the ice dragon. (open to serene crew members)

while traveling along the cold airs of orias was the serene's landing shuttle. gliding across the skies with its strange shape and grace, the ship was set on gathering water. the crew landed the ship on the ice in order to gather the water but when all of a sudden ice managed to fly into the generator of the ship and it was stuck defenceless in the ice.

---weapons activation....faile d-----

---defences....failed-----

normally the ship would not just freeze up like that with normal ice. it was a trap.
the ice in front of the ship began to split, the water began rising up like geisers, and the cracks began turning into fissures before the ship.
there seemed to be a dark appearance coming out of the cracks and all of a sudden a dragon rised from the fissures what was believed to be extinct.

the dragon looked fierce and its stance was amazing and scary for all members for the crew. all crew members left the ship to fight this giant beast and had no choice but to kill the dragon or die trying.

Rastaban thought the Serene was supposed to be capable of handling everything, but when he heard ice was slowing it down, he had to raise his eyebrows. Were they serious? Ice? Just how amazing is the Serene? However, as it turned out, the ship wasn't just downed by ice, but a creature made all of ice. An ice dragon? Rastaban frowned. I thought those were extinct. Something very fishy was going on. He stared through the windows of the ship at the beast. What a magnificent creature! As the crew began leaving the ship, he followed after them, although he had a different purpose in mind.

"Wait! Don't harm it! It's an endangered species on this planet! Maybe even one of a kind!" Most of the men were ignoring him. They were afraid of the enormous beast. But in Rastaban's eyes, if it was capable of bringing their spacecraft down in order to trap them, it was intelligent. Plus, all stories Rastaban knew of involved sentient dragons. They weren't mindless monsters. He didn't know what this dragon's story or purpose was, but he wasn't heading into battle without some knowledge of what he was fighting for--or against.

Skirting the crowds around him, Rastaban attempted to get the dragon's attention with his arms, waving them. "Dragon!" It was useless. The dragon's attention was currently on the swarm of men attacking it. Should have thought of a better way to get our attention, Dragon. Traps are dangerous things.
