History Plerona, like most of her kind, was born and raised on the planet of Trenope in the Pleiades. When she became an adult, she decided to travel the universe in order to learn about other species and civilizations, and also because she wishes to spread the message of hope wherever she goes, but in a way that does not infringe on anyone else's own personal beliefs. Plerona has always had the gift of telekinesis ever since she was born, and can be quite the force to be reckoned with if the situation called for it, however she mostly uses it to help others and for minor everyday purposes.
Plerona travels a lot with her brother Orion, who is a telepath. The two of them often visit many places together, including the planets of Earth and Edanith, often expressing pity for the atrocities they've witnessed from the humans and other races whom live there. Plerona has had a simple, peaceful life with her parents, brother and fellow community in which she lives in, the different homes there being constructed of many materials, primarily that of glass panels and Pleiadian Star Metal. On her travels she has seen much, both wonders and horrors alike.
Race/Species InformationTrenopians are one of the many species of Pleiadians, those that live in the Pleiades. Their general appearance is that of tall, thin and gangly humanoids with blue skin. Hair for males is always orange, while females have purple hair. They possess three eyes, their third eye being located in the area just above the normal two eyes towards the bottom of the forehead. However, instead of this third eye being horizontal like the other two are, it is placed vertically and is also slightly larger than the main two eyes. Eye color (for the main two eyes) is either gold, silver or purple. The color of the third eye is entirely dependent upon the individual's personal spiritual frame of mind and as a result it can change color throughout their lifetime. Height for both genders is around 6'5” to 7'7”, with males normally being slightly taller than the females. Trenopians favor comfortable, flowing garments in all sorts of colors.
Average lifetime for a Trenopian is 900 years, though some can exceed that to 975 years but this is uncommon and does not often occur. Once a Trenopian reaches the age of 800, they are considered an Elder and are highly respected in their various communities. An individual is considered an adult by the age of 40.
The population of Trenope is divided into communities, with each community being further divided into groups of three, sometimes four. Individual groups don't normally exceed past a certain amount, usually no more than 250, with communities as a whole averaging about 750-1000 citizens. The overall population of Trenope is about five billion.
As a whole, Trenopians are a peaceful, highly spiritually evolved people and view all others of their kind in equal regards so there is no such thing as a caste system or hierarchy of power, no royalty or nobility, commoners, servants, slaves or the like. However the Elders are usually looked up to for their great wisdom and life experiences and have been known to guide and advise their people on countless occasions. They are at their very core, a people of peace and acceptance, of tolerance and compassion. Intolerance is viewed as distasteful and appalling, whereas violence can get one exiled to the far-off prison planet of Bogatron, located beyond the Pleiades star system. This planet is well-known for being a hostile place, with a harsh environment consisting of vast wastelands, vicious predators and carnivorous plants. There are very few resources available and survival is extremely difficult there. Basically, if one were to be exiled there they are essentially being sent off to their deaths. Violence is not acceptable among their people and they strive to keep this in check, although it is a rarity that such ever happens. The percentage of exiles has only been about 1% in their entire collective history so it doesn't happen often.
For the most part, those on Trenope are a peaceful and loving people who value honesty, trustworthiness, peace, harmony, compassion, tolerance, acceptance, creativity, freedom, individuality and self-expression, as well as intelligence, knowledge and wisdom. They are also a highly psionic people, with every one of them possessing some kind of psionic gift in varying degrees. Magic on the other hand, is virtually unheard of here.
Their spiritual views are largely based on self-realization and recognizing the sacred all around them, and not any particular deities or spirits. Overall, they have a universal kind of world-view with no branches or churches to dictate what they believe in. It is very much a personalized and individual practice. No two Trenopians will ever have the same set of beliefs.
Their language is Rastiika, a soft sounding language where the words are represented in pictorial format in a sort of calligraphic script. All Trenopians are literate in both reading and writing their language and they have many books on many subjects in vast libraries on Trenope. They also can speak many languages found throughout the universe, including the common tongue of humans. After all, knowledge and communication is important to their people.
Trenopians are strong allies with the Hatuni, an alien race that live nearby the dog star Sirius, on the planet of Hatune. Their alliance has lasted for many generations.
With certain advances in their technology, Trenopians are able to build small space shuttles for individual or small group travel to various planets and star systems. These shuttles are powered by a super-fuel that has been significantly enhanced by their Hatuni allies. This substance is called Plasmium and with it Trenopians can travel very far distances in an extremely fast time period. These space shuttles are designed with two different travel speeds, that of Light Speed and the other being Regular Speed. Obviously, Light Speed can travel at the speed at light for instantaneous travel nearly anywhere, whereas Regular Speed while slower, still offers a very quick travel time able to travel to places in less than half the time it would normally take to get somewhere. The shuttles are made of Pleiadian Star Metal, a strong black metal that is in plentiful supply on their home planet. These vessels are also equipped with a tough energetic shield that is only used in cases of possible attacks on them. The shield, while being extremely hardy and strong, able to withstand much, is by no means invincible either. So far, there has been little need to utilize it as any attacks sent their way have been few and far between. As Trenopians do not condone violence, their mode of 'attack' is to simply flee using Light Speed, rendering the enemy hard pressed to follow to catch up with them.
Other forms of technology include various control panels and viewing panels, the latter of which is used to watch and record certain historical events on many planets and space stations. The devices are installed with psionic orbs that allow them to access a plethora of information that would not normally be available to their people otherwise. One of the most crucial reasons for these viewing panels is to keep tabs on any foe that would cause harm to their people or the planet in general. The Trenopians also maintain their watch to help out the Hatuni as well from any such invasions and possible attacks that the Hatuni may suffer or may not be fully aware of. The reach of these devices is pretty far but they do have their limits, as the further they try to access information the system will start to fail or refuse to work altogether. The Trenopians rely on using their psionics to power a lot of their technology, making it more efficient and more reliable than it would be without it.
