Ranks with *asterisks* around them are always open and can be filled by an unlimited number of characters. Individual characters for these ranks will not be listed here.
If a position requires approval, it will state so. Otherwise, feel free to join characters for it right away and begin playing!

SPACE STATION CANCER (http://remnants.spiritsoftheearth.net/cancer.php)
The Cancer is a place to trade, do business, pick up crew members...and anything else one can imagine. It is highly diverse—one might even call it haphazard. It has been built over the years by tacking on new parts and renovations without much care for ease of use or appearance. The result is a labyrinth of markets (both black and legitimate), docking stations, residences, and bars. Cancer holds anything anyone could possibly need, so long as they have the right connections. Just don't get lost; in this den of thieves and pirates, it's all too easy for the clueless to "disappear".
Captain
- The highest authority on Cancer.

First Mate
- Second in command to the captain.
- Currently Open!
*Marshals*
- The Marshals oversee Cancer's private security forces. There are Fleet Marshals, who command Cancer's space fleet, and Station Marshals who command the station guards.
*Reds*
- Technically called peace officers, but everyone calls them Reds on account of their intimidating red uniforms. They are both fighter pilots and station security guards who keep the peace among Cancer's rowdy crowd. A rough, ruthless group adept at putting down troublemakers.
*Citizens*
- Cancer is the size of a large metropolis, and many people have chosen to make the station their home. They can be shopkeepers, mechanics, black market traders...anything they want to be really. Cancer is vibrant with opportunity and business—both legitimate and illegal.
