Marcelline is dark-skinned with short curly black hair and golden eyes that reflect the light. She is tallish and wiry, with strength built into a curvy hourglass-shaped frame. Despite her curves, she does keep herself in a healthy and peak condition, ready to fight at a moment’s notice, and ready to run at a moment’s notice. She has quite a few lines around her mouth and eyes from smiles, frowns, and tears. She’s got strength in her frame, and she doesn’t need help hauling two nine-year-olds by their scruffs. She seems like she would be easily bowed, and at one time, she was, until she decided she no longer wanted to be cowed and pushed around. Yet she doesn’t advertise the fact that she can defend herself, instead content to let people assume what they will about her.
Marcelline prefers to wear clothes that can be worked in. She doesn’t wear anything overly tight or overly loose, but seems to fit just right. The color palette ranges from black to blue to red and everything in between. She does her best to pick out clothes that also don’t accent her form, rather trying to hide it so as not to draw attention to herself. Although, her clothes aren’t always what draw attention to her.
{PERSONALITY}
Marcelline used to be a very calm, laid back lady, until something happened and she had to scoop up her kids and run. Now she sees enemies behind every corner, and is fiercely protective of her two children. She’s very loud and brash when incensed, but she usually is quiet and gentle.
Fun Facts:
- She will do anything for her kids. Anything.
- As loud as she can be, it isn’t without reason. She’s actually very terrified that her ex-husband will come and take her children away, and she figures the louder she can make a scene, the less likely it will be he could succeed
- She crochets in her spare time

Marcelline is a very protective mother. So protective, in fact, that when her husband started getting into bad things, Marcelline packed up her kids and left him. When she reached Libra, she changed her last name back to her maiden name, changed her kids’ last names to her maiden name, sold her ship, and moved into an apartment in Second Chance House, because the owner didn’t ask questions and didn’t expect rent right away.
