{PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION}

Arumati is strikingly beautiful, slim and well-proportioned, and every bit the royalty she was born to be, but she is also a warrior and has the musculature to match. Her long blond hair she often keeps in a tight braid wound around her head in mimicry of a crown, but if let loose, it falls in a gentle wave down to the center of her back. Her blue eyes are often sparkling with a playfulness she never lost, despite her past and her present, but when that sparkle leaves, her eyes become twin chips of solid ice. She stands tall and proud, as a princess should, but she also has the grace and smoothness to her motions that only a warrior could possess.

She wears mostly dark colors in contrast to her coloring, often tight pants and long tunics over shorter-sleeved shirts or camisoles, and boots. Elbow-length fingerless gloves cover her forearms. Her ensemble is often completed with a wide belt around her waist, and an over-the-shoulder back sheath for her kukri blade and her glaive.

{PERSONALITY}

Arumati might once have been a princess, but she never acted like one then, and she doesn’t act like one now. She knows when to speak and when to stay quiet, and she knows when she can get away with being snarky and when she can’t. She makes her feelings very clear, and she will not hesitate to defend those feelings. She is fiery and spirited, but she takes into consideration others’ feelings and their wants and needs, and she will try to help them as she can. She is a defender and protector, but she isn’t one to take advantage of. She holds grudges, and she can be ruthless and devastating in her own right.

Yet, despite all her rage and hate directed outward, there is rage and hate directed inward, as well. Despite all her strength, her prowess, her skill, she still couldn’t stop what happened. She couldn’t protect her family and her friends. They all died because of her inability to do anything. That guilt is eating away at her, which perhaps is why she agreed to help Kranath once he brought her back. However, she isn’t about to squander her second chance at life, nor is she about to squander the chance to bring her race back into existence. And, she absolutely will not allow them to come to harm ever again.

Fun Facts:
- She enjoys stargazing
- Her favorite food is sugar cookies
- Her favorite flower is the lotus
- She is a skilled ballroom dancer, but she also enjoys raqs sharqi, a type of belly-dancing that emphasizes complex movements of the torso

{SPECIAL ABILITIES}

Shapeshifting - Arumati possess the ability to shift into a large golden-scaled dragon with striking sapphire blue eyes

Pyrokinesis - as a gold dragon, Arumati has dominance over fire, such that she can create it and control it in any of its forms. Very rarely does she display this ability, however, mostly because she has no reason to

Arumati is also very skilled in the use of a glaive and kukri weapons, and while she can’t ever seem to beat Kranath in their training sessions, there is no denying that against anyone else, she would certainly win

{RELATIONSHIPS}

Kranath Trin - The man who murdered her and brought her back to life. She hates him for what he did but she’s also grateful to him for bringing her back, and she’s vowed to help him in his task. She calls him Ran-Ran to get under his skin, and when she’s annoyed with him.

{BACKGROUND NOTES}

Arumati was born many thousands of years ago when the world was very different. She was once a princess of her clan, the youngest child and a rebellious one. She never liked the conformity she was expected to adhere to, and often went out of her way to make friends with individuals who otherwise might not be recognized by one of her station. She looked at the world as if it was one big adventure for her to experience, and she never felt as if she belonged to royalty. She, like everyone else of her clan, believed there was a bright future ahead of her, but that future was cut short when war came to her doorstep. Arumati, like others, fought to save her people and her family, but she was no match for the man who was cloaked in blood and madness. Like everyone else who faced him, Arumati fell. Resurrected millenia later, Arumati is adjusting to her new life and her new station, but she hasn’t forgotten the reason for her current situation.
