Physical Description
Hendrik looks something like a stick insect. He is quite tall and thin, to the point of being scrawny looking. Hendrik has the slightly lidded look to his eyes of someone who has spent their life staring at numbers on a computer screen. His dark brown hair is cut short to keep it out of his face and he often neglects to shave for days at a time. Not much more can be said about Hendrik, he’s the person standing at the back, the guy who blends into the wall and doesn’t get noticed.
Personality
Hendrik is a normal guy… a normal computer nerd guy. He likes women, though he’s not exactly slick. Overall he’s pretty nice, if a little odd at times.
Weaknesses
Physically not spectacular, women, inability to control his magic when experiencing high levels of emotion. The slight chance of death from touching another human being.
Strengths
He’s pretty game when it comes to doing pretty much anything. He can hack with the best of them. His diverse range of magic (if he can ever learn to use them).
Likes
Women, computers, getting in anywhere he’s not supposed to be, bacon.

Firewalls, passwords, anti-hacker intelligent programs.
Magic/Abilities
Though he didn’t know it for the majority of his life, Hendrik possesses perhaps a unique magical ability. While having no active magic himself, Hendrik copy’s the magical powers of any mage he touches. The copy, or imprint as he calls it, is perfect, giving Hendrik the potential to do everything the other mage can do. The problem arises when confronted with actually using any of the powers in his repertoire. While he has the ability, he does not get the skill of the other mage, or any additional levels of power that that mage might have gained over time. He must learn to use each power from scratch. His first imprinted power was invisibility and it the one he is currently most proficient at. Hendrik, when in a state of high emotion, has been known to fire off magic in a dangerous and uncontrolled manner. He also is at risk of completely degrading his own DNA from over-imprinting. What follows is a list of known powers, though he touched many mages before he learned to wear gloves, and may have many more powers that he doesn’t even know about.
Imprints
Controlled:
Invisibility – Complete camouflage from the naked eye, as well as most electronic detection devises. He still makes noise and emits smell. The invisibility naturally seems to cover clothing and can be extended to objects he touches, though the more things the more energy it uses up on an exponentially increasing scale.
Un-controlled or partial control:
EMP – Hendrik once released a large electromagnetic pulse, disabling many unshielded systems aboard the Libra and resulting in him being thrown in the brig fro two days.
Pyromancy – He has a little control over this one, able to currently summon a flame into the palm of his hand, but nothing more.
Hydromancy – No control over this, only knows he has it because he talked with the mage off whom he imprinted it.
Phase-shift – He once fell through one deck of the Libra onto the next one down by phasing trough the floor when a woman he was afraid of was coming down the hall towards him.
Telekinesis – Hendrik threw a man across the bar without touching him when he refused to apologise for spilling Hendrik’s beer.
Family
Mother, father, four sisters, the normal stuff. His parents are on Mars and his sisters are doing various jobs around the galaxy.

History
He hacked enemy systems for the Edanith from the age of 16. At 27 the only thing that had ever happened of any interest to Hendrik happened, he woke up, and he was invisible. He later assumed that an enemy spy with the magic of invisibility had brushed him at some point, thus being the first mage he ever came in contact with, imprinting his first power. After calling in sick for two weeks while learning how to use his newfound power, Hendrik decided that it was too dangerous to stay in a nation that hated mages, so he snuck away to space station Libra to figure out what he was. He imprinted many new powers there over the next year. Recently he has begun to feel, at times, strained, as if something was pushing at him from the inside. Worried that this could be some side affect from imprinting too many powers, and thus set to finding someone who could help him, someone apart from any government or large organisation.
