{PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION}Long and lean, it's clear that given the ability to do so, Viktor will grow into a tall, lanky young man. Everything about his skeletal structure is angular, with high cheekbones and a sharp nose, and despite a decent layer of muscle his jointbones always seem to protrude just a bit. Constant training and a strict regimen of exercise and diet has left him fairly cut, all harsh lines and lean muscle.
Viktor sports smooth, dusky skin, of which he is very careful to maintain. He takes his appearance very seriously, and is fastidious in exactly how he styles his shock of pitch-black hair.
Trademark to his family are his eyes; a pale, ghostly green set against dark lashes and under darker brows, leaving you with the sensation that every last inch of you is being judged.
Viktor is never not in his uniform.
{PERSONALITY}Condescending, proper, unyielding, strong in convictions, self-assured. his "people skills" are "rusty".
SILVER SPOONViktor was born into a life of privilege, and it shows in his every mannerism. His speech is always clipped and cold but nearly always polite, and if he does outright insult you it is always this side of backhanded. He doesn't understand things that would be more common in the lower castes, and is actually wildly ignorant of many childhood games. His vocabulary also suggests a higher than typical education.
WHOA! HEY! DON'T TOUCH ME!Viktor despises physical contact. Any unwanted touching results in him immediately stiffening up and becoming especially hostile to human life. He doesn't even feign pretend politeness at these points, and is more than capable of spitting enough venom to melt the skin from your bones. This is even for the barest physical contact, like a touch to the back or shoulder-- hugs are just straight out.
KILLJOY KILLSWITCHAn almost insufferable spoilsport, Viktor is always the first to roll his eyes in poorly concealed contempt for anything he views as being "beneath him". He doesn't tolerate idiocy well, or anything that might be otherwise perceived as a weakness, and is often the first to deliver harsh criticisms of what he considers less than stellar behavior.
MY WILL BE DONENearly a superpower in and of itself, Viktor's willpower is through the roof. Bordering on overconfidence, his assuredness in what he wants and what he's capable of means he simply will not accept anything less than his own expectations of himself. He refuses to quit, and he never worries about failure, simply because he refuses to ever fail. The flip side of this is that when things are out of his control, he takes it very personally, will often linger on his "mistakes" far longer than usual. He is the worst kind of sore loser.
OH I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO BE KINGThis child wants to be Pilot Imperial, and he wants it
bad. Originally his plan in achieving this was to go in with an iron fist-- and cut down anyone who might stand in his way. However, over the course of his time at the ATC, interacting with others and making actual emotional connections with actual human beings, his desire to become Imperial has shifted somewhat. He still wants the position, of course, but in a decidedly less hostile manner.

- Was absolutely not hugged enough as a child and doesn't understand the appeal.
- Is way into the buff dominant alpha male type, but will absolutely not entertain any discussion of the matter.
- Has always wanted a dog, but his aunt being allergic to animals means he never will.
{SPECIAL ABILITIES}Psionics:
Telepathy - Originally very weak, to where it was only just enough to potentially link with a dragon. This was due to emotional and psychological stunting, and growth in these areas have allowed for Viktor to pursue workarounds for his shortcomings. His telepathy is still only barely moderate, but he's learned to use poppets as a psychic focus.
The Poppets - Basically tiny not-quite-voodoo dolls, Viktor finds that having a physical representation of who he's trying to reach helps him focus his telepathy enough to make it viable.
Telekinesis - Very strong telekinetic; it seems Viktor's talents lie more in using his psionics as translated into physical force, and has specialized in pure telekinesis. He seems to have a better grasp over minerals and metal-based objects, and so typically leans towards stonework or other such things to manipulate, though other objects are also able to be lifted and moved. (He once tormented Soleas by having a makeshift poppet chase him around.)
Physically, he's moderate, relying more on his wits and his kinesis to make up for raw power.
{RELATIONSHIPS}"Auntie" Blackmourne - his paternal aunt and more of a mother figure than his actual mother. He's very fond of her, despite what anyone would clearly call years of emotional abuse.
Melchior Blackmourne - elder half-brother; the child of Mr. Blackmourne's first marriage and a very successful businessman. Their relationship is cold and stiff, but not for lack of liking one another or sharing values. They're both just stunted, and as such never quite got the chance to bond as brothers do.
Atanase Blackmourne - estranged elder cousin, his aunt's only child. Viktor has very cold feelings for Atanase, seeing him as the source of his Auntie's misery and a traitor to their family.
Landis Montgomery Flane - former roommate and have... quite an interesting history together.
Aspen Brookes - someone who Viktor once held nothing but contempt for, now one of his closer friends. Also one of the very few people who is allowed to call him "Vikki".
Soleas Baliska - Soleas. Oh, Soleas. Wherefore art thou Baliska? Deny thy father and refuse thy name; or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love and I'll no longer be a Blackmourne.
{HISTORY}Born the second son to an old upper caste family, Viktor has never wanted for anything in his life. He has always had the best credits could buy, from clothes to toys to entertainment to food, and has had endless indulgences lavished upon him, and it shows in his behavior.
However, not everything was sunshine and rainbows and designer jackets; the Blackmournes were an old family, and as such had quite the reputation to protect. Everything had to be perfect at all times, or else your many enemies would latch on and tear you to pieces. And enemies were everywhere; there was no one outside of the family that Viktor could trust. If someone wasn't baiting you, they were using you, and any kindness inevitably had a price.
It was somewhere around his fourteenth birthday that his psychic prowess was discovered, and he was immediately drafted into the Candidate Program. Over the course of his time he's met several other would-be Pilots, and each interaction has left its mark in one way or another. As graduation approaches, however, Viktor has found himself at the end of a family-mandated arranged marriage.
At one point in his life he wouldn't have thought anything of this, but lately, Viktor's been dreading the idea, not for the marriage itself but for who it's to. Or, rather,
not to.
