Those are pretty cool. The only real fun fact that I have about myself is that my dad hates me because of my cat ears and tail... pretty lame, eh?

I guess most wouldn't see that as a fun fact, but it gets better. He tried to blame my mom for it, saying that her bloodline must not have been pure. Turns out he was wrong. It was his bloodline that had the dormant genes. I wish I could have been old enough to remember what dad looked like when he had to apologize to mom. I bet she made him grovel at her feet. *grins* Mom is awesome like that.

I understand that I do not have to participate if I so choose. I fail to see what that has to do with my question. I merely asked what the point of this service was.

I can see the usefulness of further understanding of fellow candidates, but might I inquire what makes it 'fun'?

I do not understand why you seem to feel that I dislike this. I never expressed an opinion of that sort. I was only asking a question to clarify the purpose of this allowance and after you explained, I was hoping you would expand on your answer in regards to what makes it 'fun'. I am unfamiliar with this.

Not disliking something does not automatically mean that I find it 'fun'. Liking something, as well, does not automatically mean it is 'fun'. I neither like nor dislike this blog - I have not had enough experience with it to form such opinions.

That is why I was asking for clarification. To see what the point was - one of the two reasons I received was that the point was to be 'fun'. I am unfamiliar with gaining enjoyment from such a format or interaction - particularly one set up for that exact intended purpose. I can understand the informative purpose despite the seemingly random aspects of the discussion.

But how does it qualify as 'fun'?
