Grapple please!

He was the top. He was awesome. And he wanted to wrestle. So he’d threaten Gabriel into coming to one of the work out rooms. Even sent him a message a few minutes ago. He would come, because he was such a good sport and Roman was sure Gabriel would love to wrestle with him, too.

Oh boy! A chance to wrestle with his totally platonic friend Roman! They did wrestle an awful lot, the two of them, but it was totally just a macho thing to see who could best who. It was awesome having such a great, tall friend in a strictly brotherly/teacherly relationship!

"You're going down, Roman!" he said, bursting into the room.

Young men were the best to wrestle with. They had stamina and the upper body strength people his age didn’t. Roman was far too old for a not-plutonic relationship with Gabriel, so this would be great! Plutonic wrestling. He removed his shirt, because everyone knew the less stuff you had to grab and pull your weight around the better you would do!

“Oh, I don’t intend to! You’re going to be bottoms up before long!” or whatever that losing phrase was supposed to be.

"You're not getting the advantage like that!"  Since Roman took his shirt off, Gabriel had to do better! He always had to be one step ahead of Roman, that's just how their standard, platonic relationship worked! So he had to strip off his shirt and pants. That being the only reason for doing so, what with him being here with his straight friend Roman and all.

It was all friendly rivalry of course! Roman was so funny, and sarcastic, and had amazing biceps...everything you'd want in a buddy!

"You're too old and handsome to win against me!"

“And you’re too young and cute to win!” Roman retorted, puffing out his chest and frowning after Gabriel took off his pants as well. What was this! Was the brat trying to one up him? No! Roman removed his pants as well, not caring that today of all days he decided to go commando. They could really prove who was manlier. Naked wrestling.

“Come get some!” That was a common phrase used when fighting, Roman decided to thump his chest with his fists for emphasis.

Naked wrestling! Yes!  A true test of who was the better fighter!  So much better than clothed wrestling for that reason, though that was good too! Any wrestling was good, kept you in shape and all that. That was really the only reason he liked it.  Naked wrestling would be even better without all those clothes getting in the way of the fighting.

"Here I come!"  Gabriel flung himself at Roman.  Sure, Roman was usually way better at hand-to-hand combat, but that was why he was here! He had to naked wrestle Roman to improve his fighting skills. So in the end he was really doing this to be a better Pilot.

Now this was the epitome of being a man. Roman grabbed Gabriels shoulders after their chests pressed together after the younger man tackled him and pinned him before he rolled away and kneeled.“You’re not very good.” he mocked quietly before he sneered and stood up, wiping imaginary dust off of his legs.

“C’mon Gabriel, you can do better than that. I’m not letting you leave this room until you’re panting and sweating from our little work out.”

"You bet I can do better! YAAAAH!!"  No way was Roman gonna get away with taunting him!  He pounced Roman again and this time grabbed him around the waist and brought them to the mat.  What good practice!  Yeah, this would definitely make them better soldiers.

Roman was already a perfect soldier. Even so, he didn’t always have the perfect balance and he fell on his back with Gabriel attached to his lower half. What to do now? Roman snarled and pushed Gabriel downwards trying to unlatch the younger man who seemed to have much more stamina.

Yes!  This was real wrestling!  They were getting some awesome training here!  Good thing he and Roman had each other to spar with like this. It'd keep them from getting rusty!  Gabriel didn't dare let go of his grip around Roman's waste and tried to roll on top of him.  Damn, too bad Roman was bigger than he was.  He had an advantage there! With those broad shoulders...sculpte d abs...strong arms...

Yeah. Advantage.
