Physical appearance
Height: 180 centimeters
Figure: Ghostly. He has a thin, almost gaunt figure, with little muscle mass, pronounced collarbones, narrow shoulders, and a thin waist. However, he only appears thin, not completely sickly, as his profession and training requires him to keep himself in a good shape. Even then, his visage suggests that his eating habits are neglected.
Hair: Pitch black and mostly unkempt, but with the quality of silk. Toshi has long bangs that frame his face, and his usually shoulder-length hair is mostly worn lousily pinned at the back of his head. It is not tended to too well, and thus appears scruffy
Skin color: Ghostly white, nearly grey, with very little hue
Eye color: Dark grey, nearly black unless in direct light
Facial features: His face has a sharp appearance, a pointed chin and quite large, almond-shaped eyes set above tall cheekbones and cheeks that somewhat sink in. He also has thin lips and nose, and neither of those stand out too much. His general appearance is youthful, far more than his age would say, and one would consider him little older than a teenager, though an attractive one at that. However, he often has bags or dark rings under his eyes due to the amount of nights he spends sleepless.
Distinguishing marks: Except his unusually dark eyes and paper-like skin, there is little that would be unusual about him. There is a thin scar at the back of his neck, and another that lines the edge of his ribs on the right side of his chest, but otherwise, he has no tattoos, piercings, or otherwise important marks.
Clothing: Usually it's the common pilot uniform. When out of duty, Toshi wears mostly dark colors, avoiding anything bright or colorful as much as possible. He tends to wear layers of baggy clothes - rugged, slightly torn jeans stuffed into a pair of sturdy boots he doesn't bother lacing properly, a wide T-shirt often worn with a vest underneath, and usually a thick shirt with a leather jacket, or a loose hoodie. He hates wearing hats, but is often seen with a thick scarf at his neck and a pair of fingerless gloves. His clothes tend to hang on him in a multitude of folds, and yet fail to make him look less skinny, achieving the exactly opposite effect instead. He's also often seen wearing the hood of his jacket up to avoid any unnecessary attention.

Personality
Hot and cold. Some people call Toshi a perverted freak, while other don't mind him at all despite his contradicting personality. He is usually quite calm and cold, bearing an air of indifference and boredom in practically everything. It's as if he wasn't interested in the world at all, and all being down on earth is for him is just drifting through trash. He doesn't often laugh, but he shouts or cries even less often. Usually there is something serene about him and the way he avoids expressing his emotions greatly. He is nowhere near being theatrical, and some people even consider him too cold and distant.
However, even though he is rarely seen enthusiastic or even straight out happy, he can become upset quite easily, and then he becomes gloomy and grumpy. He hates losing almost childishly, and after defeat easily becomes depressed and disinterested in the world completely.
He doesn't have much of a sense of humor except for irony and sarcasm.
He isn't a slacker, and he is more likely to overwork himself due to his obsessive nature, rather than slack, and he holds onto his goals with incredible perseverance. He has a tendency to neglect both eating and sleeping when it comes to work, and is fabled for being most likely a hardcore caffeine addict, downing at least four cups of coffee a day. He is very devoted to his work.
However, he has a dislike for forming romantic relationships. Some people say he is practically incapable of feeling love, but most people don't think he has ever even so little as kissed a girl. And they are, actually, right.
He has an extremely high pain threshold, to the point where he can sustain injuries such as a major fracture or a large burn, equal to putting both hands into a fire for a moderate amount of time, without wincing, what makes him even more suited for combat.
He isn't really a big fan of the fame he receives as a pilot, and usually tries to blend in, pretending to be no different from most people.

Skills and combat abilities
Physical: Due to his father's tampering with his genetic information, Toshi's physical abilities have been enhanced in an almost super-soldier manner. He can lift/press up to thrice his weight, but his strength, while remaining in human limits, is not his main ability.
That is his durability, endurance, and speed. He can run in a speed up to 100 mp/h and perform attacks in rapid succession without any obvious consequences. He is also capable of jumping about 10 meters high, 15 at most, without consequences to his body.
He is also much more durable and can regenerate injuries which could be fatal - such as damage done to his internal organs, internal bleeding, or major blood loss - when treated soon enough. He can even, over extended periods of time, regenerate lost limbs (though to regrow as much as a hand can take even as much as half a year for the tissue to be replaced).
Not only can he heal from damage, but he is also more resistant than expected. This manifests not only in the form of a high pain threshold - which is necessary for him to fully utilize his abilities - but also in the fact that his body tissue is more durable and more difficult to damage than that of an ordinary human. It takes about twice more strength to cause him an injury as it would without the modification. This also features an equal resistance to poisons, pathogens, and extreme conditions (such as temperature, pressure, or oxygen levels)
The downside of this is the amount of nutrition his body requires. He needs, to sustain his metabolism, to take in much more energy than an average person of his height and build. That causes his underfed appearance - even slight neglecting of his eating habits can end up in him appearing gaunt, as his body simply needs more nutrients to function than an ordinary human body.
His abilities also require extra care and training to get under control, and he often used to find it difficult not wreck things such as furniture.
He is naturally very nimble and agile, and his great training in martial arts utilizes his natural skills exceptionally well. He is exceptionally good at things such as parkour and martial arts that require extreme finesse to master, what makes him a particularly deadly opponent in unarmed combat. He is capable of battling an armed opponent even twice his size and still be victorious.
His eyesight and hearing has also been improved by the genetic experiments that have been conducted on him. That makes his otherwise moderate aim with firearms increase due to his very accurate aim.
However, he much prefers close combat, and has a good skill with blades.
He is also a good pilot, and is highly skilled in fighting on a dragon's back.
Magic: He was born as a naturally strong psychic, with two tier 1 and one tier 3 ability. While his telepathic abilities are ordinary, he has a particularly strong telekinesis, able to manipulate things as large as entire walls only with the strength of his mind. He also possesses a quite strong technopathy.

Pets: He is more of a pet to his dragon rather than him being his pet, but he has a strong emotional attachment to his dragon named Reijingusan (though, he more often calls him just Rei or San). It is a male, almost fully grown one with a lithe, elegant appearance, black scales, and a wingspan larger than average, giving him a greater strength in flying. The dragon is, much like his pilot, a specialist in nimble and agile movement, and Rei is fabled for exceptional flight mastery and fast movement. However, he is much more fierce and hot-headed than Toshi, who often holds him back from emotional outbursts (which San still experiences even despite being about 400 years old). The two have an intimate relationship, which is, however, most often seen as very silent. As Toshi is obsessed with work, Reijingusan is involved in his life maybe even more than he himself would wish. Some people say that the relationship Toshi has towards Rei is the closest he ever had to an intimate relationship, though the two themselves claim that there is nothing but a close friendship between them.

Backstory
Childhood: Toshi was born as the only child of a Libran immigrant (legal, though - it was her heritage which caused the unusual coloration of his skin) Eiridne Thalee, and a TRIM scientist, Ryosei Naito, who was, by the time he married Eiridne, already retired (and almost twice her age). He was one of the more prominent research scientists that conducted research on psychics. Eiridne, however, didn't survive the difficult labor, and died shortly after giving birth to her son. Ryosei raised his son alone, as well as he could, but at five years of age, Toshi got into a traffic accident which hurt him badly, and almost caused even his death. Ryosei was desperate to save his son, and used one of the researched scientific methods that he studied back in the laboratories to heal him by greatly increasing his regeneration, while also enhancing his physical abilities. The success that he had in this, not only fully regenerating Toshi's body, but also boosting up his strength and speed, encouraged Ryosei to further try to enhance his genome, and Toshi became the subject of a few more experiments, which increased his telekinesis and endurance, while taking lessons in martial arts since an early age - he was practically MEANT to become a member of the military since his strong psionic abilities were discovered. It was put into his head for so long that he actually started believing it.
Teenage years: At the age of 13, he was taken to become a member of the military, and undertook the hard training program, while also taking extra training to control his abilities. His enhanced physical abilities caused him to become an exceptionally good soldier. Nothing too significant happened in that age, except for him meeting and being chosen by Reijingusan, his dragon. Soon after, he graduated.
Adulthood: After finishing the training at the age of 20, he showed exceptional prowess in combat, and two years later rose up to become an Echo. At the age of 26, about a year ago, he was promoted to a Noble.
