Where We Will We'll Roam (Galadan and Okami)

"You gotta admit bunking with Amelia again will be interesting." Taros was pulling a strap of a bag up onto his shoulder as they walked down the docks. His large size made the woman next to him look small and nonthreatening. Inali had a duffle bag hooked over her shoulders that was packed to bulging. Taros wore a tight black plain t-shirt and a pair of jeans. Inali was wearing a pair of tight black pants and a loose red shirt.

Taros was carrying the four other bags. One benefit of being a cyborg was that he could be the baggage handler. Inali wasn't by any means weak but sometimes technology trumped the mystical. He always tried to convince her of it anyway. She normally just created a simple illusion that made him look dumb to shut him up. He swore sometimes she was such a grumpy old fox that stuck her nose up at technology and didn't really want to understand how it worked.

Inali rolled her eyes at him. Inali had no issues with Amelia really, it was a friendly competitive sort of relationship. Inali had missed the cat girl actually. It had been years since she'd seen the other spacer. They'd had the problem of butting heads occasionally. When worse came to worse however Inali would never choose another lady pirate at her side. Amelia could steer her way out of anything. She was resourceful, clever and quick. Her curiosity was a brilliant attribute even though it sometimes lead to problems. Amelia had good instincts too, at least when it came to a job, outside of that her choices could get a little...strange.

It would be nice to have the old crew back together. Inali was really nervous about seeing Duncan though. Nervous and excited all at once. They hadn't seen each other in person since their last job that went south. They all had to split up to find work. If Inali was honest she missed him quite a bit...and Tika...oh Tika. That was going to be interesting indeed. She wondered if Amelia had properly warned the captain about Tika.

She shifted the weight of the bag and looked at Taros.

"I have missed the old group, even if sometimes we had..." She trailed off trying to phrase it appropriately.

"Cat fights?" He offered with a smirk playing on his lips. Inali fixed a look on him that was entirely unamused. He broke out into loud laughter at the look on her face. She shook her head at him with a smile. "Lighten up Foxy Lady. It'll all go smoothly." She scoffed at him shaking her head. Taros was loving this. He liked having the right people at his back on a mission, he liked being with them. It meant a lot to him to be able to trust the crew.

Plus, he got to hang out with Inali again. He had missed her like crazy when he was off on his own. He would never say it to her in words but he hoped she knew. He even had kinda missed Duncan. His only issue was having both of them around...each other. They seemed to have magnets in them somehow even if Inali tried to avoid relationships all together, those two just had something to them. Taros didn't think he was smart enough to figure out what it was.

"When does it ever go smoothly? Really? I mean we're almost guaranteed to run into some sort of problem..."

"That's the fun part darlin'." Amelia had been sneaking up on them. She was wearing a pair of dark green cargo capris with all sort of ties and buckles on them. She had on a white wife beater and a matching green jacket over it. Her arms were folded across her chest and the holsters hanging from her hips were obvious. She hadn't made any effort to hide who or what she was, not that she needed to on Cancer. She might as well have been wearing a cape with the jolly roger on it.

Amelia moved forward hugging Taros around the neck and kissing his cheek. She'd always had a kind of crush on the big cyborg. He laughed at her comment and lifted his bags at her.

"I'd hug ya back feline but I have too many bags. Inali can't seem to carry them on her own." He was smiling wide at her. He thought she looked just brilliant in all her pirate glory. Seeing her meant this whole thing was real. It meant they really had a crew again.

"Oh Inali, making him carry bags just because he's souped up, a man, and burly. How terrible of you." She drew Inali into a hug. The two girls were an odd pair. Amelia's dark skin stood out dramatically against Inali's dark skin. Taros sometimes wondered if maybe the two didn't get along all the time because one was a fox and one was a cat. He just knew he didn't understand women or animal women. He let them figure out their stuff on their own.

"I know I'm just terrible." Inali couldn't help but smile wide at Amelia. This was going to be fun. "Now, where's home?"

"Home is right here~!" Rastaban sang, as he leapt off the beautiful new ship he'd been checking over for last minute details and swept an arm out toward it like Manna White. It was exactly as he'd hoped any ship of his would be; sleek, slender, and known for its speed and dexterity. Just the sort of thing a space pirate needed to evade the enemy. It also happened to be outfitted with the latest in warfare technology--some of this being the sort of thing a man could only find in the black market circles. Rastaban wasn't unfamiliar with people in this line of work--one made some interesting connections during his years of boarding ships. Maybe he hadn't entered this line of work intentionally, but he wasn't going to snub his nose at it. Freedom and spoils. Oh yeah, and luscious women.

Amelia looked more like a pirate than she had the last time he'd laid eyes on her, if that was possible. He nodded approvingly at her holsters. He'd always been more of a sword type than firearms, but this was admittedly because he was far more precise with a blade; his shot was lousy and he preferred to leave the ranged work for the experts. Why be a jack of all trades and a master of none, when he could hone what he was already skilled at?

His gaze went to the two he didn't recognize. They appeared capable and they all seemed to know one another--which worked out well for him. Teamwork was essential. It could be the difference between life and death in some instances. After all, who needed a group of cutthroats who would sooner save their own hides and leave you dangling? He realized he was putting a lot in the hands of utter strangers. They could kill him and steal his ship and none would be the wiser. But now, why would they want to go and do that? They had an able bodied man in their midst. No need to go cutting him down. Besides, he'd always been better at working on his feet rather than spending too much time fretting over what could be. So far, he'd been remarkably lucky in that regard. And they said a man too trusting was a man too stupid to eat.

"She has a crew. Now she just needs a name," Rastaban said, looking fondly at the ship before regarding her new crew. "Any ideas?"

"First, Tika gonna hugs Inali.....no...no.. .wait. First Tika gonna hugs TAROS! YES! Hugs his head like a big scary squishy...no...wait . Tika gonna hugs da 'Melia first! Hasn't seen her in loooooooooooong time, Tika hasn't, nope nope. Wait...maybe Tika hugs Duncan? He looks so very very gumpy..."

Duncan did indeed look very very grumpy, and that was good because that was how he felt. The hacker was pressed as far away from the throng of people as he could possibly get. White eyes tried not to look directly at anyone as he walked through the crowd, his tall thin frame hunched over so that he didn't stick out anymore than he already did.

"Tika please, please I'm begging you, don't hug me and please shut the HELL up. We're already late getting there as it is and I don't wanna hear you the entire way."

The flying pixie-rat crossed her arms across her chest as she floated in front of him. She let out a tiny huff of agitation and blew her hair out of her face.

"Duncan turnin' into a gumpy old man without Foxey Lady around." With that she flew off ahead a ways as she continued to debate who she would hug first. Duncan sighed as he continued to feel his way against the wall through all the people. It WAS much easier to get through crowds with his friends around, hopefully they would finally strike it rich and spend the rest of their days on a desert island of a planet. He could almost see Inali in a teeny tiny bikni.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TIKA FOUNDEDEDED THEEEEEEEEEEMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!

Duncan couldn't help but smile a little as he heard the war cry of the little flying critter and as he moved his eyes up to look at his former shipmates, and the new capitan. He came up to the small crowd he got the tail end of the conversation.

"She has a crew. Now she just needs a name. Any ideas?"

Duncan couldn't help himself. "How about the S.S. Let's Go Find Some Treasure?"

"She doesn't have all her crew yet." Inali commented. Then they heard it. Amelia and Inali's ears flattened to their heads as the screech of Tika was heard on the dock. There was no mistaking that noise, not ever. Inali's head turned quickly and she started scanning the crowd and there was Duncan already snarking. She gave a massive grin in his direction and moved forward grabbing him into a hug. Amelia leaned back her arms crossed.

She could tell there was some unfinished business there. The feline leaned over towards Rastaban and whispered turning her head, but not really quiet enough to show she wasn't trying to hide her comment from the others in the circle.

"Maybe we should call it the Love Boat." Amelia smirked at Inali as she pulled away and gave her a brief glare. Taros clapped Duncan on the shoulder and Amelia crossed the small circle to wrap her arms around his waist and squeeze for a minute. Maybe just a smidge longer to make Inali jealous. She just couldn't help it. She let go and moved back and Taros shook his head looking at the two women.

"I think that's askin' for all sorts of malarkey." Taros answered. Inali smirked, it had been a long time since she had an Amelia type person around. It would be fun and challenging, which was fulfilling in so many ways. If only because she would win.

"I don't know Rastaban. Did you have any ideas?" Inali looked up at her new home and felt content for the first time in months. The ship looked good, she looked more than good. No names popped out from her memory though.

Rastaban blinked, watching all the strange hullabaloo going on around him. He had no idea who any of these people were, but he watched in amusement all the same. Better get to know them fast. Any good captain knew everybody. He took mental notes and tucked them away for safekeeping. Even the most innocuous of observations could come in handy in the future. He only hoped he remembered it when he needed it.

Grinning back at the Love Boat suggestion, he wondered at that. The Love Boat. He nearly laughed aloud at the impression such a name would strike in others. Wouldn't it be amazing if they ended up being some super important bunch? Pirates of the Love Boat, striking... well, not fear into the hearts of ship-goers everywhere. In fact, if one thought about it, Love Boat had more seductive connotations than anything else.

"I don't know. I think I actually like Love Boat," he said in amusement.
