Title: That awkward moment when... [open]
Post by: Roxy on June 08, 2013, 04:32:44 pm
Bars were typically easy for a pull.  Depending on the popularity, they’d provide a vast, coagulated crowd, some lonely, others horny; a good amount prime for a pickin’.  At the same time, it wasn't like she was exactly dying for money either, having made decent wage a couple nights ago.  So if she couldn't land anyone tonight, she at least could ride a buzz and get acquainted with new company courtesy of a few appletinis.

Lounging a little over the counter, Polly swept an eye over the place from time to time; trying to gauge who’d be more open to business than not.  Generally the loners seemed and were more receptive than a person or a couple in a group (or the whole group), though she’d approach either if they seemed especially attractive.

A seat away from her, she noticed someone approach, and while she wasn't too sure how long they’d been here; she was positive she hadn't seen them up until now.  Huh.  If they were a newcomer (or not), there was certainly nothing wrong with a nice gesture.

She turned, her attire not leaving much to the imagination.  With one elbow on the counter, she broached the stranger with a leisurely smile, “Excuse me, sugar.  May I buy you a drink?”

Kai usually wasn't this bold about his desires, but damn it it had been a long time since he had any action of any kind. That and he was stoned, naturally. Weed made him just extra horny. So here his was just causally walking up to a hooker, his tail twitching nervously behind him. Truth be told he hadn't ever done this before.

He looked at her, taking in her outfit that left her practically naked and gulped. His mind stopped working for a brief second and his mouth fell open. Hot damn, she was sexy. Pulling him self together he tried to come up with a reply.

"Uh...sure." he replied and sat on the bar stool next to her.

The corners of Polly’s smile grew broader.  Short, but ridiculously cute!  Not that she was or could afford to be in the business of being picky – even if this kid happened to be an overweight, elderly, three-eyed and five-limbed beauty from the murkiest corners of Teinar, she still wouldn’t refuse him her time.  His happening to be good-looking was just a very bigmclargehuge plus.

She couldn’t recognize that he was flying high as a kite that very moment, or it could’ve been that she didn’t care to, considering that she was a little inebriated herself.  He looked a little young, but considering where Polly hailed from, it wasn’t considered too young.

“So tell me your poison, kitty~” She punctuated this with a lean forward, her finger tracing up the side of his cat ear, ending with a flick at its’ tip.  She withdrew a little after that, not wanting to come on too physically strong, and having to retrieve a few bills from – where else?  Her bra.  Classic.  “Been a slow night back at base?”

Okay, the ear touching was definitely a new thing. Scratched behind the ears was heavan, but this was different. He shuddered slightly with pleasure and purred a bit. He couldn't help it, his ears were a sensitive spot of his.

"Ah well dont drink all that often but erm...rum and coke" he replied because it was the first drink he could think of. "I prefer bud if you know what i mean"

He shifted on his bar stool slightly and chided himself. Down buddy, not even alone with the lady yet he thought with a brief glance down at himself. God he felt out of his comfort zone and a tad dumb. If it wasn't for the weed in his system he might not have worked up the courage to do this in the first place.

"So uh, never done this before honest. I mean, not the sex thing, cause Im not a virgin by any means but.....the whole pay for sex thing. Not sure exactly how it works honestly uh...Do you know somewhere we could be uh alone?" he rambled. Yeah he got that way when he was nervous.

Waving the bills, she called out to the barkeep.  “A rum and coke, here!”

Polly was a little surprised that he, in turn, called her out for what she was (talk about some superb guessing skills, though she hoped for his sake he didn’t approach every scantily clad man or woman with the same proposition), and not only that, he definitely wanted to do some business.  Damn!  Talk about a lucky streak.

But the way he stumbled got a twinge of concern from her.  Were he more subtle she probably wouldn’t have noticed, but now she hoped a drink or two in his system would unwind, if not placate him if she couldn’t.

And in a roundabout way, her ‘base’ question did get answered.   He was just a passerby, not one of the locals.  “Hmm,” She paused to toss her head back to polish off the rest of her ‘tini, “ever heard of the Sticky Trixxx?  That’s my main pad.  I’ll gladly take you back.”

She turned to look at him more directly, giving his knee a pat.  “You’re doin’ fine, kitten.  Not tankin’ as hard or bad as a few other ‘first-timers’, I mean,” she jested.  “We don’t have to rush into it just yet.  Unless…”  Here the pitch of her voice changed, low and silky.  “you’d wanna see what else I could do with-“ She raised the hand on his knee to his inner thigh, in one, swift stroke.  “-this hand.  Sooner.”

Again Polly withdrew, all innocent smiles.

"Nope never heard of it. Is it a ship or just some place on cancer? I live on Sassy Juice personally" he asked.

His rum and coke appeared in front of him suddenly and he took a couple drinks hoping to calm himself. He wasn't use to being this nervous. Didn't figure it could be good on him.

"Thats....." he wasn't able to finish before her hand ran up his thigh. Sexy images assaulted his brain and his dick twitched in his pants. Got to be careful though, he wasn't a pirate for nothing. No red flags tripped in his head, but he was new to being a pirate after all. Plus he was the type of person that believed all people were good.

"I should probably finish this drink first" he said taking another sip and visibly relaxing the more he drank.

From the way he looked with drink in hand, Polly’s concern began to diminish.  Though in the fog of her own, faint buzz she realized she contradicted herself by groping some thigh.  Nice, hard thigh but still!

And he did seem a little shocked, causing her to feel a little guilty.  Thankfully the invasive sweep didn’t seem to turn him off her, but she knew she’d have to exercise dreaded restraint until she knew he was comfortable.

“Sassy Juice?” That combined with ‘Sticky Trixxx’ triggered a lot of interesting images.  Well, interesting and fabulous images.  “Now, what is that and why can’t you take me back there?”  Another tease.  Polly wasn’t really particular about where she did her dealings.  Outside, inside, public, private; made no real difference to her.  That and so far she was lucky enough not to have been caught in the act.

“Some place.”  With a name like that she figured that he could probably put together it being either a strip club or a cathouse.  “Business slowed to a crawl since competitions’ rolled in.  But, I’m gonna wager you’d feel more at ease there.”

“By the way…what can I call you?”  ‘Kid’ and any and all variations of ‘cat’ were fun and all, but had limited use.

"Well I figure your place would be a bit more well equipped to deal with me honestly. Sassy Juice is so small and I was thinking of being more adventurous tonight" he said. Now he was usually a layed back and relaxed guy about sex, but on the rare occasion he wanted something more intense. Some bondage, maybe some scratching, maybe a hint of delicious fear that would send his adrenaline into overdrive. You know, simple stuff.

"Name is Kai. Same starting letter as kitten and not that hard to remember i would think"

Now that only boosted her interest.  “Adventurous, hm?”  Most people were rather plain and simple about their tastes…just a one-and-done up against a wall, or in a bed, wherever; pure missionary style.  “What do you have in mind?”

If he’d divulge, at any rate.  He could consider it too intimate a topic to delve into, considering their surroundings.

"Well see, I'm a submissive when it comes to things. You might be thinking, oh one of those, so I'll just tie him up, tease him a bit, get him off and than collect my money right? Not exactly though. I do like being tied up yeah, but its more the rush that I'm after. That whole terror that makes my mouth go dry type thing. The whole danger aspect of it. Not knowing if the sadistic person that tied me up is ever going to let me go. Just them getting off on hurting me is just....mmm" he purred and moaned slightly at the thought of it all.

The alcohol had loosened his tongue and frankly he didn't care who heard him. He might not even be going back to this bar again anyway. Though at this rate he would do his best to remember this hot lady and even where Sticky Trixx was.

"I don't giving you enough to work off of, or even explaining this quite right. Its more of a feeling almost than the actual act...." he finished his drink, blushing slightly at giving a way details that might make him look well foolish in this sexy ladies eyes.

Her eyes widened a fraction as it allll came tumbling out, the most he’d spoken all night!  But what he said struck alien even to this streetwise woman.  The only experience she’d had that came remotely close was her acting the “submissive” so to speak, and that was only via some dirty talk during a raucous bout of sex.  She wasn’t sure she was, or could be, intense enough for Kai’s tastes.

Still, just because she was a stranger to the concept, didn’t mean she wasn’t willing for a trial run.  “You want me to use and abuse you, Kai?”

She leaned a little closer towards him, smirking at the blush that formed.  Really, she didn’t know if it was caused by the drink or something else, but a little color just added more to his complexion.  “I’m not sure if I’d even wanna to tarnish such a pretty face.  But if you begged me?  Mayyyybe.”

He could tell the concept was new to her but hell, he had specailized tastes. He would take what he could get on this one. Besides the fact that she was smoking hot may make up for any blunders on her part.

"Oh yesss. Tie me down and make me yours." Kai said, purring at the thought.

Than waited a bit. "Unless of course you can't handle me?" he teased.
Title: Re: That awkward moment when... [open]

Handle you?”  She chuckled a bit, relieved that the kid was no longer on pins and needles.  She liked that he unwound rather easily, as while she didn’t mind walking on eggshells to someone’s tastes, it’d get harder to do over time.  Polly assumed, then, that it was safe to make some overtures towards him – but if he froze up again, she’d only retreat.  He might’ve wanted a ruthless “master”, but that Polly could only try to play, and up to a point.

Raising her right hand to his cheek, she stroked down until she used one finger to lift his chin.  She closed the remaining distance between them, busting out the “bedroom” eyes in tandem.  It was times like these she wished she were a little taller, if only so this move could be more impressive.

“Let’s see you talk smack with your face in-between my thighs.  Or…a gag in your mouth?  Hm.”  She let his chin go, her hand moving to the back of his head to scritch a little there.  As if she were pondering.  “Which would you prefer?”

"Mmm probably between your legs...im told im good at that" he replied and the blush was back. Just because he was good at sex didn't mean he was great at talking about it. That and he didnt have much of a dominant bone in him. He could be slightly sadistic if the mood struck, but he was more about submitting and pleasing others than anything.

The scritching though, that's what made his brain turn to goo. Regardless of if he was sober or not, it always put him in the same state of mind. Just pure bliss traveling through his body at that simple touch. He purred and tried to vow to himself that he wouldnt nuzzle her hand for more if she suddenly quit the scritches, but combined with being high and tipsy, that would be a feat in and of itself.

"So..." his brain tried to form coherant thoughts "my drink is gone..."

The corner of her mouth twitched up into a smirk, as the scritching stopped entirely and she calmly sat back, withdrawing her hand.  “Oh, yeah?  So’s mine.  What a coincidence.”

She slipped a 10 dollar bill under her flask, not bothering to wait around to see if the ‘keep would notice or take it.  Almost cavalier, she offered her arm to Kai, “Shall we?”

A slight whimper came out of him when she stopped. He couldn't help himself. Though he was able to keep from nuzzling her hand, which in his state of sobriety was actually difficult. Normally he might have been annoyed at himself for the whimper but right now he had other things on his mind.

"Well alright, but you know if you want to be truely in control......I have a leash." he stated. The reality of things is he just liked to be leashed in general but, he did wonder if she would take his offer up. He held out the leash to her after clipping it to his collar (which yeah he forgot he was wearing).

[I’m sorry it took me so long to reply.  Been having a bit of a muse-lapse here at RoTE and was having too much fun at SoTE. xDD  I’ll try to be more active here.]

When he handed the leash to her, for a moment, she was a little dumbfounded.  Then she laughed heartily, grabbing the loop handle gently and giving him a soft tug.

“Well, all righty then!  Come along little kitty,” Oh man, this was a little odd.  But Polly’d play along, as she slipped her free hand in his – doubly as much of an effort to get him outside.

He grinned, the leash hadn't freaked her out to much. Domanatrix in the making here. Well okay maybe not so much. She was trying though and thats what counted.

"How far away is it anyway?" Kai asked as he followed her.

“It’s only a couple o’ blocks,” Polly smirked – while she no longer worked for the establishment, her pimp had set it up long ago knowing that she couldn’t exactly make a living feeding off her street girls.  Ironically, though, the Sticky Trixx now was on its’ last legs, and by the time they got there Kai could see just how run-down it’d become.

For one thing, it was much smaller than the two other joints on each of its’ sides, almost like it’d been sandwiched in-between its’ aforementioned competition - ‘The Slick Craters’ and the ‘Cum-on-In’, tastefully and respectively.  While the two other spots were brimming with lights and noise, men and women lining up at their doors, the ‘Sticky Trixx’ had a half-asleep bouncer manning the post, who only jolted awake when he saw Polly with Kai in tow.  “Pol!  Hey!”  He greeted with…shall we say an overenthusiastic wave.

As opposed to just heading right in, Polly seemed to see it fit to stop and make chitchat first.  “Hey, Luce~ how’ve you been?”

“Well, you know…pays’ been reduced, hours lengthened, don’t have much of a sleep cycle anymore.  The usual,” he punctuated this with a long, dramatic sigh.  Then his attention turned towards the boy she had on a leash, and he grinned, “Who’s this?  Polly, I thought you only liked girls!”  He proclaimed with a lilt in his voice, though from the way he was eyeing Kai up, it was very clear what Luce’s preferences were.

Not only had Kai never done this before, but he was low on money. Normally he would save a bit back, but well he treated himself to a tad to much booze with his last paycheck. Damn those body shots man.

He looked relieved when the Sticky Trixx wasn't the flashy building on either side. Just some run down place, probably without camera's or crowds. Sort of his style really. He some what paranoid of being watched, particularly since both now high and tipsy.

Kai grinned. Now this guy seemed a lot more up to speed. He raised and eyebrow when he heard she only liked girls. It could very well be that Luce was teasing her, but it was obvious the Luce was attracted to him. He paused in thought.

"Only girls huh? Well I wouldn't want to put you in a position that you didn't like being in. Plus its not like I wont pay you for showing me this place, well and some time with our poor sleepless Luce. Or if you really think you can handle me and want me, a threesome could work out. Or if Luce has something better to do well...his loss"

Kai was up front about his desires. He just didn't now see the point of beating around the bush when it was obvious what he was there for. Besides it was probably evident from the leash that he was in fact kinky. Hopefully one of them was the same. Normally the leash made him more submissive but right now it was business.

He shrugged "either way im game"

Polly didn’t like that she’d been out-ed by Luce, though she didn’t show it.  She never did that to him, besides, it wasn’t as though she didn’t think Kai wasn’t cute or potential fun.  “Doesn’t matter to me, Lucy~,” was all she said in regards to her orientation, taking her rather blunt de-closeting in stride.  She wasn’t even going to rebuke or chastise him, even though she should’ve.  He of course knew the truth of the matter, but it seemed his attention was somewhere else.

While it was easy to stifle her agitation with Luce, she had to admit she was a little surprised by Kai’s behavioral shift.  He was no longer the meek, stumbling boy who approached her earlier.

That rum and coke must’ve done a whopper on his mentality.

“Hmm,” Polly let go of the handle on the leash, her hand dropping down to the base of his tail, giving it a thorough scratch.  Wind ‘im up and watch ‘im go for kicks.  “Whaddya say, Luce?”
The bouncer in question was more openly shocked by these turns of events.  He knew Polly was giving, but to the extent of giving up a mark?

He quickly gave way to desire, though, as he grasped the handle that she dropped and pulled Kai towards him.  “How much d’ya got, kid?”

Trygon had been doing his usual trick of hiding in the vents, watching things happen. It was interesting human behaviour, this mating business. Humans seemed to enjoy the process of mating, and paid their petty money to each other for it. It was a strange habit. His species found mating frightening, asking a 50 foot female if one could mate, or being commanded by her to mate was terrifying.

It even looked like they were getting violent.

He moved forward slightly, hoping to get a better look, and instead, fell through the loose grate with a loud crash, and a writhing mass of body.

He growled slightly as he laid there, feeling quite stupid.

He purred as she scratched his tail and  his mind went blank for a minute. He barely registered the crashing noise near them and  because of his state of mind he didnt really care. Usually he would be a bit paranoid but right now, he had other things on his mind. It was like a faint thought of whats that, who cares.

"Dont mean to like blow you off or anything" he stated feeling slightly bad at his behavior. "Maybe next time? Like if your still open when i come back?" he joked slightly.

Right, money talk now. "Uh like 250 that i can safely spare. Would have more but ya know gotta eat and all" he said to Luce, feeling a bit stupid that he didnt have more. He usually had more, he was a pirate after all. Nothing more pathetic than a near broke pirate. "Dunno how much you all normally charge...heh" He was back to his more submissive meekness, not that he couldn't quickly change to serious if the situation called for it.

He looked at Luce eagerly, hoping that just because he didnt have enough money that the encounter wouldn't just end there. Hopeing that they wouldnt just walk away. It didn't work like that did it? He had had people walk out on him before and it was just awful.

“250?  Like, what, 2 dollars, 50 cents?”  Luce made a face at that, though his hand remained on the handle as well as around the boy.  But before he could say more, his eyes caught sight of some black, writhing mass; making him turn white as a sheet.

The burly bouncer suddenly clung to Kai for dear life, letting out a high-pitched screech, “Oh my God, WHAT is THAT?!”

Polly, having heard the sound herself, turned and caught sight of the creature, though her eyes widened only slightly.  She’d been on Cancer for far longer than Lucy, and having seen some fucked up stuff, a big, black wriggling thing was small potatoes.  But she was more curious than scared or indifferent, so she strode over to the creature, bending over to look down at him and looking rather tall herself in her 5’-inchers.  “You ok little guy?”

[Idk where exactly Try is so if I need to do some major editing, please tell me xD  I’m just assuming he’s now out in the open and nearby]

Trygon heard the human call him small, so instinctively he rose to full height, turning to face her, reavealing all the limbds, mandibles, teeth and extremities which might make him seem a bit more menacing.

And then, just to anti-climax it all, after a few seconds of slowly rising in height, he slumped to a relaxed 6'8", deciding it wasn't worth it.

"I'm fine, thank you for asking. And I am no thing, human, I am a creature of nightmare and death. Run, rabbit, run." He had heard a child singing that the other day. Rather frightening to hear a child singing. Run, rabbit, run, rabbit, run, run, run. Farmers gonna shoot ya with a big fat gun, he sung the rest in his head.

"As in 2 hundred 50 credits" he replied, mentally facepalming. Now yeah he was sort on cash, but he wasn't a bum. He was a pirate for bloody sake. Holy shit fuck, Kai's mouth opened in disbelief. What the hell was this thing? Was it some bug? God bugs kinda creep Kai out.

He faced the new bug thing, still looking a bit squimish. No one tells Kai what to do unless he gives them the authority to do so. "Pirates dont run" he stated pulling a blade from his belt. "Also, I know how to use this, and as fun as it would be to stab a bug, which no offense but they creep me out anyway, I don't really want to have to fight you."

This is what i get when I try to have fun Kai thought.

Polly, herself, backed up when the alien rose, more in awe than in fear.  It’d been a long time since she’d seen a creature like him!  Her? …It?  At any rate, it seemed minor abnormalities like Kai – with just an extra set of ears and/or tails – were more common than this uh…unique “gentleman” before them.

These were perhaps inappropriate thoughts to have, though, considering how Luce and Kai reacted.

Luce did take the creature’s suggestion, fleeing from behind Kai and into the Sticky Trixx; bolting the door shut behind him.  “Sorry guys!  I’ll call the Reds for ya!”

…Wow.  When the going gets tough, Polly mused wryly.  She’d have to make a note to talk to Mia about giving a certain someone the boot.

Polly didn’t really get nervous (despite the big fellow’s boast of being a creature of nightmare and death and whatnot), however, until she saw Kai pull out a knife.  Did…she and the kid see the same creature unfold itself out, or was he still drunk and envisioned a six-legged bunny?!

Speaking of which, she was still a little buzzed, too.  If this guy/girl did lash out, it wouldn’t be especially easy for either of them to escape.

Plus, she didn’t want to see Kai get hurt.  “Easy, Kai…don’t take on Mr. Big.  Can you see those talons?  That’s a certified slice ‘n dice!”

Sarah had been tracking the scent for the better part of the day, taking advantage of some business Ari had on the Cancer. For a while now, she'd been planning on seeing what, exactly, had been crawling through the station's vents, mainly to see if it was edible, and her search had taken her to what she supposed was meant to be some sort of human sex worker establishment. She'd had to refuse several... sales pitches... during her wait, but, when the creature fell out of the vents, her patience was rewarded.

<No, you're an overgrown bug. I'm a creature of nightmares and death.>, she quipped, appearing behind the creature, <I'm a little disappointed that you're not a human orphan or some manner of rat. Those at least taste good...>, she added, contempt clear in her 'tone'.

"Agreed, human orphans do have a particular taste to them... But I have no quarrel with you, dragon. You are part of a dying kind. I will not fight you." He turned his back to the dragon, facing the two humans.

"And the girl is right, human, I could easily cut you in half. His right top talon darted into a space of darkness, scraping out two recently separated halves of a rat. He would not eat it, it was simply a demonstration of what he could actually do.

"Of course, your knife wouldn't do much damage, I am built to take bigger wounds, the wounds from vibro-swords and power-blades. Not knives. Perhaps if you had a Marlokian combat knife, I would be scared. But you do not. You have a letter opener." Trygon clicked his mandibles threateningly.

"Thanks for backing us up Luce! Bet you locked the door behind you didnt you, coward!" Kai yelled behind him and sighed. Looks like he wasn't getting laid tonight.

"Letter opener huh? Well fuck..." he trailed off and put the knife back in his belt. "Though if you wanted us dead, you would have probably done so already. Unless your the type to play with there food? What the hell do you want anyway?" he asked, curious as to the creatures motives.

"Wow, you killed my high....." he said amazed. Usually he was able to keep a buzz through slight stress. Oh well. He took a slow puff and exhaled in the creatures direction. "Might as well die stoned..."

“Good boy,” Polly commented as Kai withdrew – it sounded sarcastic, but she was really relieved.  If the kid kept egging on this uh…’black beauty’ who knows what would’ve happened.

That didn’t mean they were out of hot water; yet.  Soon as the bug-man/woman arrived, so did a more reptilian visitor.  Who…seemed to want to eat him??

Alien culture was just weird, man.  Interesting, but weird, as her nose slightly scrunched up at the ‘human orphans’ bit.  Was that a joke, or were these guys running around, plucking stray kids off the streets of Cancer?  She’d have to ask once either the dust was more settled or as soon as they got the aliens’ intentions out of the way.

That said, she expected this encounter to end somewhat peacefully.  The bug-man/woman didn’t attack just yet, even tried to dismiss the 4th party who seemed to have threatened him.  Hell, maybe he’d just ask for directions to someplace and scuttle off his merry way, with the lizard-woman maybe or maybe not in tow.  If it was the former, well…she hoped she wouldn’t make due on eating the guy/…girl.

<If one more idiot mistakes me for a dragon, there's going to be a genocide on Aedolis.>, Sarah growled, gathering magical energy beneath the creature, then converting it into a gravitational force on the creature roughly 20 times that of Cancer's normal gravity, <Note the fact that I don't have wings, or machinery sticking out of me. Nor am I tethered to some squishy human like a pet on a leash. Also note the bladed tail.>, she added, her tail blade hovering dangerously next to her head. <Before I see if your species is edible, I've got a question: Why are you scuttling about the station in the vents? If your intentions were truly peaceful, one would think you'd take a less suspicious route.> The observation, though made as if it were a remark on the weather, was pointed, an attempt to get the creature to drop its 'peaceful' pretense and attack.

"You think yourself clever, lizard, whatever you do, my body will simply adapt. I am built to adapt. I crawl around the vents because fools like yourself irritate me by trying to kill me. I look menacing. I have consumed the life force of hundreds of worlds. Devoured civilisations. Such is the way of my people. But I grew bored, and you and the humans cannot comprehend the idea of anything beyond your own existence." Trygon was about to attack, but he withheld. If the gravity dropped, he would simply adapt. He had been on gas giants. He simply needed to adapt.

"Now leave. I crawl through ducts because they are ideal conditions for me. I can survive in the void, but I cannot sleep outside of my personal conditions, and the vents and ducts are suitable. I would still be in there, had the grate not come out underneath me." Trygon was stuck between indecision. Kill this reptile, and continue his discussion with the humans, or let it live.

Kai just stood there looking confused. Aliens man, just weirdness. He however didn't figure that they were a  threat to him and Polly, well at least at the moment. It was good enough for him, have them bicker or whatever they were doing and if they started fighting well they could always run somewhere.

That lizard chick did look somewhat familiar though. He tried to concentrate and remember where he had gotten a glimpse of her before but it invaded him. She could maybe work for Ari on the Sassy Juice, but he was relatively new there and had only really met Nick and Ari a couple times. He would look stupid if he asked, plus didn't want to interrupt the conversation of two obviously dangerous creatures.

He purred at Polly's comment and the high that was coming on, since the earlier high had been blown by fear. The tipsiness was dying down slightly, but whatever, he wasn't a fan of drinking unless it was a social experience anyway. That blade tail looked way dangerous, and he wished he had some popcorn so he could enjoy the fight better.

Welp, so much for an ‘peaceful’ outcome.

As opposed to just sitting and watching it unfold, Polly took a hold of Kai’s arm, in an attempt to pull him towards the ‘Cum-on-In’ and out of range for any potential attacks.  “C’mon, kid – let’s not get hacked or diced,” she looked the two aliens over – she was curious about them, but at the same time, she didn’t want to die or end up wounded by a stray blade or talon if and when the two got to dancing.

“If you wanna watch, though; I’m betting on that black beaut.  If I win, you're giving him...or her your 250.  What’s your bet?” Polly asked Kai, albeit half-joking.

<Don't make me laugh. Do you honestly think yours is the only species that knows anything? That yours is the only strong species? Get real.>, Sarah snapped, appearing in front of the creature with piece of its carapace roughly the size of a dinner plate in her hand, <You'd be stupid to underestimate me, bug. Everyone else who has is dead.>, she added, assuming a challenging stance, daring with her entire body for the creature to attack.

As she waited, the realisation hit her than she'd smelled the neko's scent before. A quick glance, less than a millisecond, confirmed that the neko was, in fact, one of Ari's new hires. <That brakja must think he's running a dreadnought, the way he hires mechanics.>, she thought half-aloud, <Then again, maybe this is the one that finally comes close to being my equal.>.

"I bet the dragon looking chick.....Blade tail. Totally effective looking" he said as she lead him a little ways away. She did have a point though, no use getting hacked to pieces. As much as he wanted to watch the fight, he valued his life.

"Hold up? Equal? Man i wish i was equal to you.....sarah is it?" The sudden remembering of her name made him feel stupid. Jeez he knew he had seen her before. He took another toke and offered some to Polly. This night had been quite a weird one.

"Fine... The humans will suffer first though..." Trygon snarled. He had no care for the humans, so he simply grabbed one with his tail pincer, and coiled round them. The lizard lady would have to attack first. He would not start a fight. She would.

"Don't go anywhere, human sex servant, you're next on my list to hold!" He clicked his mandibles and growled a low, sickening rattle. He squeezed Kai with every ounce of spare energy not being saved for the fight. He would feed if necessary.

Polly gaped openly as the boy was looped out of her grasp and into the aforementioned “black beauts’” – what was its’ deal?  And here she had a high esteem for it!

“Kai!”  She was torn.  She didn’t know if indeed Luce had called for the Reds, or if they’d even show, or if she should try to find security, herself.  She didn’t want to abandon Kai, but what could she do? Without any effective weapon on her person, not a whole damn lot.

Yet, she had no idea if once she turned her back on him, he’d end up asphyxiated or eviscerated, or any manner of way that equated to ‘dead’.  So as opposed to running away, she came right up to Kai where he was bound, futilely pulling and “clawing” at the tail.  Polly tried to avoid its’...rather nasty looking stinger as she attempted to yank it enough for him to hopefully breathe if not slip out of.  But, then -  human strength vs. alien strength?  Not exactly equal grounds, there.

<No, I'm Rhalah, the Ocean Weaver.>, Sarah snapped, <One Karmid among the crew, and you can barely remember her name. Nally! So much for that bit of hope.> She shook her head as she returned her attention to the problem at hand.

The only movement that was to be seen from Sarah was the faint grimace-grin as she appeared to flicker like a bad hologram. As she did, several puncture wounds appeared in the creature's tail. <I'm curious... Does your species have a nervous system? Does it feel pain? And is it immune to neurotoxins?>, she asked somewhat mockingly as she tripled the gravitational force on the creature. Gravity wells were an easy magic to perform if one knew how to work them, and Sarah had had much experience using them in and out of combat. <If not, I suggest you brace yourself. Your nervous system's due for a firestorm.>, she growled, <And one more thing: I don't give two shits about the humans. I'd eat them myself if it weren't for the trouble their deaths at my hands would bring. Maybe the experience will toughen the squishies up.>.

Trygon felt bones break and organs puncture. But he simply adapted. With sickening crunches, and a few snaps and pops, he was back to normal, and the neurotoxins flushed from his system. Instead, he converted them into acid. He spat it at this "sarah" and laughed.

"I am too good! Hahahaa...."

The pain registered in Kai's brain finally. There was a slight snap and he screamed. He began beating on the alien in a panic, his fists probably not even registering to the thing. Kicking and squirming in blind panic and pain, trying his hardest to just get away.

"Yeah, sarah. Sorry just get this thing off me. I'm sorry, I dont wanna die. Please please please. It fucking hurts. I think he cracked something and oh god I dont want to die...." he said rapidly, his very words having no space between them.

His pipe was broken and the high he had gotten evaporated into the air. It was hard to believe that no one would come to see what the screaming was about, but than again they were on cancer. It didn't mater. All the matered was that the pain and the feeling of being trapped ended.

"Dude, we arent even doing anything to you. I mean we are just little insignificant humans right? Just let us go and you can continue your chat without having to worry about us..." he pleaded.

[Copy that.]
<You always this brave, or did I just catch you on a good day>, Sarah asked, the sarcasm obvious in her 'tone' as well as the fact that her left eye ridge was arched in her typical expression of sarcasm.

The acid stopped in midair as it encountered a gravity well created by more of Sarah's magic, then fell to the ground harmlessly as she dispelled the energy. <You're too confident, you mean.>, she sniped as the afterimage faded, appearing behind the creature with its left upper arm in one hand, and holding Kai by the shoulder in the other, the creature's severed tail still wrapped about him. <I believe this is yours?>, she mocked, taking a bite out of the severed arm before tossing it at the creature's back. <Disgusting.> Sarah spit the flesh and carapace mixture out, then converted water magic into water to flush the rest, tossing Kai aside to deal with later. The Draconian's attention went back to the creature at hand, waiting to see what it did. As she did, her tail flickered as puncture wounds appeared in the creature's back, each stab meant to test the creature's body.

[She's literally poking around to see where its vitals are, though she's not invested enough to follow if he bolts, so he'd get away relatively cleanly if the 60x gravity isn't enough to hold him (Jupiter, the largest planet in the Sol system, is only about 2.5x gravity, to put it into perspective).]

Trygon screeched unholy slaughter as the draconian poked holes in his carapace.

"RAGH! You think you are doing any permanent damage? I cannot die, the Shadow protects me. And my limbs will grow back. Death or not. But I am tired of this already. You present me no true threat. Thus I retire to my vents." Trygon was bluffing. He just couldn't be bothered to fight back, not after being poked and stabbed and dismembered.

He pulled one final crush on the human boy, and whipped his tail at the draconian's face, before climbing the wall with his talons and slithering into a vent.

((OOC: Aaaaaaand, he's gone.))

The rest of the encounter sort of blurred together in Kai's head. Maybe it was because of the pain or strange aliens. Maybe it was that he was going into shock. He didn't really know or try to make much sense of it currently. He stared up at the ceiling of Cancer, just laying  there and not really caring to move much.

Something was probably broken or at least cracked. He wasn't a doctor or anything though. The strange thing is, he didn't seem to care. It was like one second he was in agony and the next laying on the floor staring at the ceiling, perfectly calm.

Sweating but at the same time shivering and pale he reached for a pipe from his pocket and took a small hit. He would be fine, he told himself. It was all just some big weird experience that would look funny in the morning right? Exactly. Well besides feeling like he was going to pass out at any minute.

Polly’s shoulders visibly sagged in relief as Trygon slunk away.  Sure, she most definitely lost her bet, but now a boy was no longer in peril!

Or so she thought.  She had been forced to take a (if not several more) step(s) back when the dragon-lady, aka ‘Sarah’ intervened, and bore witness to the gore that seemed split-second.  She wasn’t shocked or appalled by what she seen, just glad that the conflict was over…too bad it couldn’t have ended like she originally envisioned, but they wanted to rumble.  It was just unfortunate she couldn’t have pulled Kai away quicker, as she clack-clacked over to the fallen boys’ body, squatting down to survey him with a frown.  “Kai?  …Are you all right?  Talk.  C’mon.”

Not only were the very audible cracks not a good sign (it could’ve been his ribs, back…) but the fact that he went white and mute were even worse.  Oddly the joint he used could alleviate some of his pain, but it wasn’t the cure.

She looked to Sarah, not sure if she was willing to do more or if she only tussled with the other alien to both: a.) eat him, as planned and/or b.)  show him what-for while getting a crew member out of immediate jeopardy.  Polly had no idea if her generosity had its’ limits, and if she’d just leave them to their own devices.  With one hand encircling his shoulders, preparing to lift him, she asked, “You know each other, right?  …You know anyone who can look him over?”

Polly could maybe find a doctor, but it’d be a long and convoluted process, having to find the Reds and get him transported to a clinic, if any were open.  In which case:  she hoped his wounds weren’t that bad so that she could afford the time to find him a said clinic.

<Coward.>, Sarah remarked as the creature slunk away to lick its wounds, though she didn't bother to pursue it. Instead, she retrieved its arm, then appeared next to Kai, the arm in the back of her overalls. <I'm embarrassed to be on the same crew as you. If you're going to get yourself killed, you could at least try to look brave doing it.>, she growled after fixing what she could with magic, her medical knowledge extending just far enough to stabilize him, then ripped the tail free. In response to the female's question, <As much as it disgusts me to say it, this coward and I are on the same crew. The medic could probably patch him up, but I'm not entirely sure I feel like taking him.>. On one hand, he was a member of the crew, and Ari would likely be pissed if he were to go missing and turn up dead due to her refusal to help. On the other hand, however, he'd seriously pissed her off when he'd begged for his life like spineless prey. Granted, technically, he was prey, but still... Sarah expected more out of a pirate.

Kai felt some form of relief in the magic. While he wasn't healed per se, he was doing a bit better. He was registering other peoples conversations a tad clearer, and tried to bring himself a way from the tired calm blanket that his mind and body were in.

"I was out matched and panicked. If something was bigger stronger and lethal to you how would you react? Would you run and live to fight another day, or pick a fight you know you can't win? Logically yes, I probably should have just walked off, but I didn't. Am I a coward for panicking when something was going to kill me? No. I was also betting that you would win that fight, because from what ive seen of you, you aren't to be messed with. Now, I can promise you that if you take me back, I will hold my own from now on. This is a tad different from the streets of Midhaven, and i am new to this" he explained.

His explanation could have been shorter or more organized but there it was. He would not have her just leave him or think he was weak and stupid. He may be a submissive, but when push came to shove, Kai did have claws. He could break out of his submissive mindset whenever he wished, he just found it relaxing to not have to deal with everyone's crap once and awhile.

He put the pipe back in his pocket. He felt no pain, just slight annoyance that someone could think so little of him from one reaction he made. Yeah actions speak louder than words, but the two hadn't even really met. He respected her, but refused to be looked down on.

She opened then snapped her mouth shut.  Coward?  Ouch…didn’t seem like these two had a good working relationship.  Or chances of it were completely shot to Hell after this unfortunate episode.

Kai stood up for himself, having the temerity to dole out a pretty neat defense.  Polly gave a brief smile down at him before glancing up at Sarah, “Its’ the Sassy Juice, right? …If you don’t feel like taking him back, I can walk him to port,” though it’d be a good deal of a longer walk, considering he’d have to have his arm around her neck and such.  She hardly had the strength to carry even a teenage boy bridal-style. “You could lead us there, if you want and if need be.”

Or she could end up taking the third option, scooping up Kai and being on their merry way – it was really her call.

<That's a stupid question. I'd kill it, or dismember it in the process of dying. Either way, I wouldn't be shrieking like a newly-born Kashal held at spearpoint, and I definitely wouldn't be caught making such a pathetic display of such begging. I expect a certain amount of weakness from humans, but I've eaten slaves with more spine.>. She considered the promise carefully. Humans, her experiences had taught her, were rarely honest, but, on the other hand, the captain did have a good grasp on how to read people... The female was put on ignore for the moment as Sarah mulled over the options. Well, a moment to her, anyway, as scarcely a few milliseconds had passed.

<Fine. But you're carrying him. You can also explain what he was doing here in the first place, and how your guard abandoned his post. Speaking of...>, Sarah answered, appearing next to the door the other human had barred. Cracks appeared in the door as Sarah brought a combination of ice, fire, and gravity energies against the door, then the door shattered as she struck it gently with her palm. <I can track you down faster than you can flee, human. Get your ass out here.>, she growled publicly, knowing the male was bound to hear.

It usually wasnt a good idea to walk with some internal injuries but it looks like he didn't have much of a choice this time. Getting shot or stabbed, he could understand that, but getting crushed? Who ever heard of a pirate getting crushed? God how pathetic.

At least the thing didnt crush his legs. He could probably support himself that way, and be damned if he was just going to lean on Polly. He smiled back and attempted to get up, which was also alot easier because his arms hadnt been smashed. He stood up and swayed, getting rather dizzy at the motion of getting to his feet. Damn bug alien bastard. He barely managed to steady himself so that he didnt fall on his ass.

"Knowing Ari's drunken debauchery, I doubt she'll have to explain that to him. He's probably gotten in a couple of scrapes in his time"

He hoped Luce would get out here soon, the guard would probably be a great help in getting him back to the Sassy Juice. He leaned against a wall of the brothel. He was slowly sliding down said wall despite his best efforts.

The ‘Sticky Trixx’ went eerily mum, as if the place itself were holding its’ breath.  The lights dimmed (even more so than usual), no one was on the stage, nor in the chairs.  The music stopped ever since the fight started.  There’d been a yelp or two when Sarah reduced the door to splinters, but a pronounced pause overtook.

Polly knew Luce couldn’t be alone inside.  There had to be a couple strippers, some of them old friends, along with a patron or two.  She wondered if they’d try to protect him, or if he sequestered himself in one of the VIP rooms.  Was he even in the building?
Her immediate concerns weren’t with him, however.  She hoped Sarah wouldn’t eat him, but then again, Kai needed her attention at the moment.

She caught him as he slid, attempting to wrap his left arm around her neck and shoulders.  “Don’t get ahead of yourself, kid, hang on…”  Polly wasn’t quite sure how to explain Kai’s being at…a strip club.  With her.  Not so much out of concern for herself as it was for the kid – given how meek and shy he acted earlier, she didn’t want to risk adding insult to injury by possibly embarrassing him.  Then again, it was foolish to worry about tainting a pirate’s dignity.  “Try to-“

She was cut off by a stir that ensued inside the club, whispered voices growing snappish and loud, until finally Luce appeared – pushed forth by three scantily clad employees.  The man gasped at the sight of Sarah and whirled around, ironically admonishing the womens’ departing backs.  “Oh, thanks for leaving me with the lizard, girls!”

<He's also smart enough to bring a real weapon to a fight with an alien bug, tough enough to kick its ass, and brave enough to look death in the face and laugh. You, however, brought a toothpick to a fight with a living weapon, got your ass handed to you, and begged so pathetically for your life that I'd be surprised if you weren't crying your eyes out.>, Sarah remarked 'privately', <That's totally the same.>. The human's effort to stand made her shake her head in irritation. <You're stable, not healed. Lay your ass down and wait to be carried before you get worse or break what little I was able to fix.>, she snapped as she converted earth, gravity, and electric magical energies into a hovering stretcher.

<Oh, like you're one to talk. Shut up and help get the idiot onto the stretcher before I decide to sate the hunger that fight worked up.>. Sarah grabbed the human's shoulder, spun him around, then violently shoved him toward the others. <You're also coming with. You've got some explaining to do.>, she added, her 'tone' almost predatory.

"Not like i knew i was going to get into a fight tonight" he muttered back, no possessing that telepathy stuff she seemed to have.

He was half way to following her first order when she ordered them to get him on the stretcher.  The slightly invisible magic stretcher. The concept of it almost made him pass out. Almost, but he had some thing to say first.

"I dont get why your bringing them a long to explain what an idiot ive been. No offense to them but Im pretty sure you can handle that yourself" and with that confusion out of the way, he passed out on the stretcher.
