A tall black man stepped off a passenger ship called the Lucy and walked down the necessary aisles and corridors until he was allowed to stop moving without being accused of loitering. He'd spotted a few interesting people on the ship with him, but as he waited for one of them to appear, it seemed that they'd either managed to get off before him or had gone a different way. Rats. That prim old woman in cabin G4 would've been perfect.
Marius was a fairly prim man himself. He kept himself in shape, ate well, shaved often and never swore. He held himself in an assertive but not aggressive posture (except when he was working, such as now, when he slouched against the wall looking bored) and spoke in a refined voice that spoke of a well-travelled and educated man. Many women looked at him with admiration, actually, but when he showed no interest in them at all they pronounced him a homosexual (the more spiteful chose words like paedophile, gold-digger, sick) and left.
Soon the rush of people trickled and then dried up completely and he looked behind him, wondering if he should leave. Something compelled him to stay, so he resettled himself and looked down at his hands, hidden in the pockets of his dark grey/brown trench.
