That was their original purpose. To make robots for anything and everything. Don't want to do hosework? Get UTILTY. Don't want to do that homework? Get UTILTY. Don't want to fight that enemy? GET UTILTY.
UTILTY Co. is long gone now, but Light still remains.
__________________IN-DEPTH STUFF
Physical Description Light is completely robotic. She has the typical requirements of any mobile, speech-capabile, robot would have; like sensors in her body to react to everyday situations. Knows the current date and time, thanks to a small piece within her that has kept track. Has a surprisingly light body, due to her construction, despite her size. She is built without enough force to harm anyone, only to help. Ironically, she doesn't like being touched because it overloads her motion algorithm. She also has no genitalia, as she was built to help people, not to be a toy.
Equipment Always equipped with a small medical kit, and a arm band that defines Light as a paramedic. The arm band also hovers a few centimeters from her upper arm plating, all around, never touching. The armband also has four small syringes and an extra place to store something small, just in case. Carries an oxygen tank, for emergencies. Has a bag that has rolled documents, a computer, a flashlight, a wire with plug for charging, a wire with a USB end for uploading and updating, and a screwdriver. The long antennae on her head serve as antennae for radio. She can also bend the antennae back, in case she has to get through a tight space.
Personality Over the years, she has developed a personality and moods. Her moods come and go, and she is usually happy, calm, and agreeable.
She is very curious about humans, robots and anything else. In fact, she doesn't get flustered looking at machinery, because its like a human doctor looking at internal organs.
-Examples: When sad, her faceplate shows a crying emote, and when she speaks, her voice is choppy and glitched. When flustered, she tries to hide it, but her overheating CPU and fans trying to cool her down give it away. If she gets too flustered or embarrassed, she may crash her system, and have to reboot. If she is overworked or tired and needing to charge, her joints lag, she has delayed reactions, her LCD screen flickers, and even her speech is loopy and incoherent.
Strengths Can override some electronics, like doors or emergency equipment, etc. Can act as a radio, sending and receiving voice messages. Can also store information about a person's current health, only a scan is required.
Weaknesses Her only goal it to save others, and it may can come at a cost to herself. She Isn't very strong, and can only carry up to 10 lbs. Magnets are dangerous to her, even small ones can mess up her system.
Magic/Abilities Has a weekly maintenance feature, that clears any bugs in her system. Has to power down at night, to restore energy. (like sleeping) The floating lights just above her lower arms can store energy, and it can be used like a defibrillator; flowing the energy to her palms to send a quick electric shock. Her fingers can scan a human just by touch, and can know a humans temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, etc.
