Can a Pilot own a business? Can I create a pilot that for some reason owns a brothel, or something like that?

Pilots can do anything normal people do!
xD There would have to be a better reason than 'they felt like it,' Pilots do lots and lots of stuff ( We never play it out though because paperwork and writing code is boooooooooooooring ) with their job(the Pilot one). They'd be able to support a business that they own, but they probably wouldn't actively run it. They're too busy.
For instance, ShinigamiKitsune's Trance owns and supports an orphanage. He visits occationally, but he doesn't have the time to actually -run- it. he just owns it and supports it because he felt like there needed to be more orphanages..eses..

You could always have someone else who actually runs it who your pilot was in contact with a lot of the time or something like that. =)
