{PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION}
Valentine is very obviously a half-breed Tsumi. She has the body and face typical of her Tsumi heritage, but her pale hair, which is cut stylishly short, seems to float around her head, as if she were perpetually under water. Her skin is pale, and unlike Tsumi eyes, her eyes are colored teal. She also has four bioluminescent "freckles" on her face, two on each side under and to the left and right of the outside edges of her eyes respectively. Where her eyes and those "birthmarks" come from, even Valentine doesn't know. She's always had them, just like her hair has always looked like it's floating as if she were in water.
Valentine prefers to wear dark-toned clothes, as they enhance her strange looks. She is fond of silver jewelry, and has several pieces that she wears pretty much daily. She takes great care of her appearance, since she works in public relations, but she still is part of the Ryun Ravens, and wants to look the part.
{PERSONALITY}
Valentine is typically soft spoken and unassuming when she isn't working to spin stories and promote the Ryun Ravens in the eyes of the public. When she's working, she takes her job very seriously, and the easier her squad makes it on her, the happier she is. But she's no push-over. She has abilities in keeping with the Ravens themselves, and she knows how to use them to their fullest potential, even though she doesn't see much action. When first meeting her, it may seem like she's an ice princess whose life is her work, but she really is a kind and gentle person.

- She pronounces her name Valen-teen, not Valen-tyne
- Her favorite flowers are orchids; she has several growing in her office
- Her guilty pleasure is super raunchy romance novels, and she will vehemently deny she has entire series on her bookshelf at home and one or two in her desk drawer.
- Though she knows it's completely cliche, she actually does like long walks on the beach
{SPECIAL ABILITIES}
Shape-shifting - Due to her Tsumi heritage, Valentine can shape shift into forms that closely match her natural size and proportions. She cannot change into something bigger or heavier than she naturally is
Regeneration - Valentine can regenerate parts of her that are lost over time
Umbrakinesis - She can manipulate shadows and darkness, and can even use the shadows as a sort of teleportation device, slipping into one shadow and appearing in another. She chalks the shadow-teleportation up to her umbrakinesis, not realizing she can do it simply because of her other bloodline
She can also teleport using bodies of water, which is a "gift" from her other bloodline, however, she doesn't use this overmuch
{RELATIONSHIPS}
The Ryun Ravens - the squad she's assigned to do PR for
"Papa" - Her Tsumi father, whom she was very close with as a child. She never knew her mother, and her father never spoke of her mother beyond telling her that some of what she is comes from her mother. She still has a close relationship with him, but she doesn't get to see him as often as she'd like to
Asherah - her dragon, a sleek but smaller male dragon who is dark burgundy, save for a spot just in the center of his forehead, which is almost gold. Both his back legs are mechanical, and his left shoulder is mechanical. Asherah is a quiet sort, preferring to snooze all day in the sunshine if he can get away with doing so, but he has a terrible temper when roused, and the quickest way to do so is make Valentine unhappy.
{BACKGROUND NOTES}
Valentine joined the PR department of the Ryun Ravens at the tail end of a very turbulent reign, so she only had minor dealings with the previous Commander of the Ravens and they were very few and far between. However, it still caused her quite the headache to try and explain the squad's actions to the public and make it seem that the group was still functioning perfectly in every way possible. She's quite aware of the shake-up going on currently within the Ravens, and she's quite aware her job will be a little tougher in the coming days because of that shake-up. Still, Valentine is set to take it all in stride and do her job.
