Physical Description
Uriel is an imposing as she is reclusive.  Standing in at 5’9” and weighing in at 136lbs she commands a certain amount of terror.  While to men this might seem small it’s undercut by her fame as a high ranking Pilot.  Nearly flawless alabaster skin is one of her trademarks, though underneath her clothes there is quite a few tattoos.  Long dark green, almost to being black, hair cascades down her back and ends just above her shapely rear.  Her body is toned and slim from years of training.  To round her all out she has deep amber eyes, that seem to catch and hold people in them.

Uriel is odd in that she’s Aedolian who actually prefers to wear the uniform for casual wear.  Heck, even her living space is actually quite spartan. That is of course except for the mounds of books.  Wall to wall coverage and stacks of them just sitting around in her living room.  She has few dresses, and those that she does own are actually quite passive.

Personality
Uriel tends to shy away from the publicity associated with being a high ranking pilot.  Growing up far below the hype and fanfare actually means nothing to her.  Uriel is kind and caring to others, if she remembers to look up from her book.  Though she rarely talks, her voice is soft and sweet.  She has a fondness for Pilot Candidates and will actually often enough visit and give encouragement.

Her greatest love, even more than her love of books, is oddly satiated by her occupation.  Flying.  As a child she used to look up from the ground of Haviah and wonder what it would be like to be unbound from the earth.  To soar through the air.  When her psychic powers manifested she was quick to want to join to become a Pilot.

She has an intensely strong bond to her dragon, Abaddon.  The large black dragon, though namely only caring about destroying things, actually enjoys the company of the soft-hearted rider.  In battle the two seem less like soldiers and more a pair of dancers, as they weave through the air reaping death in their wake.

Magic/Abilities
Telepathy: Uriel is a descently strong telepath, easily able to skim through weaker minds.  However, in combat she focuses it more to seemingly make impossible escapes or dodges.

Telekinesis: Uriel’s forte.  Her ability to manipulate objects with her mind is actually quite terrifying.  Her specialized combat suit comes with diamond shaped metal plates that form almost wings.  In combat she uses these to whirl around her like a rotating shield, or shunts them off spinning to tear through enemies.  The ending spectacle usually is bloody enough to delight Abaddon to no end.  Outside of combat, she usually carries a couple of thin blades with which to use in self defense.

Relationships
Abaddon: The black dragon of destruction.  Abaddon is a sadistic dragon that revels in the shear amount of destruction he can cause.  Nothing gives him greater joy than crush impudent inferior creatures beneath him.  He does however find pleasure in his rider’s simplistic love of flying, and the freedom it gives her.  He also does enjoy her singing, and is actually the reason why she hasn’t become a popstar as well, as he jealously keeps that for himself.  He is not adverse to the idea of Uriel finding a human partner for herself, but isn’t exactly keen on the idea either.  Still, what brings Uriel joy is for her to find.

History
Uriel was born down at the very bottom of Haviah.  A child of poverty and poor circumstances.  She would constantly look up towards the sky, though she couldn’t see it, and wonder what it was like.  She lived a poor life, by Aedolian standards, but never really complained.  When she manifested her powers, she ran to nearest authorities and exploded in joy when she told him that she was a psychic.  She was taken for testing and then sent off to Pilot Candidate school.

In school she was a quiet and reserved girl, and didn’t make friends.  Instead she focused solely on training.  She wasn’t a prodigy or genius, just a very hard worker.  Her real shining moment in school was her ability to quickly and efficiently use telekinesis, but to start mastering it.  By the end of school she was sometimes referred to as “Angel” as she would flit through the hallways with a halo of objects floating above her head.

It was Abaddon that would choose her.  At the end when she was presented before the dragons, Abaddon quickly found interest with the girl and took her under his wing.  It was the greatest moment of her life when they first flew together.  The unbridled joy she felt, song through Abaddon’s mind and even any other telepath that was near.  Tears of joy streamed from her face as they dove and banked through the endless skies.

Combat was all together different.  The first time…she wet herself in fear.  Abaddon chastised her severely. However, the next time she detached herself.  It became gradually easier and easier for her to kill people.  She didn’t relish it, and in fact kind of hated herself for it.  But it was a private thing, and she wanted to make Abaddon proud of her.

Uriel flew on many many missions.  Slowly moving up in the ranks.  She now flies as a Royal, the highest she could hope to aspire to.
