But when her "gifts" are activated (through extreme stress or by a deliberate order from Mother), if she is in proximity to a planet's lei lines, she can cause massive tremors that are planet wide- and sometimes even effect the magic in the lines themselves, corrupting the nature of the planet. RelationshipsAddie has a shaky relationship with her biological mother, Ella Montgomery. They are rather cold and distant, really only maintaining any form of "family" because they feel like they have to, not because they have any real affection for each other. HistoryHer biological mother needed money after Addie's father- a drifter who just sort of vanished after Ella got pregnant- so she agreed to undergo some "experimental testing" from Mother in exchange for enough money to scrape by for a few years. After this "testing" process, Mother blanked the woman's memories, but not entirely; she only remembers agreeing to be part of a test study, presumably targeted at pregnant women. Even so, Ella continuously has vague memories- often in the form of dreams- of Mother talking about Addie's "gifts", so she is slightly wary of her own daughter. Even as a young girl, Addie could sense this wariness, and it is the main reason her relationship with her mother is so strained. Physical Description
Jo has long, wavy strawberry blond hair normally tied back in a messy braid under a wide-brimmed hat and blue green eyes frames with thick, pale lashes. She has rounded, almost doll-like features and a slightly upturned button nose. Naturally fair and freckled, her skin is tanned from work outdoors, and her rather slight build belies lean muscle.
Personality
Perhaps a bit ironically, Jo has an almost puppyish personality- playful and happy by nature, if a little scatterbrained and overly energetic. Still, she's a hard and loyal worker, and actually very good at her job.
Magic/Abilities
She has an improved sense of smell and hearing, larger than average canines, and thicker than average nails that are really more like claws if she doesn't constantly file them, all of which are traits granted her by Mother splicing her genes with canine DNA.
Relationships
The Bellworth family- consisting of Jeb and Lila Bellworth and their five children- her employers and owners of the "Lazy B" ranch, as well as the few other ranch hands and the occasional drifter in search of a job.
History
According to Jo's memories, she grew up on the streets of a frontier town. It was a harsh life, but she was eventually lucky enough to find work as a ranch hand at the age of fifteen.
In reality, she was created by mother as a "test tube baby", and purposefully released onto Edanith a month before she found work with the Bellworths.

@Rhi-Rhi @Lion @ARAD V1.0 Hey peoples! Sorry this is taking me so long, but I have a lot of really vague ideas for character that just don't wanna solidify themselves >_> So. I thought I'd throw up some of my basic thoughts and if any idea catches your attentions specifically, let me know and I'll make that character priority! -An Edani cowgirl (who Mother spliced with canine genes, which she is of course unaware of) -A female Pilot candidate -A male Pilot with a really choppy and inconsistent gift of prophecy -A male mordecai (origin unknown at the moment) -A female lightning mage (given the ability to sort of "link up" with any major electronic system by Mother) -Two Aedolin performers, a sibling act with hypnotic capabilities (can be split up or thread together) -A mute alien girl who communicates telepathically through touch, and can drastically alter people's emotions when she uses Mother's "gift"

Physical Description
Well tanned with shaggy, sun bleached blond hair and constantly present scruff, Luke is often described first as "rugged"- followed quickly by "big", thanks to his tall and well muscled build. His eyes are a rather atypically dark brown for an Edani, leading one to believe he probably has a mixed heritage.
Personality
Luke is tough, gruff, and surly, but with a gooey center. He has a highly acute sense of honor and justice, even if it doesn't always exactly mesh with the traditional rules of society, and will do just about anything to uphold what he perceives to be right.
A wanderer by nature, he can be a bit of a playboy- the incredible charming stranger who blows through town, leaving a string of broken hearts behind him. It's a not a description he would necessarily apply to himself, but he wouldn't really deny it either.
Magic/Abilities
His skills lie mainly in surviving the frontier, and he's an accomplished sharpshooter, able to use a just about any kind of gun placed in his hands. He's also pretty handy in a brawl, his size belying a decent amount of agility and speed.
Though already an excellent shot, when Mother's "gifts" are tapped into- which happens under extreme physical or emotional distress, unless she deliberately activates his abilities- Luke's reflexes become inhuman and he can see incredibly long distances, allowing him to make impossible shots.
Relationships
He has a few contacts who occasionally give him jobs or targets.
History
Luke believes he was raised on the Edanith frontier, a happy little family of just him and his parents. When he was thirteen, his mother and father fell sick and he attempted to travel and find a doctor, but by the time he could return to their little cottage with help, his parents had succumbed to illness and he was forced to fend for himself.
These are false memories crafted and implanted in his mind by Mother; in reality, Lucas was kidnapped from his family at the age of five and taken to her traveling lab, molded to be one of the living weapons of her Revolution before she released him back on Edanith at the the age of thirteen.

Mother, the being that intends to conquer all known worlds with the help of her specially crafted "children". Edanith Lucas, a vigilante and sharpshooter living on the Edanith frontier. Joanna, a cowgirl with a particular knack for herding working at the Lazy B ranch. Ava, a single mother and talented medic living in a small frontier town. Lee, a mordecai devoted to keeping the balance on his planet Ella, a young blood mage who's yet to see any real military action. Nina, that Weird Horse Girl (TM); lives and works at the Second Chances horse ranch outside of Tynova. Libra Adelaide, a young earth mage working as a gardener on the space station. Raven, a witchy shopkeeper with ties to the old earth that she'd rather be cut, but can't quite figure out how to do it. Cancer 82641, a bottle-made mermaid currently on the Cancer black market. Thanatos Annabelle, a lightning mage currently living as a subject of TRIM. Aedolis Gem, a vain and perhaps slightly airheaded pop star. Mica, a quiet but charming musician. Nova, a Pilot candidate with a bit of a chip on her shoulder and a penchant for making pens fly across a room. Kaidyn, recently promoted Pilot Echo who tends to be surprisingly jovial for someone of his rank and position. Teinar Pink, a mechanic and moto-racer on the side. Physical Description
The Mother has lightly tanned skin with faint crow's feet around flat brown eyes and graying, mousy brown hair cut into a simple, rather professional bob. She has a perfectly average build and a pretty enough face, but nothing eye catching. All in all, she appears rather unassuming and harmless.
Personality
Despite her nondescript appearance, Mother is essentially evil incarnate. She is much older than she appears, and has spent a large portion of her life perfecting her ability to lull people into a false sense of security and then cutting their legs out from under them.
Sometimes literally.
She is motivated by a bottomless hunger for power, and just about everything she says and does is to serve herself and her ultimate goal, the details of which are rather unclear. But it's not gonna be good for anyone who gets in her way.
Magic/Abilities
An accomplished mage and geneticist, Mother has spent many years honing her abilities to work in tandem, to the point where she can now essentially create lifeforms and mold them to her aesthetics and will with very little material to work with- namely, an infant or even a child still in the womb.
Additionally, Mother shares a psychic connection with each of her children- which she usually employs to contact them in their dreams, but will ultimately use to give them their orders when the time for the Revolution arrives.
Relationships
Her "children", the super soldiers she has created to serve in what she calls the Revolution. Though she feigns affections for them in the telepathic dreams they share, they are sentient tools to her and nothing more.
History
A closely guarded secret, the details of which only Mother herself knows.

I actually have a kinda vague idea I think I wanna plot out, but I'm not quite sure how it will sync in this particular forum, so I'm hoping someone who knows better will see this and let me know if it's not a good idea:
I kinda wanna make a villain. Like, a real big baddy. Said villain would have spent a good part of her (pretty sure "her") life creating a secret army among the unsuspecting ranks of other countries. Like, so secret her super-soldiers don't even know what they are- she magically and scientifically engineered them as children to believe they belong exactly where they are; Pilots, cowboys and girls, psychics, mages, Mordecais, the whole sha-bang.
My idea is that all my characters will eventually be interconnected somehow, even by this tiny thread of all being created by Villain Lady (which, if you know me from SotE, is definitely a new thing for me).
Anyway, hopefully I'll keep updating this as I get more ideas and create new characters, but does anyone think they might be interested in threading with Villain or one (or more!) of her creations?
