Part 1: The Basics

1. What is your full name?
Dirge Riker.

2. Where and when were you born?
Teinar. 75 years ago.

3. Who are/were your parents?
My parents were Claudia and Dick Riker. They ran a parts and salvage shop in Teinar.

4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
Nope, only child.

5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
I live on my ship, the Indefatigable or Indy for short. By my self usually, crew come and go. Right now there’s a cute little girlie that I’m hoping will stay on and service my engine. Be my mechanic I mean. Heheheh…

6. What is your occupation? Officially I’m a trader.
Unofficially, smuggler and thief.

7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye colour, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
Um….well I’m 6’4”, which is rather tall. I’d describe myself as ruggedly muscular. I don’t weigh myself. I have grey hair and yellow eyes, which is due to my disease. I’m a werewolf. Yeah. Get over it. I dress in a lot of earthy colours, black, brown or red shirts, simple pants, and usually a brown trench coat.

8. To which social class do you belong?
Uh…this question is silly.

9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
I’m a werewolf, so I transform into a hulking beast bent on killing everyone if I get touched by the light of a full moon. Full earth moon I should say. So yeah, that’s a disease. It also renders me sterile, if you’re interested, which is a good thing. Saves me money for private time with the ladies.

10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Right.

11. What does your voice sound like?
Like waves crashing on jagged rocks, where naked virgins pleasure themselves to the beat of the sea. Seriously. I sound like a guy…yeesh.

12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
Uh….nothing in particular. I tend to give cute girls nicknames. Like kitten, or pigeon, duckling. That sort of thing.

13. What do you have in your pockets?
I’ve got something in my front pocket for yoouuuu. Why don’t you reach down in there, and see what it is?

14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Yes. It get’s annoying, but I’m really, really good in bed. It’s a curse I have to bear.

Part 2: Growing Up

15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
Nerdtacular.

16. What is your earliest memory?
Throwing up on my best friends dress when I was 6.

Plenty, what’s it to yah?

18. Did you enjoy school?
Actually...I did. Kinda.

I learned mechanics and piloting from my parents, how to shoot from my former captain, and everything else from doing it over and over until I figured it out.

20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.
My dad. He was so confident and such…

21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
Fine. Well…mostly fine. You know how it is with parents.

Exactly what I am. A sexy piece of man meat ~_^

23. As a child, what were your favourite activities?
Building stuff.

24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?
I was a skinny, nerdy little runt who couldn’t speak to cute girl without tripping over his own tongue.

25. As a child, were you popular?
Heh. Hell no.

26. When and with whom was your first kiss?
Gerty Milltrent. And I shudder at the memory. That girl seriously needed some corrective work.

27. Are you a virgin?
Ahaahahahahahahahah ahahahahahaha! Oh…oh….you made me cry from laughing so hard.

28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
I got bit when I was 25, on the arm, by a werewolf on Karnac, which is a desert planet far out. Hurt like a bitch. But within a week, I was the magnificent specimen you see today.

Part 3: Past Influences

29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?

No regrets. Live for the moment.

33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?

35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
When a freakin werewolf attacked me!

I won’t kill a man unless he tries to kill me. Or I’m trying to steal from him. Or I don’t like him. Or if there’s a woman.

Rape.

66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict? Um.. I THINK I avoid conflict.

67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations? I might. I’m not too sure, I’ll pay attention next time I’m in a social situation.

68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not? I love large groups! Even more when the attention isn’t on me,

69. Do you care what others think of you? Not really.  Well, I used to because of band popularity and image and what not… But now? No

76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit? I do none of the above! I’m a good boy.

77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night? I USED to be rocking out on stage, but now I’m sleeping. Gods I love sleeping.

78. What makes you laugh? … Good jokes?

79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?  Playing with other peoples feelings.

80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself? I’d… Write lyrics for songs that would never get sung.

81. How do you deal with stress? It bottles up and then I have a major freak out.

82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan? Spontaneous, baaaaby!

83. What are your pet peeves? Being told to be quiet. Being an underdog, someone else being the underdog, having to watch people be picked on… Um… And…. The toilet seat lid has to be down.

Part 7: Self Images And Etc.

84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted? I wake up, follow orders, hope to god I don’t get hurt then I go to bed… and I feel insanely happy when it gets distrupted.

85. What is your greatest strength as a person? I don’t follow the pack?

86. What is your greatest weakness?

87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted? …

89. Are you generally organized or messy? Organized!

91. Do you like yourself? I do and I don’t.

92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)

93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?   Not die before I’m thirty.

94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Hopefully not as a TRIM lab-rat and more of a Pilot.

95. If you could choose, how would you want to die? Quietly surrounded by loved ones.

96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left. Um… Kiss as many people as I could! Maybe have sex, and aaaah… Hmm.. Write a love song and send it to… someone!

97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death? For being the first singer of the Super Popular Industrial Band Indigenous Fairy.

98. What three words best describe your personality?  Um…  Imaginative, Hyper, Kind?

99. What three words would others probably use to describe you? Loud, Unusual, Cocky.

100. If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...)

…Don’t change! Everyone loves you for who you are! Though, maybe lose the cocky. |:

Fala: Bitch Extraordinaire (x3)

Part 1: The Basics

1. What is your full name?
Fala Mauburin. My parents didn’t give me a middle name, but I suppose I’m fine without one.

2. Where and when were you born?
Downtown, actually, in quite the cozy little apartment- my parents always bitched that it was too cramped for their liking, though. They delivered a delightful little accident about twenty-four years ago.

3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
Alaris Mauburin, my mother, worked in the city as a kitchen sanitation officer (that’s janitor, pretty much, for you non work-savvy folks) for one of the more popular seafood restaurants in the area. My pop, Icthenus Mauburin, was a repairman for basic kitchen appliances. They met on their break, really- a mellow woman, slightly rounded at the edges, soon fell in love with the greasy, hard-working man, and the rest is history. Or, rather… one lusty afternoon created this little accident, and they were forced to marry, but they did love each other, at least. So I guess it worked out.

4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
No siblings. Good thing, too- if one of ‘em was a psychic that was sent to TRIM, I’m not sure I would have persevered through the Pilot program.

5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
I’ve got my own place in the Citadel- nice, cozy area, really. Can’t say I’m fond of large, open living quarters like some of the others are, so I fill it up with all sorts of junk to hide all that open space. Emptiness makes me a touch nervous, I guess.

6. What is your occupation?
Pilot. ‘Nuff said, right?

7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
…What the hell? Why not just make it simple? I’m human, 5’6, curvy. I’ve got a ruby visor, white gloves and boots that are longer than they should be, a sheer skirt, skintight blue body suit, and a gray tank top that ties in with a pseudo-cape extension. My hair’s short and green, and my eyes are blue. No tattoos, though I’ve been thinking about getting one. See, that wasn’t so difficult, was it? D< Longer isn’t always better. Though it usually is. ;p

8. To which social class do you belong?
Pilot Cardinal. It isn’t too high on the power ladder, but I’m fine with where I stand.

9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
Ugh. I love eating crab, but I swear someone up there is laughing at me- I’m allergic. I’m also allergic to mold and peanuts, and can’t say I’m fond of those. >.> No physical defects that I know of, and no chronic illnesses.

10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Right-handed.

11. What does your voice sound like?
I hear that I constantly sound snide. My voice isn’t nearly as high pitched as other female Pilots, but you certainly can’t call it deep, either. Just… strong, I guess, would be the right word for it. Geez, what kind of question is this, anyway?

12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
Informal slang. Can’t help it, I’m afraid.

13. What do you have in your pockets?
Pockets? Dear, I don’t have pockets on this outfit.

14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I arch my eyebrows a lot. More than I should, I think. I also like leaning my weight backwards on my hips, putting my hand on ‘em while I focus my weight on them instead of my feet.

Part 2: Growing Up

15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
For me? Hilarious and exhilarating. For my parents, though, it was probably a slice of hell. I was an awful child in terms of discipline, but I had a blast.

16. What is your earliest memory?
Getting tested for psychic prowess. I still have no idea what emotion is supposed to go with purple, either… :/

17. How much schooling have you had?
Let’s see… pretty much everything from preschool to a college sort of education from the Pilot program itself. I figure the mechanics training’s enough to match a traditional mechanic outside of the program, so I can consider that a pseudo-major. :D

18. Did you enjoy school?
No. Not until physical education rolled around, anyway. I can do homework, but screw tests- can’t stand ‘em.

19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
My mentor, for better or for worse.

20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.
There was this one teacher in my preschool that just seemed so cool, at the time. She’d just sit back, do whatever she wanted, and let us go about her own business. So long as we didn’t step on her toes, she didn’t step on ours. I admired her ability to just sit back and do absolutely nothing, yet command such respect from us and get paid, day in and day out. I wanted to be her, when I got older.

21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
Well enough, I think. I did make a mess of things and was a rebellious little shit, but isn’t every kid at some point?

22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a gymnast, at first. Then I started sculpting, and wanted to be an artist. Both of those dreams died pretty fast. :/ But I still get to practice both, so it’s not so bad.

23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?
I used to love running around, playing, harassing the boys, and most of all, racing- nothing got the blood racing like a good foot race. I also loved playing bloody knuckles.

24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?
Hyperactivity, rebelliousness… the usual for kids. I can say that I was a social butterfly, though, and loved going from one group to the next.

25. As a child, were you popular?
Hm… depends who you talked to. I had lots of friends, back then, but at the same time, they were all in different caste groups, and didn’t often interact. So while I had many friends, I was also treated strangely because I didn’t look at caste lines.

26. When and with whom was your first kiss?
Um… see, that’s kind of complicated. I know it was when I was sixteen, at a party with friends. There was a lot of alcohol involved, and, well, I don’t quite remember most of what happened. I DO remember waking up and realizing I wasn’t a virgin anymore, and the insensitive prick that had done it was uglier than a piece of maggot-infested meat. D< So I made up for it the next day by screwing his much hotter brother, and sharing a kiss then that I actually remembered.

27. Are you a virgin?
Hell no! D< I’m almost offended. Think I can’t get laid by this age?

28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
Hm. Life. No, seriously. I grew up rebellious, hyper, open, and friendly, and got that beaten and molded through the candidate program to become more mature, responsible, and professional. Being a Pilot allowed me to loosen up, where my openness and sarcasm came back, along with a touch of rebelliousness and brashness that comes with far too much combat exposure.

Part 3: Past Influences

29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
The ascension to the Pilot rank was by far my most life-changing event. Never have I felt so freaking relieved.

30. Who has had the most influence on you?
My mentor. He was a real bastard, but it helped me out in the long run. I still don’t like him, though. D<

31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Getting a Candidate. You might be tired of this answer, but I’ll be damned if it’s not the best feeling in the world to get one before others of my own rank.

32. What is your greatest regret?
I wish I had gotten along better with my parents before fully immersing myself into the program. It’s like they hardly know me anymore, and it troubles me a bit.

33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?
...Evil? I work in the military. Evil is relative. To those outside my line of work, though, I’d have to say that procuring information via torture would be considered ‘evil’. I call it national security, others call it vile torture- potayto, potahto.

34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?
Somewhat. I shoplifted quite a bit when I was small, but my record was cleared and my charges cleared when I was put into the military.

35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
The first time that my mentor truly beat the crap out of me. I remember having shaken for days.

36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
Getting caught engaging in foreplay with a man by my parents while wearing only a black lace thong and bra is pretty high up there. It was slightly worse when Jorinth had tried speaking to me while I was actually having sex, which meant that for a split second, he felt it, too. Freaked him out for weeks, embarrassed me for only a few minutes, and got me locked out of the Network for almost a month. Embarrassing, but totally worth it. >3

37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?
I’d want a different mentor. D< I hear the others were tightwads, too, but this guy really had a stick shoved way too far up his ass. Frick, had I the choice, I’d have vastly preferred Roman!

38. What is your best memory?
Getting my very first Candidate. Though I’d tried to cheat my way out of it, meeting the kid was one of the most pleasant surprises I’ve ever had. I’ve never felt more proud in my life.

39. What is your worst memory?
Candidacy. The entirety of it.

Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions

40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
Pessimistic. You can’t be too careful in the military- best to err on the side of caution.

41. What is your greatest fear?
Being left alone. I can’t stand being left alone- I’m not sure what it is- but the emptiness of everything and the thought of having absolutely no one frightens me to death. I’m assuming it’s because Alden only came in to mess with me when other Pilots weren’t around.

42. What are your religious views?
No religion. I find I just can’t find the time to bother with it.

43. What are your political views?
Aedolis rocks, the rest can suck our cocks. Woot, rhyme! >3

44. What are your views on sex?
It’s fun! Definitely takes the edge off of stress.

45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
I have to- it’s my job. There’s nothing unacceptable when it’s an order.

46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?
Rape and murder a small child. That’s never in a job description, and there’s never a reason for it.

47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
No, I don’t. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t hopeful, though.

48. What do you believe makes a successful life?
Being remembered- leaving some sort of legacy. Even if it means torturing the hell out of someone to get them to remember you as an evil bastard, it’s better than dying as a completely unknown person.

49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?
I’m pretty open, unless someone’s frickin’ left me alone. Then I have to hide my fear to the best of my abilities. If I don’t like someone, sometimes I’ll hold my tongue. Not often, though. I do confess to enjoy concocting embarrassing future events behind people’s backs, though. >3

50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?
Yes. Men are stupid, unless they’re in bed. Then, at least, they’re thinking with the more useful of their two heads.

51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?
I refuse to get involved romantically with a woman. The mere thought creeps me out.

52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?
Huh… I’m not sure, to be honest. I haven’t given enough thought to it. Jorinth is a given- I’d die for him any day- but I’m not sure if I could exactly pinpoint anyone else in particular. The other Pilots in the program have kind of grown on me, you know?

Part 5: Relationships With Others

53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
Ha. I’m a total snot to all of ‘em, and I think they’ve learned to accept that. Sarcasm’s the norm. I do treat one particular Pilot differently, though- he’s like a lil’ brother to me. Probably because we’re the same age, but more likely that he’s grown on me to an extent that the others haven’t quite hit, yet. He’s like a wayward kid brother, and I feel the need to tease him just a little bit more than the others. ;p I do feel oddly protective of him, though. As for Marshal, it’s just a lusty liaison… I think.

54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
Currently, Alikhaara. …No, you sick bastards, not like that. D< He’s a platonic, primary focus of my life right now, and quite important in that how I do with him will dictate my professional standing, in the long run. I’d be lying if I said that the experience won’t be fun, though. I sure as hell wouldn’t put my life in his hands, though. He’s not THAT important.

55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
Roman. A man that can cook, scare the crap out of Candidates just by staring at them (after… you know… THE incident.), tolerate Gabriel sucking on his finger, and being totally cool with us while being a hardass when it’s time to work? That man’s got some serious coping skills, and I admire him for it. This life’s not for everyone, but he still manages to thrive amidst the stress of it all.

56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people.
I find that my friends… if one could call them all that… are fairly eccentric. Gabriel, for one, cracks me up and makes me feel almost like a kid again. A kid with a very perverse sense of humor, but a kid nonetheless- being around him actually makes me forget my job, for a little bit. Vaughan- that sly little devil- I’ve only talked to on the blogs, but he’s amused me quite a bit, too! Maybe we’ll share our X-rated collections, one day. Then there’s my candidate, Alik- kid can make a mean cup of joe, if what he boasts about is really that good (haven’t tested it, yet), and has a contagious smile. Cheeky fellah though he is, he reminds me a lot of myself when I was younger, and I can’t help but like him. His candidacy will be a lot better than mine, I’ll make sure of it.

57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person.
For the time being, the significant other is Marshal- twelve years older than me, fairly thin, just as perverted as myself, and a Seeker, to boot. More of an experiment, for now- brains vs. brawn, really.

58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
I haven’t been. I’m on the verge of saying it’ll never happen, but you never know.

59. What do you look for in a potential lover?
Do they look good, or will I have to put a paper bag over their head? If I can win them over in less than an hour and I can bear looking at them while we’re doing the deed, they’re good enough for a one-nighter.

60. How close are you to your family?
Not very. My mum may send me a letter once in a blue moon, but other than that, it’s just a photo on a desk.

61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?
Uh. No. Having babies kills a woman’s figure, and the last thing I need in my line of work is a kid!

62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?
Interpersonal help? Gabriel. Mission/fighting help? Roman. Political advice? Soren, if I can freaking get a hold of him. If I’m feeling desperate for attention? Marshal. Question maker, you need to be a lot more freakin’ specific. D<

63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?
I trust most of the Pilots to protect me, as I’d protect them… in a mission scenario, anyway. If it’s a Pilot-to-Pilot fight, I expect no help- it’s like watching siblings fight. You don’t take a side, you just try to break it up. Same shit.

64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you?
...I’m not sure. I’m hoping someone in the Pilot program would, but I can’t be certain. Wow, that’s kind of an unsettling thought… :/

65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why?
I may be a bitch, but I don’t actually hate many people. Dislike? Sure. Despise? Nah- too strong a word, really.  Can’t be bothered. I’m not a fan of Dyerlich, though- reminds me too much of Alden. Ooh, that’s it. Almost forgot about him. I hate Alden’s guts. D<

66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
Argue- no sense backing down if you can win, right? Makes for an interesting time-killer, too.

67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
Pssh, no. I hate taking the lead.

68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?
Depends on whether they appreciate crude humor or not. If they don’t, and they’re not into orgies, then hell, I’m not interested. Also, if I can’t count the number of people in a room and we’re not at a dance club or strip joint, then I’m not game for that, either. I like groups to be small and manageable.

69. Do you care what others think of you?
Nah. Too much trouble to keep track of who hates me and who likes me.

Part 6: Likes And Dislikes

70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?
I like sculpting, when I’m in the mood for it. :3 I work in clay and metal castings, depending on my mood. Since it’s so hard to get, I don’t bother messing with wood.

71. What is your most treasured possession?
My visor. It’s very comfortable, and I’ve had it since my ascension into the Pilot rank. Jorinth gave it to me. <3

72. What is your favorite color?
Forest green.

73. What is your favorite food?
I love most seafood. Don’t like halibut, though- too soft.

74. What, if anything, do you like to read?
Historical fiction.

75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?
I love dancing quite a bit, and love listening to techno and rock. Classical’s only good if I have a headache. If a man ever takes me to look at paintings, I’ll punt him in the nose- I can’t stand looking at silent, non-moving pieces of art unless it’s a damn good statue. Movies are all right, so long as they’re not romance.

76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?
I drink socially, but not alone. Can’t stand smoking myself, but I don’t care about the smell on others. Their business, not mine.

77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
If I’m not drinking with bar mates, I’m probably on the Network, coasting the blogs in my spare time.

78. What makes you laugh?
Any behavior that’s unexpected- depravity or sarcasm’s pretty high on that list.

79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?
Shocks? Offends? I’m in a Pilot, sweetie. Takes a lot to do that.

80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
Oh, I’d probably go and mess with Jorinth. Doesn’t happen often, though- I sleep fairly well, I’d say.

81. How do you deal with stress?
Either screw someone, punch a wall, fight another Pilot, or get onto the Network. Sleeping just doesn’t relieve stress at all, for me.

82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?
Spontaneous. Plans are for rigid missions and such, but not for normal routines. If I plan ahead, it’s only a day or so, and usually no more than that.

83. What are your pet peeves?
My top peeve? Prudes. I hate prudes, plastic chairs (seriously, who likes them? Damn uncomfortable things…), foreigners that expect ME to speak THEIR languages, and psychics that only use words rather than empathic expression. Yes, I’m bitter that I can’t send words. Problem?

Part 7: Self Images And Etc.

84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?
Wake up. Brush teeth, get dressed. Do shit. There’s no routine whatsoever.

85. What is your greatest strength as a person?
I’m thick-skinned. Call me a whore if you want, it’s not going to phase me.

86. What is your greatest weakness?
I don’t like being alone, or in an area with no one I know. EVER. Makes me nervous, edgy, and definitely unable to function. Which gets kinda messy, during space missions. :/

87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I’d like to be able to stand up just a little bit taller than my own Candidate. :/ Is it petty? Yeah. But it bugs the shit out of me to have to keep looking up at my own student! D<

88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
Very extroverted. Introverts bug me- I like to see everything a person has to offer, since I pretty much wear my frickin’ heart on my sleeve.

89. Are you generally organized or messy?
At work? Organized. Off-duty, though, I’m very messy. I could almost lose a dragon in my room, for instance. I figure it’s my time to relax and put all the military cleanliness behind me.

90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
I’m good at melee fighting, piloting (very much so, if I do say so myself!), and drinking the night away without getting a hangover. Can’t cook, sew, or brew a cup of coffee to save my life.

91. Do you like yourself?
Eh. I guess. What kind of a question is that?

92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)
…Heroic? Ha! I just do what I’m told, and just chill out, otherwise.

93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
I want someone to remember me. I don’t care if it’s as, “That slutty broad” or as “That heroic Pilot who (insert deed here)”- I just don’t want to go out alone, so to speak. If someone gives a damn enough to remember, I’m fine with it.

94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Still here. Still doing the same job. Still harassing the same people.

95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
In a blaze of glory, taking out the enemy! That’s the way to go. I do not want to die old and senile.

96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.
I’d pass Alik on to Gabriel or Marshal, tell everyone what I really think of them (Pssh, as if I hide it, most of the time.), and hook up to the Network until my time was up.

97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
I don’t care. Just... anything.

98. What three words best describe your personality?
Brash, open, lusty. >p

99. What three words would others probably use to describe you?
Probably the same damn thing. :p

100. If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...)
…Fala? Please close your legs. You’re going to catch something. D:

Part 1: The Basics

1.   What is your full name?

Gabriel Matthew Tierney.

2.   Where and when were you born?

24 years ago in a hospital in Haviah on October 20th at 9:28 AM! Whew.

3.   Who are/were your parents?  (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)

My dad’s name is Marcus and he’s a retired doctor now, great guy, always so warm and cheery and a genuine people-person. Guess that’s where I got it. My mom’s name is Caitlyn, sweet lady, great sense of humor, works as a secretary still. I love ‘em both to death.

4.   Do you have any siblings?  What are/were they like?

Yup! Got a little sister named Rachel. She’s 18, pretty spunky, not a geek like me ‘cause that’s so uncool. She’s more of a prep but I love her anyway. <3 I was at least able to get her into video games. She likes the dating sims. |: But I’ll take what I can get.

5.   Where do you live now, and with whom?  Describe the place and the person/people.

I live in the Citadel with the other Pilots, who are all insane. <3 But I love ‘em anyway, they’re my family and I trust ‘em with my life. Most of them.

6.   What is your occupation?

Pilot Echo. Yup. I fight and keep the peace and all that, yo. Oh yeah, and I do some techie stuff. I’m good with a computer. Not hacking or anything, but I can do database stuff and coding and whatnot. Mentoring is another job, you could say. I mentor two cute candidates. <3

7.   Write a full physical description of yourself.  You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.

Weird question but alright! I’m 5’11”, pretty dark skinned—it’s natural—with blonde hair—also natural--and green eyes—naturally! Hair’s short and spikey-ish in the back but long in the front with bangs and side-bangs that go down a little past my jaw. Also I’m quite handsome. <3 Er…I wear a lot of different stuff. Like more punky clothes the best though, but I like comfortable things, jeans, band shirts, I’m down with just hanging out in sweats and socks. You won’t ever see me in a suit, though. I like more quirky and interesting clothes, stuff with zippers that are only decoration, pockets you can’t actually use, safety pins, patches, loops and chains. And color! Color is good. Um…oh yeah. I have a tattoo. >_> On the lower left side of my stomach. Three little stars. Shh. I got ‘em while drunk, I swear.

8.   To which social class do you belong?

Higher than upper caste. I’mma Pilot! Pilot Echo to be exact. So I’m not the algae, but I’m not the lion, either. On the Pilot food chain ladder I mean.

9.   Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?

*sigh* I’m very allergic to sea food. |: So now you know. If you want an easy way to kill me, just slip me some tuna and I’ll swell like a balloon.

10.   Are you right- or left-handed?

Righty.

11.   What does your voice sound like?

Sexy. |:

12.   What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?

>_> Apparently I use “totally” a lot. And pet names and nicknames and internet slang and stuff. Oh yeah, and “stuff”. And I say “for cereal” a lot instead of “for real” or “for serious”, which has rubbed off on Roman, much to my joy!

13.   What do you have in your pockets?

Lesse, in my right pocket I got my cell phone, a crumpled up receipt from the coffee shop, aaand…lint. In my left pocket I got a safety pin and an earring for some reason—oh, right, took mine out. Now back pockets! Empty. Pockets along the legs of my pants…hmm, got a stolen pen (shhh!) on the right side, and on the left side, empty! Let’s see…okay, these pockets here don’t do anything…and…aw, forget it. If there’s anything else in my pockets, I’ll find them in the washer.

14.   Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?

I’m gravitationally pulled toward loners. Seriously. I see someone looking all lonely and quiet and I have to go bug them and cheer them up. I have to get the last word. |: I can’t shut up even when I know I’ve already put my foot in my mouth. I bite my nails. >_>

Part 2: Growing Up

15.   How would you describe your childhood in general?

Happy! A little lonely, though. Parents worked long hours so I was home alone a lot watching my sis. But it was a good one. Got parents that love me, they provided everything they could for me ‘n’ Rachel and made a lot of sacrifices for us. I had a lot of friends but I couldn’t always go out and just do stuff since I had to watch the kid. Sometimes that didn’t stop me—I’d just bring her along with us. But shhh. >_>

16.   What is your earliest memory?

Being sad because I went to visit my grandma and left Spot at home. ;_; Spot’s my plush Dalmatian. <3

17.   How much schooling have you had?

I almost made it through high school before I got pulled out and shipped off to the ATC. Just had one more year. D8 But that’s just the normal schooling. Technically I’ve had a buttload of schooling if you count my candidacy. I’m very ejumuhcated! <3

18.   Did you enjoy school?

High school and stuff? Heck yeah! I liked the social scene! Homework? Heck no. I was a lazy bum more concerned with socializing than doing well in school and I hated homework and tests and got kicked out of the classrooms a lot for goofing off and not paying attention. |:

19.   Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?

Roman.

20.   While growing up, did you have any role models?  If so, describe them.

My dad. 8D Cheesy as that is, I always looked up to him. Always so confident and I really respected what he did, helping people like that, even if it kept him away from home a lot working insane hours. Then there’s Roman. |: I mean as a candidate I frickin’ hated him, but you kinda learn to respect the guy that holds your life in his hand and he taught me so much. Still does.

21.   While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?

Fantastically. I mean sure we had our squabbles, but nothing really major, y’know?

22.   As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

An astronaut.

23.   As a child, what were your favorite activities?

I loved dodgeball. And video games of course. <3

24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?

Y’know those kids that are always asking “why?” Yeah, I was that kid.

25. As a child, were you popular?

I dunno if popular is the right word. I was in the geek clique. But I got around. I’m a social butterfly and even back then I could pick up a conversation with anyone and I was the class clown, too, but I wouldn’t say I was popular. A lot of people knew me, but I also annoyed a lot of people and got beat up a couple of times sooo…

26. When and with whom was your first kiss?

Think I was like 15. Took this girl on a date. All I really remember about the kiss is that tongues are slimy and her braces cut my lip. :

27. Are you a virgin?

Uh…I’ve…experimented a little and stuff but…yes. Be quiet. >_>

28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities.  If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.

At 17 I got thrown into the Pilot candidate program and mentored by the hellion that is Roman. It took many beatdowns and lotsa frustration and insanity but finally I got control over my powers, got responsibility beaten into me, and got picked by a dragon and became a Pilot. 8D!

Part 3: Past Influences

29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?

Getting tossed into the Pilot program at 17. Life-changing experience, it was. I’d say getting picked by my dragon, but getting tossed into the program is where it all began.

30. Who has had the most influence on you?

Roman. He made me who I am today and if not for him, well, I probably would have wound up in TRIM, probably dead by now. There. I admitted it. >_> No one’s gonna see this, right?

31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Becoming a Pilot and getting candidates of my own to teach. <3

32. What is your greatest regret?

No regrets, they’re all a learning experience.

33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?

Can’t say I’ve done anything evil. Everything I’ve done has been entirely within the law (never mind that I am the law) and necessary.

34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?

I was a pain in the butt, but I was a goody-goody.

35. When was the time you were the most frightened?

I can think of a few times…when I was a candidate, I was scared a lot. Like pretty much the whole time. Am I gonna fail, am I gonna pass? Am I gonna come out of this in one piece? Am I still gonna be me if I do make it? Eugh. I was scared when I learned about Providence dying and Temple going missing, not knowing what happened to him, no one else seeming to care. I was scared about the Axis Point because I’d never been through it before and didn’t know what to expect—except that I knew it was gonna hurt like hell. >_> I’m kinda a wimp when it comes to pain.

36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?

Guh. One thing? I could fill whole books! The most recent one would prooobably be sucking on Roman’s fingers and getting it caught on camera…-___-;; Okay, for the record guys? THAT WAS NOT KINKY, MMKAY?! I was trying to weird him out, alright? That’s IT! Jeebus crackers! It’s context, not subtext!

37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?

Can’t say I’d change anything. : Sure, bad stuff happens, but it’s all for a reason, right? If I changed anything, I wouldn’t be who I am now and wouldn’t have all the experience and knowledge I got. So nah. I wouldn’t change anything. I got my regrets of course, but I’ll keep ‘em. (:

38. What is your best memory?

Getting chosen by Siren, my dragon. I’ve never felt so relieved and free in my life. Oh, and hanging out with the other Pilots just goofing off and being normal. Talking to my candidates and teaching them, letting them see that not all Pilots are out to get them and being constantly surprised by them. Those always make for good memories.

39. What is your worst memory?

The whole time I was a candidate. |: That was a long and painful four years.

Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions

40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?

Optimistic! When you hit rock bottom, the only way out is up!

41. What is your greatest fear?

Got a few. Being alone is one. I’ve always been around people so being cut off and alone makes me nervous. Two, I want my candidates to pass. I don’t know what I’d do if either Alaina or Vaughan didn’t make it. I’ll admit it, the thought keeps me awake some nights, but…I wouldn’t have taken any candidates if I didn’t think I couldn’t get them through the program. Hrm. So I guess you could say my biggest fear is losing people. It’s kinda part of the job, sacrifices and stuff, but it still scares me. Three…that Temple’s dead.

42. What are your religious views?

Hum…never really gave it much thought, to be honest. I mean I believe in life after death. Maybe it’s pathetic, but it makes some things easier. I don’t really think there’s some old man or fat lady in the sky spying on me in the shower and judging me or anything, though. Eww. *shudder* Guess I kinda believe in gods, but they’re more like spirits and don’t really care what you do, y’know? Live and let live or something like that.

43. What are your political views?

I am THE LAW. Aedolis forevah, long live Soren, all hail the Dragons, w00t w00t. Something like that. 8D

44. What are your views on sex?

Don’t do it ‘til you’re ready and always use protection? *thumbs up*

 45. Are you able to kill?  Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?

If it’s an order, I’ll do it. If it’s part of the job, I’ll do it. If it’s to defend my life or another’s life, I’ll do it. I don’t think I could kill a kid, though. They’re innocent. I couldn’t kill a friend or family member. :

46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?
Hurt a child.

47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?

Nah…it’s too fatalistic to me. I don’t believe in fate or destiny. I’m in control of my own life and it’s not all mapped out in advance. So soul mates, nah, not in /that/ sense. But true love? Falling for someone head over heels? Yeah, definitely. (: …Also I am NOT a hopeless romantic. >_>

48. What do you believe makes a successful life?

Being happy with yourself and doing whatever you can, big or small, to make a difference in the world. Even if you don’t succeed, trying is enough.

49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?

I pretty much wear my emotions on my sleeve. (: I never was the quiet type and if I feel something, I let people know. You piss me off, you’ll know it. You make me happy, you’ll know it! <3 But I guess I hide some stuff…I mean, most people just see my dorky, happy side, y’know? There aren’t a lot of people I feel comfortable being openly sad around, plus I just don’t like bringing other people down. (: Oh, and my candidates don’t really see the real me, I guess. I put on a more ‘professional’, Pilot-y face for them.

50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?

Not that I can think of…

51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances?  Why do you refuse to do it?

Most things that involve me getting naked. |: I’m not flashing my goods to the world.

52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?

Sure. :3 Any of my friends or family, in a heartbeat. I mean, granted, dying wouldn’t be my first choice, I wanna live thanks, but I can think of a number of people I’d risk my life for and give it for if it came down to it. Roman, Temple, Seiteki, Satori, Alaric, Fala, Vaughan, Alaina…I’d give my life for Aedolis. I mean, that’s my job.

Part 5: Relationships With Others

53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)?  Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?

Like a friend. :3 Unless someone gives me a reason not to like them, I see no reason not to like them. I make friends easily, anyone’s fair game! It seems like I’m most attracted to the anti-social/reserved/uptight ones, though. O_o Roman, Temple, Seiteki…I kinda gravitate towards them. I guess because the social ones don’t need any help, and they look so sad and lonely like they need a friend the most. ^^ Once I get close to someone I get more casual and comfortable with them, trust them more, probably give out some TMI here and there.

If I don’t like someone (I can’t stand bullies, for instance) then they get to be the butt of all my complaints. If I don’t like you, you and everyone else will know it, and you’ll know exactly why, too. <3

54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?

Uh…a lot of people…

55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?

Roman. He got me where I am.

56. Who are your friends?  Do you have a best friend?  Describe these people.

Sure! Alaric was one of the first close friends I made as a candidate and he’s one of my best friends. Temple is also one of my best friends who I also met early in my candidacy. Seiteki’s another close friend, like an older, wiser sister to me, and I consider Fala to be a friend, too…only she’s the bratty sister that picks on me constantly. I don’t know Wulf too well, but he’s friendly and I dig him. And Roman…goes without saying. |: I’d never admit it out loud, but I consider him to be one of my closest friends, too—even if we do bicker endlessly.

57. Do you have a spouse or significant other?  If so, describe this person.

Nope!

58. Have you ever been in love?  If so, describe what happened.

I can honestly say I love a lot of people, but I don’t think I’ve been in love.

59. What do you look for in a potential lover?

‘_’ I…don’t know…but I guess I’d want someone who’s just one step up from being a friend. Someone who is a friend, someone I trust and respect and get the same back in return, someone who’s different enough that it keeps things interesting but that there’s still some common ground there, too. Someone I can be me around, someone who can put up with me, someone I can talk to about whatever, whether it’s deep or just randomness. >_> That’s so corny.

60. How close are you to your family?

Very close! <3 I visit when I got the time and call ‘em at least once a week.

61. Have you started your own family?  If so, describe them.  If not, do you want to?  Why or why not?

Nope. Er, being a Pilot isn’t exactly family friendly. And even if I find someone, while I love kids, I wouldn’t wanna adopt any or anything. Wouldn’t be fair to them, I’m not exactly a stellar role-model, and I don’t wanna be a dad. I already have enough responsibility and I wanna have fun while I can without being tied down.

62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?

Hmm…depends! If I’m at my wit’s end and freaking out, I’d go to Roman. He has a lot of experience and I feel comfortable talking to him about a bunch of stuff; out of everyone, he knows me the best. He was my mentor after all. If I need help with interpersonal stuff, I’d go to Seiteki. She wise and doesn’t judge me and I know she can keep a secret.

63. Do you trust anyone to protect you?  Who, and why?

Roman, Alaric, and Seiteki. >_> Why? Roman’s tough and I trust him. He got me where I am today and he’s always playing mother hen. He’s really not as scary as he acts, he’s got a squishy center. Alaric’s always looking out for me, too. Even offered to punish my candidates so I don’t have to be the bad guy and get hurt. ‘_’ And Seiteki…she’s kinda like another sister to me, an older and wiser one.

64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you?

I hope I’d be missed by someone. I guess I’m a little paranoid. I have friends, lotsa people I’m close to…I mean, I’d imagine Roman, Seiteki, and Alaric would miss me maybe, but…I guess the whole thing with Temple has made me question if I really would be missed ‘cause I think I’m the only one who genuinely misses him. Pilots are replaceable…

65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why?

Currently? Marshal. |: It changes on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis. Not a big fan of Valmont or Dyerlich, either. Grumpy stiffs. Psh.

66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?

*coughs* >_> Argue. I don’t know when to shut up.

67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?

Yeah, I’m a major leader there. :3 I tend to be the one initiating conversations and motivating/pestering/poking people into doing stuff with me.

68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people?  Why or why not?

Yes! Love it! I love the energy and insanity of a big crowd and it’s impossible to feel lonely there. I like seeing people happy and having fun. I equally love small interactions, though. Large groups are for having lotsa crazy fun, but one-on-one is more personal and you can really get to know people well that way.

69. Do you care what others think of you?

…Yeah. : I’d like to say I don’t, but I’ll admit it, I wanna be liked.

Part 6: Likes And Dislikes

70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?

Gaming. <3

71. What is your most treasured possession?

Spot! <3 My plush dalmation. And my computer, Moe. Moe is awesome. Gotta be respectin’ the Moester.

72. What is your favorite color?

Dark red. Like bloooood. It’s pretty!

73. What is your favorite food?

Apple pie. *_* But on a non-dessert level, I love pasta.

74. What, if anything, do you like to read?

Lotsa stuff! Gamer magazines, fantasy novels, art books (can’t draw worth dirt but I like the pretty pictures), the Pilot and Candidate blogs, webcomics…y’know, stuff like that!

75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?

Concerts and movies and going to clubs! 8D I like going out and doing stuff and being around the hustle and bustle of the city. I’m open to pretty much anything.

76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs?  If so, why?  Do you want to quit?

Naaah…I’m addicted to enough stuff as it is. The Network and caffeine. I don’t need any other addictions, especially since The Network addiction could like…kill me. Hm…oh, I lied. I’ll have a drink now and then at a party and I’ve been drunk. I’ll admit it, I cave to peer pressure. |: That’s my excuse.

77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?

Usually I go see if any of my friends wanna go do something, see a concert, catch a movie, hit the town, just get OUT. Or if they don’t wanna go out, if they just wanna hang out at someone’s place and chill, watch a movie, play a game, stuff like that. If everyone’s busy, I’ll just occupy myself and go out alone. *shrug*

78. What makes you laugh?

Lotsa stuff! Funny things! Dur! <3

79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?

Abuse. : Like…I get smacking someone around to teach ‘em, but having /fun/ smacking someone around, and doing it for no reason but that? What the heck? Some of the things my buddies joke about “shocks” and “offends”, too, like candidate rape and stuff. -__-;; Pffft.

80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?

Text Roman a bajillion times to complain about it. Spamming him with text messages always makes me feel oddly satisfied.

81. How do you deal with stress?

I listen to music, play a game, surf the ‘net, or read. Anything to get my mind off it. If I can’t do that, like if I’m heading out to war or something, I just…daydream. Try and think about other things, keep calm.

82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?

Pffft, I’m totally spontaneous. I hardly ever plan out a thing before I do it. I live life by the seat of my pants.

83. What are your pet peeves?

One word: Gaybriel. |: And getting picked on. Seriously, when I can’t say one thing without everyone being all “TEEHEE UR SO GHEY!!!1” it gets really lame. I also hate when people look over my shoulder when I’m typing, chew with their mouth open (>_> mom gave me some manners), people who talk during movies, and forks scraping across plates…*shudder*

Part 7: Self Images And Etc.

84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you.  How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?

Get up. Eat, shower, brush teeth, do work and pester people, go to bed. No real routine because something’s always coming up it seems, and I don’t mind when my “routine” is disrupted. I’m spontaneous as it is, after all—oh, wait, I care when it’s disrupted by something bad. |: Like, y’know, getting sent to war or terrorists or something. That sucks.

85. What is your greatest strength as a person?

I think my persistence.

86. What is your greatest weakness?

 …My persistence. >_>

87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Nothing. If I changed anything, I wouldn’t be me. <3

88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?

You kidding? Super extroverted. I’m magnetically attracted to introverts so I can try and extrovert them. <3

89. Are you generally organized or messy?

I’m comfy! Pretty organized, my place is nice and neat, but I like stuff to look lived in, y’know? So I’m organized, but not like…Roman. I used to be a slob until he happened, too.

90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.

Good at: getting people to do things they wouldn’t do on their own, psychic stuffs, pwning people at video games.

Bad at: being a hardass, backing down from a challenge, holding my tongue.

91. Do you like yourself?

What’s not to love? <3

92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)?  Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public?  (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)

Uh…well, my main reason to be honest is I didn’t have a choice, originally. But I /do/ have a choice as to how I deal with this whole thing, so I’m gonna make the best of it and try and make things better for other people in the process. :3 Candidates, for instance. So many people are so hard on them and they’re scared to death, poor things. T^T

93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?

Make some successful Pilots. Live to be old. Make Roman chillax. Get Seiteki to open up. Find Alaric a date. Make Temple smile more. Get Vaughan in another band somehow. Have fun. :3

94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Being a proud mother hen celebrating the anniversary of Alaina and Vaughan being Pilots. <33

95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?

Not painfully. |: With friends and family around me and someone holding my hand. >_> That or in a blaze of glory, goin’ down fighting all the way~! Though hopefully also not too painfully. |:

96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.

Make love confessions to my crushes and kiss them too, hang out with family and friends, aaaand…party like mad and do everything I was too uptight to do. |:

97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?

Making a difference I guess. In /someone’s/ life.

98. What three words best describe your personality?

Nice! Happy! Friendly!

99. What three words would others probably use to describe you?

Gay. |: Pain in the neck. Cute apparently. O_o

100. If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character?  (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...)

No one really cares that you’re gay. They just give you a hard time because your reactions are amusing.

Part 1: The Basics

1. What is your full name?

Mazz L. Tombs.

2. Where and when were you born?

I was born in Aedolis.

3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)

My parents are Gwen and Mariccus Tombs. My father is a man of the Army, and my mother is the...Director of T.R.I.M.

4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?

I have one brother and he is a really big show off. My parents adored him and he always sucked up to them.

5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.

I live on T.R.I.M now with...um...my pet. Yeah. She's very nice and I adore her. She helps keep me company. *cough*

6. What is your occupation?
I am a Scientist of T.R.I.M

7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.

Well, last I checked I was 6 feet tall, right on the mark. I'm about one hundred and eighty pounds I think. Uh let's see...I've got white hair...I've had that since I hit puberty at twelve...uhm it looks...really weird cause I have pale skin too and then as I'm told bright green eyes. It's...a family trait, all the men in my family have had green eyes and white hair. I'm human, pure human I think, but I can't really be sure. Sometimes I think I might have a splash of elf in me cause my ears are slightly pointed, only...slightly. I've got a...I've got a number with a red line through the numbers on my forearm, my right forearm. Some mordecai thought I might be magical...that's about it as far as I know. I mainly wear my labcoat and s sort of suit to look professonal. Sometimes I'll just wear a simple shirt and pants if I'm not working...but...I'm usually always working. I'm lean and somewhat fit...I mean...you can sorta see muscles on me at least. Ah heh...erm...next question.

8. To which social class do you belong?

Uh, the kind that doesn't get out much?

9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?

Well...not that I know of. I used to have a weak immune system when I didn't eat right...but now I've fixed that. I'm not a great fighter, not as strong as I wish I could be but...I do good enough I think.

10. Are you right- or left-handed?

Right handed.

11. What does your voice sound like?

Okay now this is a tricky question because there is the voice that I hear when I talk, and the voice that others hear. The voice that others hear is sort of....it's not exactly high but it isn't really low. I mean if I were to uhm...sing I can hit some of the high notes and a couple of the low notes. Not that I would know this by experience or anything.

12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently? Uh...I cough a lot if I'm embarrassed. I also kinda...stammer and tend to just...take pauses in my sentences when I'm really nervous.

13. What do you have in your pockets?
I have a molecular regenerator, a personal data pad, and...a bit of lint.

14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I uhm...I like cute women who are part animal...BUT YOU DIDn'T HEAR THAT FROM ME! Gah! I mean, i just like the way they look! Yeah! I'm a bit of a wreck too if you can't tell.

Part 2: Growing Up

15. How would you describe your childhood in general?

Quiet and unfulfilled really. My parents didn't pay much attention to me. I was the second born son so their attention was...well a bit to my brother and mostly to their jobs. They were so caught up in their lives. I had to learn...a lot of things for myself...a lot of things.

16. What is your earliest memory?

I remember when I was little my dad was teaching me old fashioned techniques for healing, like binding wounds and stuff like that. I also remember my mom dissecting a cadaver too...

17. How much schooling have you had?

I've had extensive schooling, since I was about seven till at least twenty four...I wanted to become a scientist and stuff.

18. Did you enjoy school?

Well I was good at it...it was hard but...I liked it at least.

19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?

At school. Pretty much all at school.

20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.

I wanted to be like my parents. They were doing soemthing for the country...sorta...I mean my mom just sorta freelanced and then...I wanted to be like them so they would be happy and pay attention to me. It didn't really work out all that much...they still paid more attention to my travelling brother.

21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?

We got along...that's about it. My parents ignored me mostly, and my brother was too busy taking all the love he could get from them so...things were quiet mostly.

22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a scientist, so my parents would be proud.

23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?

I mostly liked to read or watch TV shows about animals...I loved reading about animals, and dinosaurs.

24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?

Uhm, mostly the quiet ones. That people wouldn't notice. Some said I might be brilliant though if that counts.

25. As a child, were you popular?

Not even close!

26. When and with whom was your first kiss?

Does...does this really need to be answered? Yes? Oh erm...m-must've been sixth grade...I think her name was Suria...she was an alien.

27. Are you a virgin?

N-no, why would you think I am?

28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.

Uh, well, I'm a normal human and...I'd say wanting to be accepted and actually get attention from my parents made me into this. They paid very little mind to me so...I wanted to do something that they would be proud of, and would actually talk to me about.

Part 3: Past Influences

29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?

M-meeting Teidra has been really good.

30. Who has had the most influence on you?

Erm...Teidra again.

31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?

I did help create an anti-virus for the Genetic Phage that attacks certain DNA strands. I'd say that's my greatest achievement.

32. What is your greatest regret?

Not following my heart instead of trying to impress my parents.

33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?

Uh...I'm still doing it, and that's working at TRIM.

34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?

Well some of the things at TRIM could be considered War Crimes if we were at War.

35. When was the time you were the most frightened?

When one of the test subjects got loose.

36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
Uh well...that is...I was...and uhm...it happened on a resort...yeah. I really erm...can't discuss it.

37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?

I'd like to change my choice about going into Science because of my parents. I'd rather have picked my own career choice than try to get them to accept and shower attention on me.

38. What is your best memory?

That would be...seeing Earth for the first time when I went into space.

39. What is your worst memory?

Teidra jumping into the shower with me.

Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions

40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?

I like to think I'm optimistic...or scientific at least...eh heh, little scientist humour there.

41. What is your greatest fear?

Losing my job or Teidra...

42. What are your religious views?

I don't have time for that.

43. What are your political views?

I think the countries should all just get along with each other. Naive I guess you could call my views.

44. What are your views on sex?

It's uhm...you know. Sex. The biological reproductive form between a species that has two distinct genders categorized by 'male' and 'female' one for storing, holding, and accepting a second half of genetic code so that it might create a whole genetic code in order to produce offspring. It um...is best left to behind closed doors though.

45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?

I can kill...I think...Euthanizing someone is appropriate, like on TRIM if they're in a lot of pain, or go completely insane and...I don't think people should kill without reason or in madness.

46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?

Not try to help the betterment of their own kind.

47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?

I...um...I think that under...some bizarre galatic quirk it is possible for two people to somehow be right for each other.

48. What do you believe makes a successful life?

I think a life full of very little regrets and being able to provide for yourself and those you decide to share your life with.

49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?

I really...am not all that hidden. I mean. I sorta keep to myself about my job so that people won't look at me like a monster but...I'm pretty open.

50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?

I think some people could have really...eh...taken better routes with their lives but...no real...prejudices.

51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?

I'd refuse to...to...I don't know...I've killed...I guess it would have to be something erm...really kinky...in a sexual manner..

52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?

Teidra. I really would.

Part 5: Relationships With Others

53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?

I try to be polite and really not...let on what I do...I like to keep people somewhat...away from me but when I get to know them I talk a bit more I guess...

54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?

Really, I've already said so many times but...it's Teidra. She's just...she has no one and she got stuck in a bad spot so...it's really just better this way.

55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?

I'd say my mother. She's a strong and fierce lady. Really scary sometimes too.

56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people.

I don't have...many friends. There's a couple of guards...Guard Neilson...some scientists but...no best friend. I don't know much about Neilson but we banter a lot. He seems really nice, if not a bit...quirky.

57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person.

I don't have anyone like that.

58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.

I haven't been in love. I thought I mighta really liked someone but...I graduated school and she went her own way too.

59. What do you look for in a potential lover?

W-what? This isn't a dating service, I don't have to answer that!

60. How close are you to your family?

We're...not close. Distant. We all seem to like it that way.

61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?

I can't bring kids into this world, not with...not with what I do. It would be much too weird to explain to children.

62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?

Probably my mother, father, or brother...no doubt my father.

63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?

Well, Guard Neilson does a really good job of protecting me...

64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you?

TRIM might miss me for a little while, at least until they fill my position, Teidra would really miss me, and my family would miss me of course, though my mom wouldn't openly show it.

65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why?

I don't really...despise anyone.

66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?

I like avoiding conflict as much as possible, unless I guess I'm passionate about the subject.

67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?

Oh god no. I stay away from being a leader.

68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?

Not really. I'm just...not used to it. Lots of people there to judge me and all...it's better with smaller crowds.

69. Do you care what others think of you?

Not...yeah I do...I really do.

Part 6: Likes And Dislikes

70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?

Reading about animals.

71. What is your most treasured possession?

I have a really neat fossil from a Megladon shark.

72. What is your favorite color?

Green.

73. What is your favorite food?

I love battered and deep friend fish.

74. What, if anything, do you like to read?

Books about animal biology or just study papers about them.

75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?

I think good entertainment should be...appropriate for almost everyone. Tasteful things. Music should have a good soft rhythm to it. Art should be really tasteful, portraits of people or landscapes, still life, that sort of thing. Movies I...don't watch much but I like old movies, because really...science fiction is just really out there.

76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?

I don't do any of those. I use um...a special sort of concoction which is mainly vitamins and such. Don't have to eat, can stay up for days...it's really good.

77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?

In my quarters studying or pouring over test results.

78. What makes you laugh?

Uh...funny stuff?

79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?

What can really...shock and offend me? I'm on a giant research lab using people. I guess...animal...ty pe...people in trouble? *coughmutterssomethingaboutgreeneyesandwhitehair*

80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?

I'd work, like I usually do.

81. How do you deal with stress?

I just...push it aside and not let it really get in my way.

82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?

I like having a plan, it's very good that way.

83. What are your pet peeves?

People teasing me about my shyness toward things of a sexual nature.

Part 7: Self Images And Etc.

84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?

I...don't wake up because I don't really sleep so...when the time comes I take an injection, get showered and dress, go to Wing Alpha or Omega, run my tests and I just...go from there. Then I'll spend time pouring over data and results until my alarm goes off telling me I should shower and dress in clean clothes. It never gets disrupted by I sometimes like the exitement.

85. What is your greatest strength as a person?

I'd have to say my intelligence?

86. What is your greatest weakness?

When I get...overly emotional.

87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I'd like to be a bit...buffer I guess.

88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?

Introverted, very much so.

89. Are you generally organized or messy?

Well uh...I like to think I keep thinks somewhat clean but I have just...work scattered everywhere so a little messy but...I've never had a need to be really organized, only with my work.

90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.

I'm really good at writing theorums, running tests, and...I can walk really well? I'm bad at...distancing myself sometimes, handling a lot of pressure, and I'm bad at not being a pushover.

91. Do you like yourself?

I guess I do.

92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)

Parents. I already said all of this stuff. Why haven't you been listening to me! Yeesh.

93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?

To no longer need a place like TRIM or...in the very least get away from TRIM alive and with Teidra.

94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Probably working at TRIM. Still. Maybe as the Director...I don't know.

95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?

I'd like to die slowly, cancer maybe, so I have time to say goodbye, and to make a checklist of all the things I want to do and see...then to die peacefully in a hospital. Not TRIM though.

96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.

I'd probably kiss Teidra, try to see what Neilson looks like under that guard helmet, and have a talk with my parents. Then I would set my affairs in order and erm...probably...ye ah. Ahem.

97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?

I'd like to think my compassion but...we all know that's probably not going to happen so hopefully my genius.

98. What three words best describe your personality?

Timid, detatched, hurting

99. What three words would others probably use to describe you?

Cold, Monsterous, Quiet

100. If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...)

Mazz, you need to get laid and just relax. Probably also stop working at TRIM or take a less worrisome job. Seriously, also eat and sleep. Maybe play a lot more, learn an instrument or something!

Two! I have an attention span of steel. xD

Tetra
Quote
Part 1: The Basics

1. What is your full name?
Tetra Nikodemos Zarovia, after my father, Nikodemos.

2. Where and when were you born?
I was born in a hospital on Edanith, forty-five years ago.

3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
My father, Nikodemos Zarovia, was a doctor before he married my mother, Hyacinth. He was deeply intrigued by the idea of genetic modification, and thus felt alienated from Edanithian society. My mother died when I was young, in childbirth. She had always been a sickly woman, having miscarried three times before I was born. Nevertheless, she loved me and my father with all her heart.

4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
I prefer not to talk about it, if it’s all the same to you.

5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
I live in the Thanatos Research Institute of Metaphysics, alone. My room is nothing special... I keep my clothes in it, really, and what possessions I have. Mostly joke gifts from my co-workers.

6. What is your occupation?
I am a geneticist. I am currently in the process of developing a virus that will alter human DNA in order to give the infected human psychic abilities.

7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
Height: six feet, five inches; weight: 203 pounds, or something; race: lucidius; hair color: light blond; eye color: dark brown. If I were a test subject, that would be all you needed to know... however, when I’m not wearing a lab coat, I do prefer layered outfits. I’ve heard I have no fashion sense, but I’m not one to concern myself with what other people think I should be wearing.

8. To which social class do you belong?
Technically, I’m effectively ostracized from Edanithian society. However, at TRIM I’m a senior geneticist, and one of the better-respected staff members.

9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
I hate cold weather. Cold weather is altogether unpleasant... also I have rather weak ankles, but don’t go telling the subjects that.

10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Right-handed, though I can use both effectively in a fight.

11. What does your voice sound like?
Threatening, I should hope. A low voice, but civilized.

12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
I tend to say “yes” too often, to certain people. “Hold still” is another of my favorites.

13. What do you have in your pockets?
Office key, dormitory key, antiseptic solution... why haven’t I labeled this vial yet?

14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I tend not to sleep. I’m also carnivorous, which really shouldn’t elicit as much of a reaction as it does. Oh, yes, and I can manipulate heat. That’s nice to have when the new interns come in.

Part 2: Growing Up

15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
...Interesting. It was great fun, being the child of the least-respected man on the planet.

16. What is your earliest memory?
Walking through the marketplace with my mother.
17. How much schooling have you had?
I studied genetics (such as I could) and molecular biology through six years of college. Apparently, that’s enough to be able to cut people open.

18. Did you enjoy school?
College? More so than previous years.

19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
I learned quite a lot from my father, and his books on genetics.

20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.
My father was my role model, until I left Edanith. Everyone else seemed to fear genetic modification, but my father understood it opened up a world of possibilities for less-fortunate people like my mother... he was always a courteous person, even when he knew no one liked him.

21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
I loved my family, and still do, not only because they seemed to be the only people around who looked like me...

22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
As a small child, I wanted to be the captain of a space vessel. In later childhood, I wanted to be a chef. Then I decided science was much more interesting.

23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?
I loved to play outside, as a child, and to watch the stars.

24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?
I was nice until I started school. Then I was somewhat of a bully... having pointy teeth and sharp claws does virtually nothing for one’s charisma.

25. As a child, were you popular?
Would you have been, if you looked like me? None of the children’s parents approved of me either, being the spawn of the crazy Dr. Nikodemos Zarovia.

26. When and with whom was your first kiss?
I was something like fifteen years old, and she was a quite scary-looking human female, a year or two older than me, with an affinity for constrictive clothing and heavy makeup. We dated for a few months, but I  had to break it off due to biological unfeasibility.

27. Are you a virgin?
Who are you, then? I won’t dignify that with a response.

28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
Well, as is common of children, I sort of figured everyone had claws, pointed teeth, and command over heat until I started school, wherein I learned it apparently wasn’t normal for little boys to catch fire when they got angry.

Part 3: Past Influences

29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
Probably going to TRIM as a young adult.

30. Who has had the most influence on you?
My father... as I’ve said before...

31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Being respected among my co-workers, and not just out of fear. I mean, fear is always a good thing to have, but it’s nice to be recognized for my work.

32. What is your greatest regret?
Not growing up in a place with more of my species... in retrospect, maybe I wouldn’t have grown up to be a mad scientist.

33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?
*proud grin* That’s a matter of degrees, but there are two instances which stand out in my mind. The first involved a certain test subject whom I had quite grown to hate... it should be noted that not all the viruses I create need have severe symptoms. However, this subject was quite out of line... I deliberately targeted a few genes which were not included in the writeup of the experiment... he nearly died from the sheer pain it caused him. Nearly died, but did not. The second was a subject with quite an awful reputation... an ex-pilot candidate from Aedolis. I didn’t want any trouble from her, so I set fire to the floor tiles of her cell as I first walked in, and other things in that vein. I can look fairly terrifying when I’m on fire, apparently, and nearly scared her out of her wits. She was a very docile subject from then on...

34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?
For the record, I probably should. However, I do not; one of the benefits of working for TRIM.

35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
Definitely during my time as an intern at TRIM... I was exposed to things the likes of which mortal eyes should never see. Certainly, I am not the same person now as I was then.

36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
Well, in those early intern years I was asked to serve coffee to the corporate heads at a meeting... turns out I had made it about ninety-three degrees too hot. I always drink my coffee at that temperature, so... at least I got the benefit of the doubt. I never did get a chance to redeem myself.

37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?
Again, I would rather have lived in a more diverse environment as a child...

38. What is your best memory?
Intern orientation meetings are always fun. I get people from all over TRIM giving me ideas for what to do during my speech. I would have said something touching from my childhood, but... my childhood was not that great.

39. What is your worst memory?
Fourth grade. Wait, no, I meant internship, watching psychics be forced to telekinetically turn their own intestines inside out... ¬///¬

Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions

40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
Considering very few of my experiments have actually gotten anywhere in my twenty-two years of work? Pessimistic.

41. What is your greatest fear?
Death.

42. What are your religious views?
I am quite godless, thanks to my place of employment.

43. What are your political views?
I really couldn’t care less about politics. I work, I torture, I get paid for it. I rarely leave TRIM.

44. What are your views on sex?
It’s not my main preoccupation. I have different tastes from most people.

45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
Oh, I am quite able to kill. It’s a pain when it happens, though, because it usually means I’m out a subject. Myself, I prefer only to kill humanoids, as we seem to be the ones most worth killing...

46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?
The destruction of a planet is a most grievous crime. A man can defend himself, but a planet cannot. Also, planets only ever seem to be destroyed in the name of greed.

47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
... Presently, I have no reason to.

48. What do you believe makes a successful life?
I believe, to be successful in life, one must devote his life to what he believes in.

49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?
What is my true self? I prefer that others know how I feel about them, none of that being nice to their faces, but not behind their backs. One of my dearest friends is a psychic, and she would tell you that the thoughts I do hide are merely out of courtesy.

50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?
Should I list them? Let’s just say I consider you a waste of resources until you give me a reason not to.

51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?
I refuse to support any government that values revenue over the safety of the environment. It’s just twisted.

52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?
I already have... but again, I prefer not to talk about it.

Part 5: Relationships With Others

53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
Humanoid organisms tend to use more than they are worth. However, if I do get to know them, and like them, I treat them better than I would otherwise.

54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
My parents are dead, but there is one other who is not, and it is for that reason that that person is dearest to me.

55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
I have a great deal of respct for the president of Thanatos, Inc. It take patience to run a place like this. Patience, or utter mental instability.

56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people.
My co-workers are my friends, mostly. Especially Doctor Imajica. She is... an intriguing woman, with her own ideas about everything, and has quite a way with physical torture.

57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person.
No.

58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
Well, no, not as such. The closest I got was with that human girl when I was young.

59. What do you look for in a potential lover?
I would prefer that she be the same species... or he, as the case may be... and that she not be flighty and careless with relationships.

60. How close are you to your family?
My mortal coil separates me from most of my relations.

61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?
I have no family of my own, mainly because I am of a rare breed, apparently. I would like to raise a child someday, but he need not be my own.

62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?
If it were myself who was in danger, I would turn to Mae. If it were not... I really don’t know.

63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?
I would like to think I did not need the protection of others. Again, however, if I were in mortal danger, I would go to Mae.

64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you?
Mae, and a few of my weirder subjects... and someone else.

65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why?
That varies regularly, depending on who the worst-behaved subject (or intern) is.

66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
I am a pacifist by nature, but when I must confront someone, I come out on top.

67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
I don’t tend to trust others with such roles. If there is someone else trustworthy, I prefer to work in the shadows.

68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?
No. People are generally irritating.

69. Do you care what others think of you?
In most cases, no. What I think of them is more important, from a purely medical standpoint.

Part 6: Likes And Dislikes

70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?
I love my job. I’m like a virus myself, in my singleminded work ethic...

71. What is your most treasured possession?
My mind. Unless you meant a tangible item, in which case I have a wonderful tungsten nail file that I purchased on a trip to Aedolis. It comes in quite handy, for me.

72. What is your favorite color?
Red, and bright white.

73. What is your favorite food?
Food is a necessity, really. I like spicy foods best, though.

74. What, if anything, do you like to read?
If I haven’t read the latest writeups on genetic experiments from the rest of the genetics department, I have failed in my duties... I also like a good horror novel, or a psychological thriller.

75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?
I’ve never really thought about it. I do read... that’s pretty much it, though. I’d travel, but there isn’t anywhere.

76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?
No, it puts an unneeded strain on the body.

77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
Working. Failing that, terrorizing the interns, or sleeping.

78. What makes you laugh?
My own mistakes, mostly. That’s quite rare.

79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?
I don’t think there’s anything out there. Try me.

80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
I would work on something, or tromp around Wing Alpha with Mae and unnerve the subjects. I don’t have insomnia, however... if anything, I have trouble staying awake.

81. How do you deal with stress?
I go to the cause of it, and cut it open or infect it with something.

82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?
Spontaneous? No, that really doesn’t describe me at all...

83. What are your pet peeves?
Other people, blind dates, and being woken up.

Part 7: Self Images And Etc.

84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?
I wake up whenever I wake up. I eat, then I go check on my current experiments. Then I work, then I eat again, then I work some more. Then I go check on the subjects again, then finish my work, then eat dinner and go to sleep. Sometimes those last two don’t happen. When it’s disrupted, I either get quite mad or I’m thankful for a break in the monotony. Usually that first one.

85. What is your greatest strength as a person?
My constitution.

86. What is your greatest weakness?
The fact that I’m naturally scary-looking.

87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I’d say I want to look more normal, but claws are useful.

88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
Introverted, very.

89. Are you generally organized or messy?
I’d like to be organized, but it never works out that way.

90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
I’m good at working, commanding respect, and cooking. I’m bad at dealing with people, thinking of “fun” things to do, and staying awake.

91. Do you like yourself?
... I have no arguments with myself.

92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)
I am a scientist because genetics is my passion. I really do love to mess around with DNA.

93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
I want to discover the gene sequence that enables psychic ability.

94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
... Still here, running tests.

95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?
I can, and I don’t plan on it.

96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.
I would have Mae turn me, and quickly. Then I would spend the rest of that day working, probably. Because, you know, I’d still be undead the next day. I have this all planned out.

97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
Would you stop asking me about death? It makes me rather uneasy. Like you have a hitman after me.

98. What three words best describe your personality?
Indifferent, hostile, monotonous...

99. What three words would others probably use to describe you?
Weird, completely unattractive.

100. If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...)
Tetra... please, get laid. It would do you good, and then you can stop agonizing about un-dying a virgin.

Gear
Quote
Part 1: The Basics

1. What is your full name?
Lucien. That’s all I know for sure, but now I’m Lucien Delfan, but everyone calls me Gear.

2. Where and when were you born?
Uh... good question.

3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
I don’t really know. I remember what they looked like, though... sort of. They were tall, and my dad had blond hair, and my mom had curly black hair. She was really pretty... but that’s all.

4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
I don’t remember any. Maybe?

5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
Now I live in Teinar, mostly by myself. I used to live with a mechanic, Allen Delfan. He died, though... the air from the surface poisoned him. Now I live in his shop.

6. What is your occupation?
I do mechanic work sometimes, but not boring stuff like fixing vehicles. Cool stuff, like robots and people.

7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
Uh, I’m short, and have red hair. No, not red red... dark red. Almost brown. I’m a cyborg! My right leg is metal, and my left arm, and my right eye. Both my eyes are blue, but the cybernetic one is brighter. I like to wear bright colors, ‘cause everything’s so dull down here. Oh, I’m human, too, mostly. Except the metal parts; those are metal.

8. To which social class do you belong?
Social class? I dunno. I have a job, sort of, so that’s okay. Most people I know like me.

9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
I’m not such a great fighter. Sometimes my bolts come loose, too.

10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Um... right, I guess. It’s the human one.

11. What does your voice sound like?
Um, it sounds okay. It’s metal too. I mean, they had to cybernetically enhance it. My sound quality’s not so great right now, but I’ll get it upgraded soon, when I have the money.

12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
I say “please” and “thank you” a lot. People like kids with good manners, right?

13. What do you have in your pockets?
There was a spare bolt in here, but it’s gone. There’s some change, and a wrench.

14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Uh, people say I’m annoying sometimes. Prob’ly ‘cause I ask too many questions.

Part 2: Growing Up

15. How would you describe your childhood in general?
It’s pretty fun! I don’t know any other cyborg kids, so I’m special!

16. What is your earliest memory?
Um, my parents, in a spaceship. That’s how I know what they looked like.

17. How much schooling have you had?
Well, I can read, and write pretty okay, and do math. I can fix things.

18. Did you enjoy school?
I didn’t really go to school that much. Allen just taught me how to read and write and fix things.

19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
I learned from Allen!

20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.
I told you, Allen was the best. I wanna be just like him when I grow up. Except more metal.

21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
Um, I think I liked them okay.

22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I said, a mechanic! I want to be the best mechanic in Teinar... but I don’t just wanna fix cars and things. Only really cool stuff!

23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?
I like to go up to the surface with my gas mask and look for things. Sometimes my friends go on trips and bring me back things from Ipollius and places like that! Then I make things out of them.

24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?
Um, I’m inquisitive. Apparently.

25. As a child, were you popular?
People like me okay. I don’t think I have any enemies. Except the surface creatures, but they don’t like anybody.

26. When and with whom was your first kiss?
A girl kissed me once. She had to move my goggles out of the way, then she kissed me on the cheek, right here. She said she thought my metal eye was really cool.

27. Are you a virgin?
... What’s a virgin? Someone said Allen was one once. He didn’t tell me what it meant, though...

28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
Um, they told me I was in a spaceship crash, and lost my arm and leg and eye and some other stuff, but they fixed me and gave me metal parts, so I’m alright.

Part 3: Past Influences

29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
One time, I found an old engine on the surface! It took forever to get it underground, and a dog thing nearly bit my arm off! The metal one. I got it fixed though.

30. Who has had the most influence on you?
Allen!

31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
I dunno. I hammered my arm back out after that dog thing nearly killed me! That was pretty brave.

32. What is your greatest regret?
Um, I don’t have any!

Evil? Hmm... I kicked someone in the shin once. With my metal leg... he started bleeding, and I said I was sorry, and he tried to chase me down, but Allen saved me.

34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?
No! I wouldn’t do anything bad on purpose!

35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
One time, I thought I saw a guy on the surface... but it wasn’t one! It was scary... I left my stuff and ran back to the city as fast as I could.

36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
My leg bolt came loose in front of a bunch of girls once. They all laughed at me... I put it back in really fast and ran away.

37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?
I’d make it so my parents were still alive. Maybe they could even be cyborgs like me!

38. What is your best memory?
One time, I helped someone fix a robot, and he bought me ice cream!

39. What is your worst memory?
When Allen died... that was really bad. The doctor said it was too late and he couldn’t do anything... I cried really hard...

49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?

50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?

She has to be nice, and pretty, and I don’t care if she’s metal or not. So long as she really likes me.
