[Twilight]

Twilight docked with the large space station. She was about to leave the ship when she realized she had almost forgot her hard earned goods in the armory. Her ship wasn't very big so it didn't take too long. After retrieving the backpack of goods she got from the latest ship she sacked Twilight left her ship and searched for the black market dealer she always went to. He bought good from her parents and now he bought them from her. He was practically family.

Even though Twilight had been to the station many times she still found it hard to navigate through all the people. Then there were the creeps who were always looking for their next victim. The fact that she wore an obviously stuffed backpack and was traveling the station on her own made her odds of being targeted that much higher. If she really needed to she could fend anyone off with her lightning abilities, but she didn't want to reveal those capabilities as it would cause her much trouble. She could consider her unrestricted life style gone forever.

Twilight finally found the shop she was looking for. She walked in and saw the bald man known as Bob talking to a customer. Once he was finished she walked up and greeted him. "Hey Bob hope you didn't miss me too much. Mind if we go into the back room?" Bob didn't even reply he just locked the door and led Twilight to the back room where she would show him the goods she had for sale. As usual Bob was happy with her catch and payed Twilight the credits she was looking for.

After receiving her money Twilight decided to go pleasure shopping. Though she didn't really know what she wanted so she just went from shop to shop till she found something that struck her interest. She was in some need of some hand held weapons as her current equipment wasn't very good. Twilight walked into a shop that had many modified weapons all of which were very interesting. She decided to stick around and see what she liked most.

[Nomad]

Standing by himself in the same shop that Twilight resided in, the red haired male shifted his gaze as he looks over a knife he had picked up. " Hmmm, " he mumbled lightly to himself, at the moment his attention was fixed on the knife he is looking over. " This one... or maybe that one. " he again mumbles, lifting his gaze to look at another knife as he puts the one he is holding up and grabs the other he spotted. After putting the knife up he picks up the other one, a larger and more deadlier looking blade.

Picking up the second knife he scans over it for a moment as he grips it by the handle. " This one looks like it could do some damage. " He says with a nod as he shifts, turning to his side and with out knowing it, he turned to face Twilight. As he turns he brings the knife up and swings it through the air as if he were attacking someone with it, though it was clear their was no one within range of the knife and he was not intending to harm anyone with it but merely trying the weapon out.

[Twilight]

Twilight was looking at some interesting guns. Her favorite so far was a semi auto rifle that used energy as ammo. If she ever ran out of ammo she could just generate her own. Suddenly out of the corner of her eye Twilight saw someone swing a knife in her direction. Since it was only out of the corner of her eye she didn't have the depth perception to know he was well out of range. Twilight quickly stepped back, turned to the man, and pulled out her own personal knife. After realizing she had over reacted Twilight spun the blade in her hand and re sheathed it. "You really ought to look less serous when you're getting the feel for a blade." Twilight said with some slight irritation. After analyzing in her head what just happened she figured the man had some experience with a blade. "You don't look like military what do you do for a living?" Twilight asked genuinely curious to know the answer. She could really use someone to help her go after bigger game.

[Nomad]

Though at first he did not realize their was someone in front of him, when he catches a woman in front of him drawing her own blade seeming in self defense, he looks to her with a light smile seeing that he may have done something bad. With his eyes set on the woman he listens to her as she speaks to him. " Heh, yeah sorry about that. " he says as he brings a hand up to scratch the back of his head, embarrassed at what he had just done. Not only was he embarrassed about what he had just done, he felt as if he made himself look like an idiot in front of such a pretty woman.

Feeling like an idiot he puts the knife back where he had taken it from before looking back to the woman as she speaks to him again. As he looks at her, he shakes his head faintly " I am not military, " He begins as he turns to face the woman " And as for a living.. I pick up what odd jobs I can. I am really good with a gun. I guess you could say I am a mercenary of sorts. " as he ends, he gives a faint nod, his gaze shifting over the woman's appearance.

[Twilight]

At the mention of him considering himself a mercenary Twilight's interest really perked. Apparently he considered himself good with a gun as well. Twilight walked right up to the side of the man and whispered in his ear. "Well if you're looking for work I'm happy to offer some." Twilight then casually made her way to check out the swords and knifes almost as if she didn't speak to the man at all. Twilight pretended to take great interest at what she was looking at while she waited for a reply. Her family had been pirates for generations and had never been caught. She didn't plan on ruining the record so she kept the utmost secrecy. 

[Nomad]

As she came closer to him, he was not sure what she was planning to do though he quickly finds out as she begins to whisper to him when in close proximity. Remaining still, he listens as she puts forth an offer or at least offers him work. Shifting he watches her as she moves past him as if nothing had happened and goes over to look at some swords and knives.

For a moment he remains where he stood with his gaze still fixed on her as he thought over what she had said. It was an offer for work which was something he had not had as of late which meant he was running low on spending money, money that he needed to buy things he liked. Seeing no other easy option on hand, given he would have to go and look for work should he say no to this offer he decided to take the woman up on her offer.

Having come to a decision on what to do he moves over next to her, his gaze turning to the weapons before them as he begins to speak in a hushed tone " I think I will take you up on your offer. " He says, turning his attention back to her with a light smile, " Perhaps we should get something to drink to celebrate? " he adds while looking a the woman, though he knew he could also go for something to eat as well.

[Twilight]

It didn't take long for the man to approach her and accept her offer. She was so happy he did. Her earning would be boosted dramatically. She might even need to find herself another buyer for all the extra stuff she is going to get. Which would be a hassle. Twilight didn't want to go through finding someone she could trust.

" Perhaps we should get something to drink to celebrate? " The man said.

"Very well I'll show you to my ship. I have drinks on there just as good as any you'll find here." Twilight then led him to her ship. Now came the crucial moment. Was he going to attempt to take her ship or steel her stuff she would find out soon enough. Twilight led him to the main room and left him there as she went to grab some champagne. She used one of the empty bedrooms as storage for all her favorite foods and drinks. She came back with a bottle of champagne and 2 wine glasses. "May our partner ship make us filthy rich." Twilight toasted. "I should warn you now this is a pirate ship by the way."

[Nomad]

After bringing up the idea of getting something to drink he watches her, wondering if she would accept. As she speaks up he finds is ok with the idea, though she wanted to go back to her ship. He did not expect her to have a ship and if she did not to invite him to it for drinks. That was like inviting someone over to your house. Still, he was not going to argue with it, after all he was getting a drink and the company of a pretty young lady. As she leads the way he follows after her, dwelling on the idea of a ship which meant she left the station and went places, which in turn he would now do that again to.

As they came to her ship he gave it a quick glance as he follows her inside. Once in the main room he watches her as she leaves, figuring she wanted him to remain here which he did not have a problem with though he hoped she wasn't going to come back and try to kill him or something. No he did not think that would be a good thing.

With her return he looks back to her, noticing the bottle of champagne as well as the two glasses. Listening to her toast he liked the idea of it, joining her in the toast as he gives a nod. He took his drink and sipped on it for a moment as she informed him her ship is a pirate ship. For a brief moment he is silent before finally speaking up " I see. "

[Twilight]

Twilight judged his body language and tone of voice very carefully.  " I see. " He said though Twilight was unable to perceive his thoughts. It was time's like this she wouldn't mind being telepathic. Unfortunately that was not her gift. Twilight was beginning to wonder if bringing him on board was a good idea. If he decided a pirates life isn't for him and tell the authorities or even worse if he decided to steal her necklace while she was asleep or something. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Twilight said to herself. Twilight sat at the table and motioned for the man to sit. "My name is Twilight by the way. What is yours?" Twilight asked as she poured the champagne in the wine glasses.

[Nomad]

Keeping his gaze on her he watches as she sits at the table and once she motioned for him to join her he sat at the table with her. This was her home and he was a guest so he knew not the act out of line, it was not the proper thing to do in someone's home, unless you have reasons to act out of line. " Twilight. " he murmurs lightly as he looks at the woman. It was an interesting name that did not sound that common. " I am Gene. " he says, bringing a hand up stretching it out to her, offering a friendly hand shake.

" Its a pleasure to meet a beautiful lady such as your self. " he says with a smile, attempting to flirt with Twilight. " And I don't have a problem with this being a pirate ship or being affiliated with a pirate for that matter. I am somewhat of an outlaw myself, of sorts. You tend to go where the money is when you need it. "

[Twilight]

Twilight ignored his complement as she preferred this to be strictly professional. She did however shake his hand. Twilight was glad she didn't have to worry about him running to the authorities now. Though she still had other concerns. "It's a pleasure to meet you too." Twilight said. Twilight grabbed a glass and sipped some of the great tasting liquid. She was going to find out more about him then show him around the ship. Unless of course she got to know him and doesn't like what she finds. "So tell me about yourself. You always been a merc?" Twilight questioned. "Also do you have any special abilities I should know about." Twilight said with extra emphasis on the special part. She had no plans of telling him her own abilities as she didn't trust him yet. Not that her abilities were anything fantastic. 

[Nomad]

Taking her hand into his, he shook her hand before releasing his grasp upon her hand and listened as she began to speak. Listening to her he figured she either did not care for his comment about her beauty or ignored him, which the ignored seemed the more plausible of the two, unfortunately. Taking his own glass he brought it to his lips and sipped the liquid it contained.

Though he did not have a problem drinking champagne, it was not his drink of choice, but at the moment he was not going to complain given how generous his hostess is. Sitting back into his seat he keeps his gaze on her as she speaks, asking questions he figured where to come given they had entered into a business deal. It was good to know who you are partnered up with. " Not always. Though I have been long enough to get experience. " he says before taking another sip of his drink. " I'm afraid I don't have any special abilities aside from my charming good looks and skill with a gun. " he says with a smile.

[Twilight]

Twilight didn't have a long list of questions in mind. In fact those were the only ones she had at the moment. All the others would be answered in time. She did wonder about his answer to her last question though. He hadn't shown any signs of hesitation which led her to believe he was telling the truth. Then again she wouldn't hesitate if asked either. She had no choice but to trust him. "If you aren't too thirsty I can show you around the ship if you like." Just after Twilight said that she realized none of the bedrooms were clean at the moment. Talk about being unprepared. She would have to find some excuse to leave him somewhere for a time so she can tidy up one of the rooms for him.

[Nomad]

Having answered her questions, he expected their to be more of them and as he waited for more questions he took another sip of his drink, wondering what all she would ask him. At the same time he thought on what he should ask her, however nothing aside from what she had already asked came to mind. Though he expected their to be more questions, it appeared their was not going to be any more as she brings up taking a tour of the ship. Since it was going to be his new home of sorts, Gene didn't see much of a reason to not look around after all he did need to get a feel for the place, see where her room is, how close his room is to it, and everything else.

" That sounds like a good plan. " he answers with a nod before taking another sip of his drink. After taking another sip he sets the glass down. One he set the glass down he raises from the seat and as he raises to his feet he remembers that he still needed to get his belongings, which he had left back at the hotel on the station " Crap.. " he murmurs lightly to himself now that he had remembered his things, though he figured he could get them after the tour.

[Twilight]

Thankfully Gene wasn't too thirsty. She would have had a hard time coming up with small talk should he have wanted to stay a bit. He got up from his seat and Twilight rose from hers. "All righty then. First stop the main room. We are already here. This room is the general hang out area. Think of it as a living room. The exit is even in the room." After finishing up with the main room Twilight led Gene to the left hall which led to the armory. "This is the armory I don't think much needs to be explained about it other than this is were personal weapons are kept." Twilight then went back to the main room and went down the front hall that led to the cockpit. "And this is where everyting is controlled. The reason there is only three chairs is because almost everything is automated. Only one person is required to fly the thing." Again she led him back to the main room and then down the stairs to the hanger. "This is the hanger." There stood a small ship suspended by giant clamps hovering over a a giant sliding door under it. She then escorted him to the only other room on the bottom level the missile room. It has 6 missile tubes racks of missiles and racks of other ammunition. "This is the missile room. This is where all the ammo for the ship is kept" Twilight then led him back up the stairs to the main room and then out the back hall which led to the fuel room. "Fuel room enough said. Though you should know it's nuclear powered." They then continued further back to the engine room. "Engine room. This ship uses a dark matter engine for long distance travel." The two then went back to the main room. The only place she hadn't shown him was the right hall which led to all the bedrooms. "Alright do you have all your personal belongings?" Twilight asked. Surly he had more than he was carrying with him currently and while he went to grab his stuff she would clean up a room for him.

[Nomad]

Shifting his gaze as she spoke he glanced around for a brief moment as she spoke of the room they are in. Once she began to move he followed after her as she lead the way to the next room, which was one he liked, the armory. Moving from the armory he went with her as she took him to the cockpit of the ship. Coming to the cockpit he glanced around for a brief moment, nodding his head faintly " I see. " he murmurs lightly.

After the cockpit he follows her to the hanger and looks up at the ship suspended by the clamps. It was only logical for a smaller ship to be inside a bigger one, after all you can't take the big one everywhere. Next came another room that he found he liked, the missile room, which sounded cool, though between the two he liked the armory more.

Making his way from the missile room with her he went to the fuel room with her, which seemed like a pretty boring room given it just powered the ship. Moving further into the ship he looks to the engine room as she points it out. With the tour over he made his way back to the main room, though he wondered why she had not shown any rooms yet, did she sleep in the main room and is that where he is to sleep too?

" Yeah, " he begins as he looks back to her " I left them behind since we came here right away. Though I guess I should go and get them now that I have a chance. " he answers with a nod " I'll go get them real fast. " He says, though he was not sure how fast it would be. With that he turns and takes his leave of the ship, heading to get his belongings.

[Twilight]

Twilight was thankful she was right. As soon as he left the ship she got to work on clearing out a room. She decided to clear out the room with a bunch of boxes full of her parents old crap. She just dumped them into another room and got to work cleaning it and making it look nice and tidy. She finally finished and headed back to the main room to wait for Gene.

[Nomad]

Taking his leave from the ship he heads back to where he had been shacked up for the night. A crappy little hotel though he didn't complain much since it was a bed to sleep in and from time to time when he wanted a girl to shack up with,  no strings attached. Making it back to the hotel room he collects his belongings, packing up his cloths before he packs up the gear he had strewn about the room. Once he had everything packed up, he slung one of the bags over his shoulder and picked the other two up before leaving the hotel, paying the person at the front desk as he made his exit.

Making his way back to the ship with his belongings, he moved into the main room, his gaze shifting to her as he makes his entrance into the room. " Alright boss. I guess I really am ready now. " He says with a smile as he looks at Twilight.

[Twilight]

It didn't take long for Gene to come back. "I forgot one more area of the ship by the way. Right this way." Twilight then led Gene down the right hall to where all the bedrooms are. There were 2 bed rooms on each side of the hall. "This is where all the bedrooms are. Mine is that one right there the first on the left and your is the one over there the last on the left. Also don't go into the other rooms if you do I'll make you clean them." Twilight just said that cuz she didn't want him taking her stash of food she kept in the last room on the right. If he happen to stumble upon the first room on the right she would be happy as that room is an absolute mess. She's been too lazy to go through it. "Decorate the room any way you want it's yours now and get comfortable we are going to do our first practice job soon." Twilight was eager to see how an extra person would help so she could plan something a little bigger than what she normally does.

[Nomad]

Looking to her as she spoke, he is glad to hear that their are indeed rooms on the ship. " Ah, that sounds good. " he says as he follows after her as she leads the way back to the bedrooms. Stopping next to her, he glances between both sides of the hall for a brief moment before looking to the rooms she points out. He looked to hers first as she pointed it out first before pointing out the room that had become his.

Looking to the other two rooms he makes a mental note not to go into them given what she had said. He hardly cleaned his own room so he was not up for cleaning other rooms. " I see. I'll remember that. " He says with a nod as he looks back to her. She had given him free reign to do as he wanted with the room which was nice, though he was not sure what to do at the moment. " Practice job. " he murmurs lightly as he looks at her, " Well give me a bit to settle in and get my things ready and I should be good to go. " he adds, pausing a moment before heading into the room she had designated as his.
