Delayed escape. [Rina!]

Slipping out of bed, Shiloh started gathering up the clothes that had gotten tossed around the room. Christian's room, to be exact. The guy had ordered him up here again but now it was time to leave, quietly before he noticed--and before he could say anything about it.

He found his boxers at the foot of the bed and slipped them on, making as little noise as he could, and fished around in a pile on the floor until he found his jeans and squeezed into those. Somehow, his shirt had wound up near the room's TV and, after stealing a glance at Christian to make sure he was still sleeping, he wandered over to it and picked it up.

...Knocking over a pile of game cases in the process, which his shirt had apparently been resting on.

Shiloh cringed at the sound, but then blinked in surprise, distracted from his worry of waking Christian up. Wait, games? Video games? Christian had those?

Shiloh always tended to sneak out after sex, once Christian had passed out. The Noble hadn't really decided how he felt about that, so many conflicting emotions about the whole process made him irritated. And so he just had to pick on Shiloh even more. This last session had been rough, marks dotted Shiloh's skin from his attentions earlier.

He stirred, lifting his head off the pillow, blue hair mussed. After sex, he liked to just sleep, but the lack of Shiloh's warmth and the sounds of the games knocking over stirred him awake, "What are you doing?"

Sitting up, Christian glanced down at the spilled game pile, "What? Get bored or something?"

[Rhi-Rhi]

Shiloh jerked in surprise and scrambled to put the games back into order. He'd started to look through them, see which ones he recognized and which he didn't. "Wha? Oh, uh, no. Jus' gettin' dressed," he said quickly, straightening back up and throwing the shirt over his head. He popped his head through the neck-hole.

"Didn't know ya played."

"How come? I like you naked better. And yeah. I like video games." It was something Christian had gotten to do with Gabe when they were kids. Which made him have a soft spot for video games. He actually had a lot of different types, role playing games to tactical games to first person shooters to fighting games.

"Why, you play any?"

[Rhi-Rhi]

"Yeah, some," Shiloh said, pausing awkwardly. So far, this was going...weirdly okay. No fag comments for once--which was making him a little paranoid and suspicious because it went against everything he expected. It was like waiting for the other shoe to drop.

And yet, he didn't mind that. It wasn't like he minded Christian's company. The sex was good and he was a cool guy...despite all the weirdness. Wasn't weird enough that he'd stopped coming around.

"Like fightin' games an' first person shooters an' stuff." The simple, to-the-point stuff that required blunt force and some common sense and street smarts, just like his own personality. Tactical stuff and puzzle games just frustrated him.

"Those are pretty fun." Christian stretched and rolled onto his stomach, head at the foot of the bed, looking over the pile, "Well, why not pop one in. Or are you too busy sneaking out."

[Rhi-Rhi]

Shiloh flushed a little at that, caught red-handed, and gave a sheepish grin. "Oh...naw. Weren't goin' nowhere," he said, and grabbed the first game he saw, a fighting game he hadn't played but that looked interesting. He settled down on the floor and fiddled with the system, popping the game in and flipping on the TV.

"Never played this one before. Uh, ya playin'?" he asked, holding up the second control. Something about this felt kind of awkward; he'd been to Christian's house plenty of times, yet somehow didn't feel like he belonged in it, like he needed to stick to Christian's bedroom and living room and beyond that would be snooping. But then again, most of their interaction had been in bed.

"Fuck yeah. I'll kick yer ass." Christian smirked, grabbing the controls and selecting his favorite character, a short chick with huge tits and fought with a giant hammer. "I didn't peg you for the type to play video games, but I can see it."

[Rhi-Rhi]

"Didn't really play 'em much 'til I got here," Shiloh answered, selecting his own character, a busty girl wearing little more than string who had four arms. He hadn't grown up with much money; his mom used it all on booze and drugs. They had a TV and shit, they lived alright, but it wasn't like he was in the house playing video games or whatever. He was too busy running with his posse stirring trouble.

"But yeah, didn't peg ya as th' type, neither." Christian seemed somehow too cool for it.

"I grew up on them." When he had been younger, he had wanted to be just like Gabe. And Gabe played video games.

Starting up the game, he launched into several powerful combos. He hadn't played the game enough to be awesome, but he had a few moves memorized.

[Rhi-Rhi]

Shiloh, unfamiliar with this game as he was, got his health bar taken down by nearly half in seconds. He started to button-mash in response; he never actually learned the proper combos, he just sort of played and pressed stuff until things happened, and then tried to replicate it when it actually worked. He managed to get one good combo out of it, at least.

"Yeah? Prob'ly never woulda come outside if I had 'em as a kid."

It was actually very hard to play against a button masher. They lacked any real tactics to work around, so it was hard to counter it. Christian managed to control the first round, but the second wasn't working in his favor.

"Yeah? I didn't go outside much as a kid. Probably because I had video games."

[Rhi-Rhi]

Shiloh cracked a grin at that. Huh. Now here they were, talking about their childhoods. Interesting. And kinda weird. Yet Shiloh didn't entirely mind it, especially with such safe subjects. "Heh, ya could hardly keep me in," he said, then threw up a fist when he finally KO'd Christian. "Hah! Tied!"

"We have another round." Christian snorted and got his game face on. He was not letting the little faggot win. He chose to let the subject drop about their childhoods, finding it a little uncomfortable. He didn't like talking about that part of his life.

"Ha! Take that cocksucker!"

[Rhi-Rhi]

"Fuck you," Shiloh said, mashing more buttons and pulling off some combo that he wouldn't be able to do again because he didn't know what he'd just pressed. It took out a chunk of Christian's health and Shiloh grinned triumphantly.

"Yer goin' down, fucker! Howdja like tha'?"

Christian's eyes narrowed and he retaliated with a fast and brutal attack, smashing Shiloh's girl to the edge and then pounded out a combo that launched her into the air and off the edge of the ring, "Ha! I win fucker!"

[Rhi-Rhi]

Shiloh let out a string of curses when he lost, then scowled and dropped his controller to the carpet. "Pah. Tha' game fuckin' sucks, anyway," he grumbled and started to fish through the pile of games, searching for a familiar title. Sore loser? Him? Never. "Let's do a different one next."

Well, that was cute. Christian smirked, head resting on his arm, "My my. Aren't we a little brat. Here I would have thought you would want to kick my ass."

[Rhi-Rhi]

"I'm gonna kick yer ass," Shiloh answered, slipping a new game in. It was a first person shooter he'd put a lot of hours into. "Jus' never played tha' one. Figure we're better when we both know th' turf."

"Uh huh. Is that how it is? How do you know I've even played this one?" It was one he was okay with, like many Pilots he had good reflexes, though the aiming was always a little rough with the inexact controllers.

"Team or verses?"
