Another day, another credit...

"A Delivery?"

Ciercel raised an eyebrow at the man standing behind the security bullet-proof glass- a joke with the technology of today's weaponry.

Of course, he'd said he was delivering a new security shield.

But Ciercel very much doubted that. This was a cosmetic company. They weren't big enough to afford new stuff like that.

On the flip side, what was this guy doing here if he wasn't delivering? It was a cosmetic company!

She looked him over through purple-lensed scanning glasses. She'd bought them to make the long nights behind the desk a little more entertaining. They gave her information on his heart rate, physical fitness, eye colour... with added features of weaponry scan and probably could have told her the amount of loose change in his pockets had Aedolis worked on that kind of system. As it was...

She sighed and leaned forward to direct him to the wrist-scanner. It was an older model that sometimes took a couple of tries.

"Hold your wrist up to the sensor."

Leaning back in her chair, she felt a stirring in her mind as Jierra regarded the lone male.

Is that a phase gun he's got in his pocket?

She skimmed his information as it flashed onto the screen before her.

It sure is.

She heard Jierra chuckle in her mind and could see her in her mind, curling up serpent-like. Jierra liked to "remind" her of what she "should" be like. Running the wastelands of Teinar with the rest of the mutants. It was awfully ironic to Jierra that Ciercel worked at a make-up company... Well, she was good at concealing.

The machine beeped once as everything checked out. Well, perhaps he really was delivering a shipment. She couldn't really blame him for the gun. Hell, she wasn't even supposed to have those glasses...

"I've notified shipping that you're here. It might take them a little while to come up here. Feel free to have a seat."
