Intram listened to Tore's imagined description of Roman and laughed hysterically. That or a rather muscular space pirate who secretly likes to dress in corsets, he thought. Intram was beside himself. "Oh man, I wish he could hear this!" He didn't look as creepy laughing as he did grinning, unless you took into account the fact that is looked so painful for someone so skinny to be laughing so hard.

Tore and Remi both seemed incredulous at Intram's lack of desire for food. “You’re not hungry?” said Remi with a repulsed look. The Candidate chimed in too. "Why'd you come to the cafeteria if you weren't hungry?"

He shrugged in reply. "Cafeteria food disgusts me," he said. "I came to hang out with you two." He smiled at Remi as the latter wiped his hands on his pants. If Intram ever wiped his hands on his pants after eating, well... he'd have a lot of dry-cleaning to pay for. "Don't tell me you hate me that much."

Remi finished outlining the rest of his Candidate's first-day itinerary, then turned to Intram. “I have work to do once I see Tore off, and I do believe you haven’t finished polishing all of Azrael’s spikes?” Intram grinned at him sarcastically. "Why, Remi! If I didn't know better, I'd say you were trying to get rid of me."

Tore was fully zoned into the plate of food. All he could think about was how to get in all in his digestive system without choking on it. After all, his natural food would have been wild plants and other shape-shifters. Not this... cafeteria food. What exactly did they put in it, anyway?

Mouthing the last bit of food, Tore nearly took the fork too when Remi squeezed his shoulder. "Homework? On the first day? That's sad" Tore said half-heartedly, pushing the tray away from himself as he also stood. "It's like... Swimming as fast as you can. It only stops when the parts you're changing have fully been formed and all that crap" he said. It was hard to explain to someone who had never changed their body shape.

Glad to be rid of the awkwardly small seat, Tore almost tripped on one of its legs as he went to move away from it. "I swear the chairs here hate me" he muttered, glaring at the piece of furniture. His tail gave a small flick to the left to show his annoyance. He didn't need to break his nose again.

Get rid of Intram? Tore wasn't sure of what to think about the pilot. He seemed fairly good natured towards all the leering and comments. But he was so damn creepy. Tore sighed. He supposed he had better be nice... for now. "It was... nice meeting you, Pilot Intram" Tore said rather formally. While he couldn't exactly call it nice, Intram hadn't done anything to make meeting him so bad either.

A hand ruffled through Tores interesting coloured hair and he spoke up and answered the question that was floating around his candidates brain. “ There’s all the vitamins we need in this food. It’s real… Just enhanced.” Remi tilted his head and smiled slightly, “No junk food for us.” He took a few steps away when Tore stood up and promptly tripped over a chair leg after complaining about the homework.

Silently he shook his head and pushed his sunflower yellow hair out of his face, “The chairs will have to learn to love you. Or you got go for grace and lean instead of… “Remi looked Tore up and down, “ bulk and meat.” A bright smile and he turned towards Intram and smiled again, “Aww, you know I only said that in your interest. Azrael gets mean when you don’t finish cleaning him.”

He pressed a hand between Tores shoulder blades and escorted him out of the cafeteria, over a brand new winding trail of hallways until they got to a long hall way, many long hallways actually, of doors. Remi closed his eyes for a moment and tilted his head to the side, as if listening to someone and then moved again, a few more doors down. They reached and Remi pushed the door open and gently ushered Tore into the room. “There, this is your home for the next four years.” He said seriously before leaving the room for a moment and returning with two books.

One was really thick, and the other was simple, and then there were a few loose-leaf sheets of paper, covered in notes. Messy, but legible. “Your things should be in here somewhere.” He looked around and then smiled again. “I suggest resting and reading up on your things. If you need me… “ Remi paused and pursed his lips, “Ask another candidate, they’ll be wearing a uniform, they all are, or find a another Pilot.” Then he looked off to the side, “If you need me specifically, save it until I see you next. Probably won’t be for a few more days. We’re not very involved with you while you’re a gracie.”

Remi gave him a quick pink coloured glare, “Get some sleep.” The door shut softly and his foot steps could be heard going down the hallway.

Remi seemed to have a special place in his heart for the ATC cafeteria food, and Intram had no idea why. “There’s all the vitamins we need in this food. It’s real… Just enhanced. No junk food for us.” He wrinkled his nose distastefully. "I admire your palate-adjustment skills, Remi. I simply can't stand it."

Intram watched Tore's reaction to Remi telling him he'd have homework. "Homework? On the first day? That's sad." He played with his hair nonchalantly. "I can think of worse things Pilots do to their Candidates on the first day... be grateful." He smiled at the fact that he hadn't even been talking about himself.

It was interesting to see someone as big as Tore attempt to negotiate the small chairs; he himself had always thought them fine, if a bit large. However, the Candidate seemed to be fighting with his. "I swear the chairs here hate me." Remi advised that Tore try and lose some weight. "Oh, don't give him an eating disorder, Remi. He'll wind up looking like me." He gave Tore a sympathetic look, quite aware that most people did not relish the thought of ever resembling him.

“Aww, you know I only said that in your interest." said Remi consoling somewhat insincerely, "Azrael gets mean when you don’t finish cleaning him.” Intram rolled his eyes. "In my defense, Azrael gets mean about a lot of things... but you're right. If I don't do it now, I'll forget." He turned to leave, back to the Dragon hold. "Bye, Remi! Nice meeting you, Tore," he said, walking leisurely back to the Dragon hold.

"I had no choice in the matter" Tore said dryly. It seemed pilots liked to pick on candidates. Or maybe just 6'4" shape-shifters with blue and purple hair. Either one would do, because Tore was in both of those catergories.

Before he had time to blink, he was being ushered out of the cafeteria and down a new complex trail of hallways. Yep, he knew he was going to get lost in this labrynth. It was a wonder that anyone could find their way around here without some sort of guide. He glanced down at Remi as he seemed to pause for a moment, like he was listening to something.

And then they were off again. Thankfully, it was only a few doors down. He looked around the room he had been ushered into. His two large bags of possessions sat next to what he assumed was his bed. At least it looked big enough to house his large... frame. "Fantastic" Tore said sarcastically. He took the books from Remi, looking over the covers with an unamused expression. He had never really been one to take to bookwork.

Tore mumbled an "OK" in response to Remi's instructions on the chance that Tore might need him for something. He looked up as Remi left, the door sliding shut behind him. With a sigh, Tore turned and placed the books on the side table. This place with so dull. Placing his hands on his hips and looking around, Tore decided he'd start unpacking his posters and other decorative things before he got some rest.
