Physical Description and personality Edyth is about five and a half feet tall with brown hair that looks like it was very long at one point before she cut it with a razor. She's got a lot of good foundation to her frame, and she would be pretty if she tried to be, but she's sturdy and straightforward, often in a tank-top and jeans with boots that bear TRIM markings. She looks like a girl that, even if Tomboy couldn't really be applied easily, would never the less not mind passing for male. The result is just slightly awkward and calf-ish, like someone who hasn't really come to terms yet with who they are.

When she uses her powers, her normally brown eyes glow solid blue with light lancing out in solid streams, as if from crystals, and her skin takes on a similar, lighter blue hue spreading from darker veins of the neon color. Because of the energy her body is producing, she often crackles with visible arcs of energy when she is not forming the exoskeleton - this is especially true when she is worked up. At times, her powers will start to trigger when she's in a heightened state of emotion, when fear or anger (or joy - its possible!) are riding high. She's not... completely in control of them - its all an extension of her will of course, but they are more than slightly wild.

The exoskeleton she often forms appears to be constructed from energy on the spot, or perhaps her body produces an innate hard light field she can modulate - in any case, it grows quickly and forms itself of a metallic black substance, interlaced with webs of shimmering blue - the plates seem to form on the surface of seas of this strange blue energy. The newly formed exoskeleton grows steadily the longer she has to work upon it, and during testing it has grown well past ten feet in height, a monstrous figure of light and metal. At that point, she's not at home to Mr. Reasonable - she's probably seriously worked up! Her priorities are thus - Flee if she can, fight if she must, and destroy everything that gets in her way.

At her core, she is broken - she wanted to be a Pilot, once upon a time... but her mutation was too interesting, and just for that she was sold out to Thanatos Inc. To say she has a lot of twisted up feelings about the power that betrayed her and the megacorporation that tormented her and tried to destroy the part of her that was 'her' would be a SERIOUS understatement. She's not a bad person at heart, she's still a human being... but she doesn't have many middle gears - where the forces that helped make her into a monster are concerned, she has not a bone of mercy or compassion in her body. Her features take on a grimly happy shine... and she sets to work.

Psionic capabilities

The use of her powers hardens her skin. The energy involved is unknown in nature or in any other instance, and its abilities to temporarily reinforce molecular structures are well documented. In full swing, she can turn aside small arms fire with a minimum of inconvenience, though she still responds to electromagnetic stun sticks, magical assault, and other psionic powers, albeit at certain level of resistance.

Edyth can form a black metallic substance with fields of the blue energy her body produces, and often she can do so in quite complicated shapes - like her exoskeleton.

The exoskeleton itself is a defensive reaction, an unforeseen side effect of the tests she underwent. Since then... Its become something of a signature. At later stages of its development as it grows larger and larger, she begins to demonstrate superhuman levels of brute strength and durability.

She has demonstrated the frightening ability to assimilate machinery, electronics, and weaponry - and not only reform her own versions on their own or as part of the exo, but understand them too. It is postulated also that she can use this matter to 'heal' damage done to her exo and reform destroyed plates in this manner. It is also suppose that metal and circuitry and other such materials are merely a preference - she could possibly assymilate bone, fabrics, even soft tissues and humors. She has not tried this, but her powers appear to shred things apart into energy.

Last, it is unclear what powers all of this. There are limits to her endurance, but they grow as she pushes them. Her own caution moderates this...

Character History: Edyth is an escaped Thanatos Inc. TRIM test subject, and she has returned to earth - what was once her home.
