Where can I find more in-depth lore on each faction/planet.

Also, pretty new to this freeform stuff.
Saw your other Earth RP but I'm more interested in science fantasy,
so here I am.

Is this at all based off of Rifts (as a side question)?

There's a wiki here (http://remnants.spiritsoftheearth.net/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page), though there's some lore, particularly player-created stuff, that isn't there yet, and, no, this is a completely original RP (to the best of my knowledge. Rhi would be he best one to answer for certain.). As to freeform, it's easier than it looks.

Its all mostly character plot driven and to be honest we are in the process of reviving a lot of different locales and basically trying to re-establish things there so no huge plot lines at the moment.
