Das Soviet's Limitses

GENERAL OVERVIEW
What are you limits regarding powerplay/godmoding?
[For instance, do you mind if someone grabs your character? Picks them up? Punches them?]

Will do: Almost anything physically... move them, knock them out, blast them with firearms, whatever you feel is needed for a scene.

Won't do: Making my characters say, think, or do anything. Leave it to me to determine my character's thoughts and responses.

Ask me first: Anything potentially fatal or game changing. Small things, shoot... but big, plot-vital events, ask first.

How far can character injuries go?
[How much can another character injure yours? For instance, are you okay with someone stabbing your character before your character can react ("He lunged at him and stabbed him in the shoulder."), or do you prefer to be able to react first ("He slashed the knife at him.")? Should injuries be superficial (flesh wounds), or do you mind more debilitating injuries (like, say, broken bones or lost limbs)?]

Will do: Anything up to permanently debilitating. Something that requires several days worth of healing and hospital recovery would be fine if it fits in the plot of the thread, but don't throw injuries around like water. My characters tend to be little ol' mortals, after all.

Won't do: Permanently debilitating or fatal injuries. No loosing limbs, no being rendered blind, etc. If I think it fits my character's plot, I'll set it up that way. Otherwise, no thank you. I like my characters in one piece.

Ask me first: Anything that would require more than a week of IC recovery. I'd rather not loose out on several months of IC-RP time due to recovery time, so keep it simple, keep it safe.

How far can torture go?
[Even if the character being tortured is helpless, the player is not. So what are your limits in regards to it? How far can it go? Cutting? Whipping? Shocking? Restraints? Psychological games? Sexual torture? Etc.]

Will do: Punching, kicking, beating... standard prisoner torture.

Won't do: Anything more... particularly anything sexual. Absolutely not

Ask me first: Anything involving torture. Anything.

What about character death?
[Do you mind killing off characters? Or should players always ask permission before attempting it?]

Will do: Let's not

Won't do: Meaningless deaths to up body count, "Rocks fall, everyone dies", etc

Ask me first: Anything plot related, if you make a convincing argument for it.

Are you okay with characters being transformed against their will?
[Think vampires and werewolves. Should a player ask before attempting to turn your character?]

Will do: If I make a character for this purpose, go for it

Won't do: Any of my other characters

Ask me first: You think you can make a good plot of it, contact me. I'll give you a chance to convince me... though it would be unlikely.

What about healing?
For instance, if someone plays a blind character they may not want people to try and "cure" the character.]

Will do: Nothing, please

Won't do: Most healing that are not related specifically to a plot of story... injuries like this should require a story to fix them, overcome the problem. Anything less removes the point of the injuries in the first place

Ask me first: If you have an idea for a plot, shoot. I'll listen, and potentially go for it. Sell it to me, people!

What are your limits in regards to sexual situations?
[Do you prefer to fade to black or play it out? What about abuse/rape? Innuendo? What are you comfortable with and not comfortable with?]

Will do: Uhh... nothing

Won't do: Absolutely anything related to rape, children, or fetishes.

Ask me first: Flirting to dating. Please?

CHARACTER-SPECIFIC

Nothing at this point in time and space
