The Little Things

There was no doubt that the Spin the Bottle game was still going on in Bart's place, but for now Smash was glad that he'd been given the chance to leave with Blaine. Normally he would have been all over being able to kiss a lot of people without having to tempt them into it. It was just that the thought of being able to possibly become a little closer to Blaine was far more tempting to him.

They headed back to Smash's place, since Blaine seemed to be out of it. Whatever had gone on between the other precog and Christian had really rattled the other man. Once inside, the door locked on it's own, and he showed Blaine towards the couch.

"Make yourself at home here... is there anything I can get you? Maybe something to drink, or some pain killers?"

The living room was large, with one wall designated just for the stereo system and entertainment systems, and there were tall speakers in each corner for surround sound. One wall was left bare, though it was painted pure white. It was easy to see why since there was a video projector fastened into the room on the opposite wall. The carpet was white, and there was a large glass coffee table in the middle of the room. A long couch ran the entire length of the wall opposite from the bare wall, and curved on either side to provide enough room for two more people. It was black, and rather comfortable. There was also a lot of dark color pillows on the cough, and larger cushins on the floor around the coffee table in case people wanted to use the floor. A couple other large over stuffed chairs were placed in the room, and the decoration was minimal, though musical in theme. The pictures that were in frames were of Smash and his former bandmates.

Blaine recovered quickly.  It was easy to fall back on long time habits once he was out of that room and away from Christian.  By the time they made it to Smash's place he felt like himself again.

"Ah, finally away from there!"  He took Smash at his word and flopped onto the couch.  He didn't try to hide his aversion to the game, just his reason for not wanting to be there.  "I dunno, what do you got?  We should have our own fun while they're over there—hey, who are they?"

He went over to get a close look at some of the pictures.  They didn't look related to Smash, but that didn't necessarily mean anything.

"Who?" he paused to glance over to the picture that Blaine was looking at. "Oh them, they're my former bandmates, Jas and Tao," he said with a soft smile, then frowned a little bit. "They died a while ago in a fire." It was still sad to think about it, but he didn't want to drag the mood down.

"We were like a family, some of the best times of my life were spent with them, performing and partying, and boy did we ever manage to stir up trouble at times," he said with a soft laugh.
