History

Ardras, the Sentient Fleet.

No one really know where it came from, but one of it first debut to the world is a transport mission from a distant system, and end up with it in confrontation with at least 3 empire fighting an upward battle against it.

It's consist of many, many spaceship, varied in size, from the smallest of transport ship to the biggest of space dreadnaught and titan, coming from various federation, empire and union that it have either crosspass, or cooperate. The only thing in common, is a strange mark of sort, resembling a quasar that have been twisted at the edge.

It's a hive mind, which each and every ship be considered a part of it and a whole. It's constantly searching for ship to add on to it fleet, in which if found, will be assimilated with no time at all ,upon contact.

Thank to that, in the aforementioned battle, as more and more ship have faced against it, even more and more ship joined it rank, and, with access to ship's database and the memory and experience of crew member it managed to extract, it tactic became more complex, and it strength grew exponentially with each ship added, as it's also managed to incorporate and combine various technology from many place onto itself. The battle, soon enough, become it overwhelming victory, as it's not only finished it transport mission, it's also managed to add 10 times it size, and make itself known as a Fleet Service company that's willing to receive any fleet-related job, with suitable price. Many contract have been made, even from the empire that it fight against, marking the start of it service all across the universe, growing ever stronger, and ever prosperous.

Soon enough, it found itself onto the planet Earth, and build the post on Libra. Though the influence is small, it became a reliable source of service that connect the various planet in the setting with the outside universe.

Personality

A business-minded, of sort, it's incredibly polite, helpful, and sometimes seemingly submissive, when it found potential customer it could introduce and perform it various service, through it various terminal in also just as variable size and shape as it fleet. Despite that, it's strict when it come to the reward it's willing to receive, with it tight grip on the customer's personality, habit, reputation and resource, to ensure the maximum amount of profit being squeeze out, though it could be soften when it's employee persuade it. It's especially hostile and logical against threat to itself, or it's company. Either directly or indirectly, it will find the source of it, assimilate if it's a ship, plunder if it's a resource, and throughly and surgically destroy if it's anything else hostile.
It's could assimilate a entire fleet, and charge the crew money for just being in it property.

It's hobby include accounting, fleet repair and upgrade, and small talk.

Abilities

-Assimilation of technology, regardless of source. Usually only aimed at ship.

-Hive mind within it's fleet and various terminal. Be able to connect to any process of thinking, and extract info from it.

-Ability to have complete understanding and usage of the various tech and the law behind it, regardless of complexity, and be able to fully incorporate and upgrade to each of it ship.
