__________________In-Depth Stuff Physical Description: The boy has his mother’s movie star good looks, which sadly tend to make him look a bit on the effeminate side of things. His hair falls to just above his shoulders in chunky layers he likes to pin up in fun ways. He doesn’t care a whole lot about clothes, but his mother’s PR person tends to make sure his wardrobe follows most of the current fashion trends.
Nika has a light coppery skin tone that combined with his hair give a startling contrast to his pale blue eyes. He often uses his good looks and unintimidating size to gain people’s trust and to avoid getting into trouble. After an incident with a Pilot, Nika now only has one eye, which he keeps covered with an eyepatch and started growing his hair over to help hide.
Personality: Nika is a sociopath. He doesn’t really care about or fully understand other people’s emotions. He views others simply as toys for his amusement. He is very, very socially awkward, not really understanding those subtle, intuitive signals people take for granted.
He hates being bored more then anything. He likes to keep busy and has some skill in painting. People for the most part confuse him. Given the option, Nika does his best to avoid them, though he finds himself drawn to them. He likes to people watch.
Nika is easily frustrated. He lacks the ability to deal with it well and much of it stems from his problems communicating. He hasn’t really figured out what he wants in life yet. He doesn’t like people, but part of him wants to want to be like them. He watches them and is curious as to what it is like to be a part of that.
A bit of a sadist, Nika doesn’t really care about anyone’s feelings and likes to push their buttons to see what happens. He has a deep obsession with blood, one of the only things he is honestly passionate about.

Magic/Abilities: Nika has some very minor telepathy. Hardly enough to be note worthy. He learned to shield his own thoughts, though his walls are effective but crude. He can’t pick up other people’s thoughts unless he lowers his walls.
What got him sent to pilot training was his ability to control blood. He has little control over his hemokinesis as he only recently realized he even had the ability. And it wasn’t long after that he was enrolled into the pilot training program.

History: Nika was born to his mother during the height of her acting career. His father is a mid ranking military man who had been steadily making his way up through the ranks. As an infant, his picture was splashed all over magazines and tabloids.
As he grew up, the fame faded a bit, people only interested if he messed up or caused a scene. Fortunately for his parents, Nika kept his sadistic tendencies hidden rather well and was a perfect child for the media.
Home schooled for most of his life, Nika had a very closed off childhood. He only interacted with his tutors, most didn’t stay long and his sister. This has given him rather limited social skills. It wasn’t until he was 15 that his parents decided to send him to school with other children. He did alright there, able to fake it well enough to get along with most students, though he kept people at a distance. He liked the structured environment and got good grades.
Nika had always had a thing for blood, it seemed to speak to him. But it wasn’t until recently that he was able to realize he had control over it. He had done a few things, messing around with animals. But it wasn’t until he had lost control of the ability that it became obvious to everyone, and confirmed what Nika had suspected.
Some older boys had decided to put the kid in his place at his school. And they had all ended up hospitalized due to blood loss where one died. The very next day, his father had him enrolled into the candidate program.
