Initiative for Preventative Genetic Perpetuation
« on: January 16, 2008, 01:18:09 am »
The following official Citadel message goes out to all public and private consoles, accounts, computers, cell phones, and email within the Aedolis network:

"In the continuing effort to ensure impeccable public health within the city of Haviah and to promote the well being of future generations, it has been concluded that proactive measures will be taken to promote disease-prevention and genetic health before birth.

To this end, the Initiative for Preventative Genetic Perpetuation has been approved.

By law, all pregnant women are now required to submit to testing at any public clinic before the end of the second trimester.  Fetuses found with deformities, genetic disease, genetic abnormalities, mutation, autism, or other detectable conditions which would result in a disproportionate ratio of the cost/benefit to public health and social resources statistically predicted at the time of adulthood will be terminated on site.  Compensation in credits will be remitted to women whose pregnancies are terminated. (Credit amount to be determined by the sex of the fetus, age of the woman in question, number of other children if any, and other factors.)

Failure to report for testing by the required date will result in the freezing of all accounts, a warrant for arrest, a fine, and a waiver of the credit compensation in the event of termination.

All obstetricians will now be required to report any women under their care who do not receive the test by the end of the second trimester.  Failure to do so will result in fines and the loss of all medical licenses.

We thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter."
