubt that said she may have thought this was just some sort of business meeting.

He’d been turned down more than once, ok sure, not all that often, he was Cory after all, but still, it wouldn’t be a horrible, crushing experience to be turned down by a girl he just met. So he’d much prefer to know that she had agreed or at least know she turned him down, rather than being eaten up by wondering if she was just confused.

Well, regardless, he’d just have to go on as normal.

His bike thrummed beneath him as he wound his way through Haviah, hunting for Shika’s street. There was no fancy stage make up or jewellery today, just a plain half blue, half red t-shirt. Even his normally spiked up hair was hanging a little looser today. It was still up like a dandelion flower, but he’d brushed it down a bit.

He whizzed past a street then blinked and turned the bike around. He recognised that lawn gnome. With a grin he tore down the street, slowing down when he got closer to the Mind Haze household before pulling up in front of their house.

And there was Shika, looking frankly gorgeous. Those high socks and garter belt were so damn sexy.

Pulling off his riding goggles and uncoiling himself from his bike, Cory slid over to her, grinning. “Hello hello,” he said brightly, “And how are we this fine day? Ready to go?”

It had only been a couple of minutes or so since she had gotten outside but she was already becoming increasingly nervous. In fact she would glance back at the door to make sure no one was standing there or anything. She couldn't believe she was this nervous over something so simple. She nibbled on her bottom lip some after looking back at the door once more and tapped the front end of her boot against the ground a little.

The sudden noise from a bike caused her to jump a little. Well actually it wasn't really sudden but she hadn't heard it coming closer due to her nervous habit of checking on the door. When she finally reoriented herself and looked up, Cory was already off of his bike and sliding over to her.

"H-Hello." she stammered, unable to keep her voice straight. She knew one of the reasons was because of her nervousness but couldn't think of any other reasons why she couldn't talk right without stammering. "I-I'm good." She paused in an attempt to calm herself down. It worked for the most part. "And..how are you today?"

"Yes. I'm ready. Ah if I may ask..where are we going again?" she asked, smiling nervously. She really needed to pay more attention. Wait had he even told her where they were going before hand? She couldn't remember..She whined inwardly at not being able to remember.

Smiling pleasantly as he approached her, Cory couldn’t help undressing her with his eyes. It was just his nature.

“I’m good,” he replied brightly, amused at how she fell over her words. Reaching her, Cory looked down on her kindly. Pressing a hand to her back he leant down and gave her a peck on the cheek, whispering, “Relax.” With a wink he rose back up and released her.

“I was thinking a movie. Sound alright?” Movies were great first dates. There was a wide range of things, so if he let her pick she couldn’t be disappointed, there wasn’t much room for talk so the awkward silences could be avoided, and most importantly it was dark and the perfect opportunity for him to get cuddles.

Taking her hand lightly the naga turned and started back towards his bike. “Come on, let’s get goin.”

The bike itself was a large chopper, hovering a foot above the ground and humming softly. She wasn’t pretty by anyone’s standards, but she did the trick. “Hop up on the front, we wouldn’t want you falling off. Oh, and best you wear these.” He held out the goggles. Sure, he technically needed them to keep the wind out of his eyes to see, but he could manage, and he simply wouldn’t have her suffering.

Kissing her on the cheek was definately not the best way to get her relax which became fairly obvious from the red color that suddenly rushed to her cheeks. She also stiffened up a bit. "T-T-Trying." Ah and the stammering was worse as well. Once she was released though, she slowly began to calm down once more...very slowly.

Shika blinked before nodding a little at the mention of a move. "Y-Yes." Movies were nice. She wouldn't have to worry about talking too much since she didn't really like her nervous stammering. Also there was less of a chance of her harming herself somehow. Eating utensils could be dangerous for a person like her. The only problem with it was that she was normally so busy, she had no idea what sort of movies were playing. Well..she'd figure out after getting there.

She was taken from her thoughts suddenly when Cory started to lead her back towards his bike. Tilting her head, the color that had slowly started to fade away came back quickly after realizing he was holding her hand. To save herself from having to think of something to say and actually concentrate on saying it without being a stammering mess, she decided it was best not to comment this time.

Too bad it couldn't stay like that. Her blue eyes focused on the goggles that were offered out to her then. "Ah..o..okay." She took them carefully, as if they'd break just by her touching them and put them on. Afterwards she looked at his bike, hesitating before getting on. There was just a pricking in the back of her head that told her it might've been best just to stay inside. It wouldn't have been nice to lie to Cory though because she was too nervous to go out on a date. The word alone kept the blush on her cheeks.

Once she was situated and fairly sure that she wasn't going to just suddenly get off of the bike and make up some quick excuse as to why she couldn't go anymore, she glanced back at Cory. "S..So...how far away is it?"
