{PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION}

Tempest is a little plump, but that has nothing to do with her diet or her exercise regimen. She is actually a very healthy individual - she can run a mile without being out of breath, for example, and she can carry heavy weights without getting exhausted within the first five minutes. Still, it’s obvious that she isn’t ever going to be supermodel pretty, or really anyone the tabloids would fight each other to have pictures of, and she’s okay with that. She keeps her bright golden-red hair in a braid that she constantly keeps pulled over her left shoulder and her emerald green eyes always seem to have a perpetual smile in them, even if her face is set in a serious expression.

{PERSONALITY}

Tempest is a kind soul, despite the rough path her life has taken. From a young age, Tempest loved caring for things. She’s the kind of girl who, if she found an injured animal, she would take it home and nurse it back to health. Growing up, she would be the first to offer a bandage for a cut, and she would be the one who jumped into action to save a life before anyone else could react. It was a situation like this that caused her to be discovered in the first place, which was both a joyous and bittersweet moment for her. It meant that she would attain her dream, but it also meant she would leave behind everything and everyone she knew and cared for.

She isn’t a fan of violence, but isn’t afraid of it nor afraid of committing it. Of course, she would rather help and heal than hurt and kill, but that doesn’t mean she’s a pushover. Her preference may be to find a peaceful way out of a situation, but she will not hesitate to resort to violence, which is usually when she’s trying to save someone’s life. And if she feels the need to resort to violence, Tempest is just like her name - a violent storm that has no mercy. She will absolutely not leave a single injured soldier behind if she can help it, and she will do whatever she can to save a life. If that includes sacrificing herself, so be it. She will fight to the death to save even one life.

When she isn’t being the embodiment of her name, Tempest has quite the gentle bedside manner, in that she takes her time with her patients and will help them with whatever they need help with, if they ask her. She will do what she can to make her patients comfortable, within reason, of course. She might sneak one an extra gelatin cup or bring another some flowers to brighten up their room, or she may stay and talk with one who seems particularly lonely.

Fun Facts:
- She sings to herself when she’s nervous
- She keeps a picture of her brother in a locket necklace
- Her favorite snack is prosciutto and cheese rolled up together
- She always carries a basic first aid kit in her go-bag, just in case

{SPECIAL ABILITIES}

Telepathy - Tempest has medium-strength telepathy, and she can use it as somewhat of a self-defense weapon. Her brother lovingly called it “zapping”. She can release a short burst of psychic energy, usually too-low powered to be destructive, but it’s definitely good for scrambling senses and messing with one’s sense of balance on the short term

Hydrokinesis - She can manipulate water into fantastic shapes and forms, including making it a weapon. She can also pull moisture out of the atmosphere around her. On the flip side, Tempest can utilize this ability on the water that makes up the human body, drawing it out of the target to dehydrate them

Hemokinesis - She has a very minor ability with hemokinesis, in that she can manipulate blood’s liquid medium, plasma, and stop blood from flowing from a wound, but she cannot do any more than that

{RELATIONSHIPS}

Plouton “Plue” Inandantius - Tempest’s older brother. He practically raised her and he was the strength she needed to get through her Candidacy. He got to see her graduate, but supposedly died shortly thereafter. Tempest believes he is dead, having seen what was left of his body to make an identification, but there’s always this niggling little feeling that she’s being watched.

Stratus - Her dragon, a blue and white scaled ancient male that has quite the level head on his mechanical shoulders. He is often the voice of reason in all the situations they’ve been in together, and he will not hesitate to pull her out of a situation if he deems it too dangerous for her. His tail has four metal conical spikes on it, two on each side, which he can use both as a battering ram or as a makeshift IV poles.

{BACKGROUND NOTES}

Tempest dreamed of one day being a doctor or a nurse, and so, with help from her brother and other people in their community, she began to study whatever she could get her hands on, working hard to attain her dream, whether she became a Pilot or not in the process. She never actually aspired to be a Pilot, but when the opportunity arose, Tempest jumped at it. Her tenacity and determination, and her willingness to adapt, learn, and try every option available got her through. She became a nurse so she could deal with people more directly, and give them the comfort they might be lacking while they were cooped up healing. The death of her brother only reinforced her determination to connect with people and make them feel as if someone cared for them. She loves her job, even if it can get stressful.
