Military Ranks
« on: April 06, 2008, 11:59:12 pm »
Many people probably don't know what their rank actually mean (I know I don't). These are the army ranks in America, it is different to Australian and English ranks but it should give everyone a basic idea of who bows to who.

E means enlisted (those who are commanded).
W means they are warrent officers.
O means officers (those who command).
E-1 is the lowest rank of each devision and O-10 is the highest.
If there are two at the same level (eg, two E-4s) they are of the same rank only they do different jobs.
If your character is a militia, I guess they would be E-0.
