Occupation Private Investigator, Wizard, Problem Solver: She works on commission to investigate private matters for people, to solve problems, and in the pursuit of arcane knowledge. Her skills make her expensive. Her principles make her well worth the price tag. She sees a job through to the completion of a contract, and maintains a high ethical standard, above and beyond the norm. Not just anyone can hire her... and not only because of her fee.
Pacifica also works as a freelance wizard and problem solver, doing wards, enchantments, alchemy, and artifice (the maintenance, manufacture, purchase, sale, identification, repair, and destruction of magical items and artifacts of all kinds), all still under her standards of ethics.

Physical Description Pacifica is average in many ways - she is average height, average weight, she has black hair, blue eyes, but she distinguishes herself. The woman holds herself like a queen, her hair and clothing a picture of fine grooming in a female-fit suit and tie over a white shirt. Her hair is straight, grows long to her hips, but its always held up in such a way that it frames her sharp looks well. Her brilliantly blue eyes contrast sharply to her black attire and tight-cuffed appearance. Her gaze can be piercing, a vexing thing that can spook people to the core, or soft, warm gems of empathy. She's a skilled diplomat - her eyes are a distinctive feature, and she makes use of them well.
Personality Ms. Miles is a gentlewoman, and does her very best to put others around her at ease if she can. Her opinions are distinct, and she is clear about them. Her speech is thoughtful, and she doesn't speak her piece until it is. Her bearing is regal, and her clothes are always back.
She's a woman of style and propriety, who goes out of her way to put people at ease, even in a line of work that is often life-threatening. She has the skill to be a manipulator, to take advantage of others, but she does not do so, preferring instead to be honest in her dealings and straightforward with others.
Pacifica does not abide dishonesty, and her own word is as good as steel. In others, she doesn't hold that high of a standard, but a standard does exist. When a person is dishonest with her, she takes offense. When a situation calls for her to be dishonest, she is rubbed the wrong way. She will tell the truth if she can, even when she probably shouldn't. Few situations will make her lie outright.
She is no little girl. Pacifica is a woman with a history, and it has, whatever it was, imprinted itself upon her. Her drinking habit, insomnia, and other mildly self-destructive tendencies. She's a woman haunted, beset by memories that come at her in unexpected angles, like daggers in the dark. Being who she is, you'd never think it, to meet her on the job or walking on the street, but she suffers. Magic and her other hobbies - yes, they're hobbies, she's well enough off that she doesn't need to actually work for a living, though she does anyhow - keeps her mind off of things, act as an escape.
Magic/Abilities
Magecraft: Ms. Miles is a skilled mage, a practicioner of a variety of subtle magical arts. This craft is an escape for her, a something she occupies her time with. This makes her something of an adept with the colleges of magic she has seen fit to specialize in. Black magic - outright offensive magic - is something she has only ever used as a last resort, in holding with her personal style.
