Backstory:
Talika was born into a middle-class family. Although she always had a knack for helping people no matter what. From an early age she was dead set on becoming a doctor. She knew all of her humanoid anatomy by age 12. Just in time for her to be drafted to become a pilot. She was born with both cryo and pyrokinesis and using her telepathy to calm victims down mentally. She learned to use this to her advantage whenever treating wounds and injuries.
The day before she was drafted into Pilot school, she witnessed a massive accident on a nearby road. Without even warning her mother, she leaped out of the moving car attempting to break her fall as much as she could on the road and ran over to help while EMS was still en route. But there was a major problem, she couldn't access her powers, she didn't know why or how they just disappeared but she had no time to worry about that. Thus she made do with her hair pins and sewing needles on hand (most of the victims had organs spilling out and it needed immediate attention). A mentor observed this whole scene, once EMS had arrived to handle the rest of the victims, she came over to Talika and praised her for her valiant effort. Talkia informed her about becoming a pilot, and the mentor told her that she would be honored to be with her for her candidacy.
Albeit rough, she put her heart and soul into becoming a pilot. She was paired with a dragon named Axton who saw the fire of passion in her eye. Now she currently works as one of the best researchers for her age at DoSaM and is a resident surgeon on standby. She's been revently studying neurosurgery as well.
Personality: In general: Talika is a warm hearted individual, she's a young grandma who loves and cares for everyone. Just her smile brings warmth, kindness, and a sense of happiness. She is passionate and determined individual for everything she does. She respects people that are clearly higher than her and have merit to them.
When it comes to friendships, there's no one better to be around during rough times. Talika will take a day off work if she has to just to cheer someone up. Her friends can always rely on her for comfort and wacky shenanigans. But she does know when there's nothing she can do and acts accordingly.
As far as work goes, from the moment she clocks in it's go time. Even though she's an echo, she works her tail off. Her kindness and passion for helping people translates into her work, she is always busy doing non-stop round the clock research to help reduce the death of Pilots be it with implants, cybernetics, or anything. She is also one of best surgeons for her age, she works very well under pressure.
She has two major flaws: first off she's really bad with love. Even someone remotely attractive makes her become a nervous wreck. She starts to stutter a lot and usually winds up laughing or giggling uncontrollably.
The second is that with her kindness, she tends to lean towards the gullible side. She takes practically everything as truth, and unless she hears it in someone's voice or it's obvious in a text, she cannot for the life of her identify sarcasm.
Appearance: Talika is a tall tan woman with beautiful brown hair that she almost always keeps in a messy bunl. She has slightly poor vision thus she has glasses on 90% of the time. When not in uniform she likes to wear leggings with leg warmers, a t-shirt with her favorite show on it (usually) and a jacket or sweater that matches color wise. And boots, she loves boots.
