Just a punkass weirdo & horned gunner
« on: June 12, 2012, 04:10:09 pm »
In theory, Jaxon had no reason to be tense or anxious at all. In theory, Jaxon had done this plenty of times before.

It was a pattern he'd followed for months: 1) find an opening for a temporary job with a crew, usually through his connections around Cancer, 2) meet up with their captain at a bar, have a chat, and then 3) get on board, for days, sometimes weeks, before 4) returning home.

But this time was different, not quite so formulaic, because this was the first time Jaxon found himself in line for a permanent position. Though it seemed the same as always, though he was heading to his favorite bar- the Sienna Star- as always, he was en route with the knowledge that if things went well, there would be no more returning home in his pattern, and no more pattern at all. For all he knew, this man could turn out to be his captain for years, and the crew could become as important to him as his gang had been.

Though the idea was unsettling, it was far from new or surprising. Jaxon had been considering joining a crew full-time for quite some time, at least since his gang on Cancer had broken up and he'd started to learn gunning and weaponry from Cass. Back when he'd been a beginner, he knew he wouldn't have been able to join a crew until he had experience, and he had known his only option for some time was part-time gigs. Then for some time after that, he'd held himself back under the belief that he still wasn't experienced enough, feeling that he needed to have more under his belt before strapping up for good.

Now, there were really no excuses left. Pirating had become, more or less, his life. Jaxon had spent months and months apprenticing as a gunner, and he'd loved every day of it. He knew his way around any and every weapon like they were extensions of his own body. He'd grown to be a skilled fighter, and there was no doubt he could hold his own. And perhaps most importantly, Jaxon had earned a reputation. He'd done so much work for various different gangs and crews as a temp that his name was quick to come up when a captain was having an emergency and needed a fill-in.

It was this complete and utter lack of excuses, this timing-out of his procrasinating what he'd known was coming for ages, that had Jaxon agreeing when he received word that a captain named Ari was interested in him. Ari, who Jaxon was sure he'd heard of at some point, was looking for a permanent gunner and weapons specialist on board his ship. Jaxon told his friend to hold off on getting back to Ari while he dug up the dirt..

Maybe it should have turned him off, but when he heard words like 'weirdo' and 'punkass', Jaxon only grew more curious about Ari. He truly had no interest in the predictable and the simple. He didn't want to be led by some run-of-the-mill space pirate who thought he was a badass but was in fact a complete idiot, or worse yet, a boring coward with no right to be a captain or even have his own ship. Jaxon figured weird suited him fairly well--more than boring, at least, so long as it meant an adventure and a good group of people.

This thought helped Jaxon to relax as he entered the Sienna Star, though he still didn't know what to expect. He'd gotten a vague idea of what Ari looked like from his connection, but he didn't see anyone fitting the description of 'rainbow hair hottie' (Whatever the hell that meant). Jaxon made his way to the bar and ordered himself a drink, taking a seat as he continued to look around. It was late Friday night, and the bar was incredibly crowded. There was a possibility he'd missed Ari, so Jaxon figured he'd keep his eyes open. He had a distinct feeling that this meeting was going to be interesting.

The place was packed, which was all well and good. It meant you could have a discussion without worrying about being over-heard--not that Ari was spilling any deep, dark secrets or anything. It was all common knowledge shit that anyone who knew of him would know. Besides, wasn't like he was the only criminal here; the Cancer was a hub for all that sort of activity.

Glancing around the bar, Ari scanned for people who fit the description he'd been given: a thin, blond dude with horns. Yeah, he wasn't gonna lie, the horn thing was pretty exciting, but he'd always had a thing for the exotic and different--which was pretty damned obvious, considering his white hair dyed rainbow, menagerie of piercings, and the tattoos that, one day, were going to cover his entire body if he had anything to say about it. Living art, that's what people were, and the flaws and quirks were what made them interesting.

Not that he'd really ever say that out loud, not to most people. He had his rep to consider and that was too sentimental for even him.

Dressed in his usual scrubby outfit of cargo pants, combat boots, and a sleeveless shirt, the only accessory he currently sported was an automatic holstered to his thigh. Never leave home without it and all, just in case.

Hm. Maybe the dude wasn't here yet. May as well hit the bar in the meantime! Shouldering through the crowd, he headed toward the bar and then, as a group parted, he saw him.

Or rather, them.

Horns, golden and curving above a blond head.

Bingo! Had to be his man.

Heading on over, he paused behind the guy and placed his hands over his eyes. "Guess who."

Not the most professional intro, but sometimes he just couldn't help himself.

Jaxon was just starting to relax, leaning against the bar nursing a glass of whiskey and wondering what was in store for the evening, when he felt someone come up close behind him and put his hands over his eyes. He closed them instintively and froze before slowly placing his drink down. "Guess who," a smooth and unfamiliar voice came to him. He arched a brow, wondering if it was indeed Ari. This was no greeting common among his gang, or a way in which anyone he'd worked with would dare greet him. It wasn't that Jaxon was short tempered, he rarely ever grew angry, but he had the sort of exterior that could be intimidating. Speaking of intimidating, if this was Ari then Jaxon was surprised at his idea of a good first impression.

"Ari." he started, tone unquestioning. He seized the stranger's arms and lowered them, turning to face the other. Well if it wasn't the punkass rainbow haired weirdo himself. He had quite the startling appearance, and Jaxon rather paled in comparison.

Though Jaxon had his quirks, they were simple in nature and he wore them- the fangs, the horns- with a casual attitude that seemed to neutralize his features. Overall he seemed attractive but relatively average: messy dirty blond hair with some lighter, sandy strands, piercingly blue eyes, and sharp features. He was dressed down in his typical gunning gear; all black and tight with combat boots, and a few leather wristbands, along with his straps for guns.. Only one on him at the moment, though. He noted that Ari was armed, too, and grinned, flashing the fangs.

"I'm Jaxon. Or Fang as you've probably heard on the street," he offered, thrusting his hand forward to shake. "And wondering what your plan had been if I wasn't your guy. But then I guess I stand out?"

Ari figured this could end in a variety of ways.

The guy could either take this well--if understandably surprised and weirded out, but hey, Ari did like to troll--or he could react not-so-well and respond with fists or weapons.

He was prepared for either, muscles tense and fully prepared to spring away if the dude freaked out.

Fortunately he didn't, and Ari grinned when he said his name, arms dropping down as the man grabbed and lowered them. "Good job, a winner is you!"

Stepping back to give Jaxon (thank gods he'd gotten the right guy) space, he let his eyes roam over him for a moment, taking in all the pointy bits, the messy hair, and the boyishly handsome face at odds with it all. He had looked fairly intimidating from the back, but from the front? He was just a kid, really. Cute one, too, though he wasn't going to call him that--at least not before he knew his sense of humor. He wanted the guy on his crew, after all, and he'd already pushed some boundaries.

"What can I say? I like takin' risks," Ari said with a grin, grabbing Jaxon's hand and giving it a firm shake. "If you weren't my man, well...here's hopin' I could either fight or charm my way outta the mix-up, eh? Anyhow, nice to meetcha, Jax. Mind if I call ya Jax? 'Cause I think I will."

Releasing Jaxon's hand, Ari slid into the seat next to him. "So I hear you're lookin' for a position."

Jaxon chuckled as Ari told him he liked taking risks-- there was a sentiment he could appreciate. He was one for risks himself, and he was looking for a crew that would offer him some fun and adventure, maybe a few life-threatening ones. As Ari began speaking, Jaxon had to smile. The guy seemed friendly and easygoing- not your typical space pirate, either.

"Knock yourself out," he confirmed. He usually went by his alias, but if he was in line to be a permanent member, why bother? Jaxon figured he might as well start off on the right foot. In any case, he was no gang member anymore. He didn't need the garish give-you-heck street name. He was a gunner now.

As Ari sat down beside him commenting on the job, Jaxon returned to his seat as well. "I hear you're looking for a weapons specialist," he returned with a smile. Before he took another sip of his drink, he gestured to the bartender and called out for another whiskey- this one for Ari. Jaxon slid a few bills across the table, taking it upon himself to pay. Manners were hardly appreciated among space pirates but alcohol always was, and Jaxon knew how to get on a person's good side if he so wished it. "I don't know what you've heard exactly, but I'm sure you've heard of me," (and that wasn't a matter of cockiness, just of confidence) "I've done a lot of gunning for plenty of crews around here. Looking to strap down with a good crew."

"I've heard good things, is what," Ari said, and took a sip of the whiskey as soon as the bartender slid it over to him, savoring the burn. "And you're on the fast track to winnin' me over, darlin'. Quickest way to my heart's through alcohol, how'd you know?"

Setting the glass down, he leaned his arms on the bar. "Anyhow, in all seriousness, I've heard you're a hard worker. Heard ya were in a gang before ya went to piracy. Heard ya worked your way up from the bottom--which I can definitely appreciate. I certainly haven't heard any bad things--well, not bad as far as our ilk goes. So you've got experience and ya know what you're gettin' into, which means I don't have to bother givin' you the usual drill I give rookies. I assume ya know the risks of what we do. I run a pretty varied gig; we do everything from transportin' goods to people to runnin' raids on cargo ships so, y'know..."

He grinned and took another swig. "If you're lookin' for a wild ride, we're it, buddy."

Jaxon flashed Ari his trademark grin in reply, content with the knowledge that there was good word on the streets regarding his work. It wasn't as though he would have cared, had their been any negative comments-- so long as they weren't to do with his gunning. If there was one thing he put his all into, it was gunning and weaponry. He loved the both of them, and he worked hard for every crew he'd worked for. At the comment about winning Ari over, Jax laughed easily. "You're not the only one," he replied- which was true. Jaxon was much the same, and his closest friends were, too. Alcohol was the surest way to a gang member or pirate's heart. Actually, the rule probably applied to anyone who could be found on Cancer.

Jax noticed as Ari relaxed, getting comfortable with his drink, and mirrored that. He could tell that Ari wasn't going to be too rigid or formal in this interview- if it could even be called such- and he didn't need to strive to impress. This felt more like a drink with a friend. "All true," he confirmed Ari's list of rumors with a smile before taking a sip of the whiskey. It was the strong stuff here, just the way he liked it. "Variation and a wild ride, sounds like my idea of a good time," he nodded. "How big is the crew? Got any other gunners? I'd like to know who I'd be working with, if you don't mind."

"Yeah, no prob. I don't expect ya to be comfortable joinin' up blind. Hell, if ya want, you could meet 'em before you sign up," Ari said, and winked. "Y'know, just to be sure I'm not some slaver gonna sell off a pretty thing like you. For the record: naw, I wouldn't. Too greedy."

He paused to mentally calculate his crew members, then continued. "Our numbers are smaller than usual right now. All of us are weapon-proficient, 'cause I ain't havin' folks on board that can't defend themselves. Liability and all. I take crew safety seriously. But no gunners, currently. Right now we've got Bjarte, resident midget medic; Alia, our kickass sexy Pilot; me, your charmin' captain. And, well..."

Ari lifted his shoulders briefly. "Then there's Riot. Dunno what he is, yet, but don't concern yourself with 'im. We just dropped off some mechanics, they were just temps, so we're docked right now to get some new hires in."

Jaxon only smiled at Ari's flirtatious comments, shaking his head as he laughed. It wasn't a bashful expression of disinterest- Jax was all for casual hook-ups, though he'd wait a bit before going for his prospective captain and flirting back. Besides, the flirting was more interesting than exciting- It was interesting because Jaxon saw himself in the other pirate. And though it was a surprise, it was a good one. He found a sort of contentment knowing that Ari was similar to him- at least socially. Jaxon, too, was easygoing and playful, and he had a bad habit of being quite a flirt if he was in the mood, particularly after a couple of drinks. Knowing Ari was like him in those ways... He had a feeling they would enable each other and it would make for a lot of fun if he decided to strap up with the crew.

Listening to the talk about the crew, Jaxon quirked a brow. The crew was small, but they didn't sound bad. And no gunners? That was a good start in his opinion. It would give Jaxon seniority over gunners who joined after him, and Hell, with this small of a crew, he would have seniority anyway. Jaxon wasn't interested in being treated like a rookie- the fact of the matter was that he was experienced. And respect was important to him in his work... Couldn't get shit done if people were questioning your actions. So although the crew was quite limited in numbers, Jaxon saw it as a positive more than a negative, it was an opportunity to solidify a good position. Plus, he'd seen his gang expand and flourish over the past few years, and if he was going to join a crew, he wanted it to be like that.. Something he was a part of right from the start. He didn't want to be the last one hopping on to a crew with members of ten years.

At the mention of Bjarte, Jaxon checked back into the conversation and almost laughed. He knew Bjarte- had known him for awhile in fact, from when he ran a back-alley clinic. His gang was in and out of that place more than their own headquarters. He didn't comment though, just found the coincidence amusing and smiled a bit. "It sounds good," he said finally, after a moment of thoughtful silence. Jaxon took a swig of his whiskey, finishing it and sliding the glass down for a refill. "I was expecting to be disappointed, but I'm not." Naturally, his idea of a compliment was convoluted. "Although.. You're not living up to the punkass weirdo rep right now," Jaxon teased.

Sweet, so he didn't freak the fuck out about the comment. That was a plus in his book, because Ari's dial was almost always set to "flirtatious". It came naturally to him and he basically couldn't control it or the pet names that slipped off his tongue. If the guy wanted to be a crew member, he had to deal with it because it was just the way he was. Fuck, he was pretty sure even if he tried to have a normal conversation he'd do something that looked or sounded like a come-on.

This was a good sign!

And already he was seeing potential in the guy. He seemed laid back and easy-going, bought him alcohol, and...

Not living up to the rep, huh?

"Oh yeah? That a challenge?" Ari's grin broadened and he arched his pierced eyebrow. And here he'd been holding back, been on his best and most professional behavior! Punkass weirdo, huh? Was that what people were saying about him? Awesome! He downed the rest of his drink, copied Jax by sliding his glass forward for more, and then swept a look up and down Jax's body.

"Whatcha say to body shots to seal the deal, eh?"

Jaxon snorted out an amused laugh when Ari took the tease as a direct challenge, glad that the pirate wasn't easily offended and could take some ribbing. After all, Jax's primary way of dealing with people was to tease them, mock them, physically harm them, or just generally give them hell. Any other form of communication couldn't amuse him for very long.

Maybe he should have been alarmed when Ari gave him a look that meant he was getting ready to turn up the punkass weirdo charm, but he wasn't. Jaxon waited patiently, that entertained smile still playing on his face as he wondered what Ari would send his way. Body shots? Not quite what he expected, but not a bad idea. It had been awhile since he'd done that. And he wasn't the type to say no- never a wet blanket, always ready to mess around. Jaxon's reply was to turn to the bartender, "A line of tequila shots over here." He shot Ari a grin. "You wanna get on the table first?" he laughed. This was going to get some attention. Not that he cared. If anything it would amuse the hell out of him to get a text from a friend like 'Heard you did tequila shots with some tatted up pirate at the Sienna Star'.

Yep, Jax was a keeper.

Best recruitment ever.

Laughing, the words were barely out of Jax's mouth before Ari was out of his seat and clearing the table, shoving glasses aside. It was fortunate that there weren't many people sitting at the bar because there wasn't much to move, though if anyone complained they could just suck it. "Ya even gotta ask? Now make it count, 'cause this'll factor into your bi-annual review."

By the time the bartender returned with the shots, he'd cleared an area big enough, stripped off his shirt and tossed it into Jax's lap, and hopped up onto the table. The shots came with salt and a side of sliced limes and Ari snagged a lime wedge before he laid down.

He waggled his eyebrows at Jax. "Cheers, mate!" he said before holding the lime between his teeth and getting comfortable.

Jaxon couldn't hold back his laughter as Ari shoved glasses aside carelessly, tearing off his shirt and tossing it right into his lap as he got comfortable. When the bartender arrived with the shots and a side of salt and lime, the look on his face was priceless- it was a look only a bartender could really master.. Annoyance, exhaustion, and not even a dash of surprise or anything resembling impressed.

The patrons close enough to watch, though, were quite the opposite. The Sienna Star had a reputation for being rowdy, and nobody went if they weren't interested in theatrics.. After all, going to the Sienna Star begged not the question 'Will there be a fight' but 'Will the fight be armed or unarmed' and more importantly 'Who will take their top off' and 'How many people will be found passed out in front of the bar in the morning'. Clearly, the night's show was in their hands now, Jaxon noted with amusement.

He set down Ari's shirt and reached for the salt, sprinkling a line from his navel up to his chest, before placing the shot of tequila down on his sternum where the line ended. So much for not hitting on the prospective Captain, Jaxon thought to himself conclusively before standing and approaching the other. He dipped his head down, hands on either side of Ari's torso, and slowly, teasingly licked the stripe of salt before taking the shot. Not even giving himself time to recover from the burn of the liquor, Jaxon leaned forward again and took the lime boldly, almost letting their lips touch before pulling back with a grin. He reached up and held the wedge, sucking out its contents before placing the rind down. "How'd I do, Captain?" he teased with a smirk, stepping back to let Ari get down.

So he'd come here expecting to get some stuffy badass dude and was about to walk away with a chill, competent guy who wasn't afraid of letting his hair down. He needed more of those on his crew! Sure, Ari didn't mind playing captain, but it had been a long time since he'd had someone on board that he could pal around with and, well, when you were stuck out in space for weeks at a time? Yeah, talk about climbing the walls. And if this was setting the stage for things to come? Well, shit.

It was the best of all worlds.

Showtime!

Jax obviously wasn't shy, what with the liberal trail of salt, and Ari wasn't either. And seeing as they'd drawn some attention, Ari, ever the attention whore, decided to ham it up. As Jax leaned down and went at it, Ari stretched his arms over his head and arched his back, tilted his head, and let out a low, porn-star moan. While that was just theatrics, the shivering, slight squirming, and goosebumps were legit, and he had to bite down a little harder on the lime to keep from laughing as Jax hit a particularly sensitive spot on his belly.

Guy had a skilled tongue and he wasn't ashamed to enjoy it. And sue him, so he was mildly ticklish, too.

And when he finally took the lime, he grinned up at Jax. Would've been so easy to just go all the way. Tease.

"Made me all tingly in my swimsuit areas," Ari answered as he pushed himself upright and swung down from the bar. He brushed salt from his chest then licked it from his fingers, slowly. "I give it a passing grade. Alright, your turn, darlin'. Chop, chop!" He snapped his fingers and pointed to the bar.

After facing Ari's pornstar-esque moaning and arching, Jaxon wasn't sure if he was more amused, surprised, or turned on. Typically there were more unwilling participants in games of body shots than willing, and then eager was an even rarer find. But, shit, was Ari eager. And Jaxon liked that. It had been awhile since he'd messed around like this and it sure brought back memories. There had been that great, comfortable, and carefree period of his life between his depression and starting pirating wherein he'd just fooled around with the gang and gotten in all sorts of trouble.. This was sort of like that. Except more voyeuristic, and with a smaller group.

Jaxon laughed at Ari's reply, eyebrows arched as he was ordered around. "Bossy, but I'll bite," he replied, sticking his tongue out playfully before pulling his shirt off and climbing on the table. He laid back and took the lime, baring his fangs and sinking them in. He smirked a bit, feeling the eyes of the bar-goers on them. Him, particularly. And okay, maybe it was a little hot, though he was sure the alcohol had something to do with his being easy to excite.

"Well, I am the boss," Ari replied, and he didn't even try to hide the fact that he was checking Jax out. The guy had a good body, slim and wiry, though his eyes kept getting drawn back to his more eclectic bits, the horns and ears and...tattoo? He caught a flash of it on Jax's shoulder and was instantly curious as to what the story behind it was. Because they all had a story; each one of his did, whether it was "oh, yeah, this has actual meaning" or "it looks really neat when you're high".

But that was a question for later! Right now, he had a cute new recruit laid out before him and a row of shots that needed their attention!

As soon as Jax was in position, he sprinkled a trail of salt from his navel to his chest, put the shot in place, and leaned over Jax as he went to work. He took his time, flicking his tongue against him, licking up salt and tasting skin, and since Jax had called his rep into question he took it just a tad further. Not one to be outdone, he accompanied that with a few playful nibbles here and there, a few light nips, and when he reached the gunner's chest he wasn't afraid to drag his tongue over a nipple. Whoops! Must have gotten some salt there, better get it!

Then he pounded back the shot, tangled a hand in Jax's hair just below his horns, and drew them close together as he took the lime between his teeth. Tempting as it was to just spit the lime to the side and consume his mouth instead, he behaved; he pulled back, sucked out the juice, and flashed Jax a smug grin.

"Tasty. I could get drunk on ya, for sure."

Literally. He already felt all warm and happy and pleasantly buzzed.

Jaxon watched with amusement as Ari sprinkled an equally liberal trail down his chest. Though it seemed that the captain would replicate his own approach to the game, he had enough a taste of Ari's personality to know that there wouldn't be a dull moment. It was hard enough not to let out a moan when Ari's tongue met skin, but the nibbles here and there were even harder to ignore. Jaxon took a sharp breath at the first one and held it to keep himself from moaning (because unlike Ari he wasn't into the pornstar thing)... But he couldn't hold it long, because soon his tongue met his nipple and Jaxon let out a long groan. Oops, the biting fetish was uncovered anyway, he thought absently and a little drunkenly because the alcohol was setting in.

He hardly had a moment to get over Ari's minstrations because there was a hand in his hair. Jaxon followed as he was led, surprised when Ari didn't kiss him and a little alarmed that he was taking the bait. Another oops- it was starting to look like he would hook up with the captain. Not tonight, but eventually? That was in the cards. Ari's smug grin only made Jaxon smirk back as he sat up and got down from the bar. Their little crowd seemed entertained, he noted before turning his attention to Ari.

"Maybe you will," Jax replied, throwing in a wink for good measure. Okay, so he was a little more than buzzed. He was about to ask Ari if he was interested in another round when two drunks from the crowd came over and helped themselves to the shots to play their own round. Jaxon laughed at that interruption, putting down only enough bills for the shots they'd had and gathering their clothes. He slipped back into his own shirt and handed Ari his before standing back to watch. "Looks like we started something," he laughed as the drunk girl shed her top.

Jax's reaction was duly noted! So he liked a little teeth, eh? Ari filed away that knowledge for later, because you never knew when it might come in handy. Ari, for one, hoped it would be useful sooner rather than later because dammit, that had turned him on no small amount.

And this had to be a record of some sort. Ari was free with his body, sure, but when it came to recruiting crew? People rarely took his flirting seriously and hardly ever played back, and he didn't expect them to, anyway. Or they acted annoyed or indifferent--which was fine, so long as they weren't offended and could take a joke, because he was not serious business except when he had to be. Shit, he hardly hooked up with anyone outside a bar, cruising for dudes and chicks that were also cruising for a "no-attachments, let's just make each other feel good" one night stand. This was kind of refreshing, even if it went no further than this.

And lookit that. They were trend-setters, too!

Laughing, Ari watched the couple's hijinks and then scoffed in disappointment. "Pffft, leavin' the bra? That's cheatin'! Go all the way or go home, we flashed our nipples!"

Grinning, he casually slung an arm around Jax's shoulder and leaned against him, buddy-like. He was still shirtless, having forgotten to put it back on, and instead had just tossed it over his shoulder. "Maybe if we're lucky there'll be lesbians. Anyway, I dunno 'bout ya, but I ain't drunk enough. And the Sassy--she's my baby--she looks even better when you're boozed up, lemme tell ya." Then he paused and blinked at Jax.

"Oh yeah. So ya in or what?"

Jaxon began to laugh a bit as Ari criticized the players of the next round- in particular, the girl on the bar table and the fact that she was still wearing a bra... Something that disappointed him, too. He only laughed more as the captain threw an arm around him and started talking about lesbians. This was all much funnier than it would have been sober- almost ridiculously funny, and he didn't even try to hide his amusement at Ari's bold and honest statements. He managed to regain his composure again at the mention of the ship and joining the crew. He'd almost forgotten the entire reason he was with this ragtag space captain at the Sienna Star... Becoming a gunner, permanently. Jaxon's face turned almost serious, though it wasn't going to last too long, considering that he was well on his way to being drunk.

"As a personal rule, I try not to make decisions after a glass of whiskey and a shot of tequila..." Jaxon managed to explain somberly, though he suddenly snickered at his own lie, "Except if the decision is an attractive person." Even tipsy and happy and laughing at everything, Jaxon knew that there was a good chance he'd be strapping up with Ari's crew. He was just a little too mature to say it while under the influence of strong alcohol. "It's pretty much a yes, but.. Let's go see the ship," Jaxon said happily. "I hope you have whiskey on this ship.." he added, as he trailed out of the bar.

"Y'high? Course I've got booze on board!" Ari said with a grin, his Edani accent starting to thicken into a slur as the alcohol filtered up to his brain. Not that there was much of a difference between the way he behaved buzzed versus sober; it wasn't like he needed liquid courage as he generally always said and did exactly what he wanted to.

"Th' fuck else ya gonna do in space? Aside from each other. Wouldn't be opposed to that, by the by. Just sayin'. You're hot and horny."

With a laugh, he tugged Jax along with him as he headed out the door, pausing only when he heard the other drunks start cheering. Twisting to look behind them, his grin widened. "Well, whaddya know. Lesbians. Sweet."

He didn't pause long, though, because now they were on a mission. Starting up again, he pat Jax on the back. "Anyhow, it's good to have ya almost on board, pal."
