Running his arm across his forward to wipe away the sweat, Vedrit replied "I'm a freelance pilot. Mostly escorting trade freighters or going and finding some poor sap who racked up a large debt and ran off in a ship the debt was for." he said with nonchalance, "What about you?"

"Ooooh! Wow! That's so cool!" Alice gave a high pitched giggle, "I'm on a ship too! I'm kinda like security and stuff. Um, you know, I shoot stuff and keep Mouse safe!"

"On a ship?" Vedrit asked with a raised brow, "As opposed to 'in a ship'?" To him, someone saying they are on a ship indicated it was a large ship, or a really small one where one is never actually inside.
