Physical Description:

Renilius stands at a height of 6’3”, an average for most Aedolian males his age. He is quite fair-skinned compared to other Aedolian citizens and also his sky blue eyes make him stand out from a crowd. Renilius has pitch-black hair cut just barely at shoulder-length. He is muscular, making his hard muscles very evident even whether in his uniform or his combat suit. He was able to achieve a muscular built from all physical training he has done outside his Pilot Training. Calluses span through his fists and fingers making his grip tough and hard, which also gives him an edge in withstanding pain in hand-to-hand combat. Though he may seem like a rugged brute at first glance, his wide smile and bright eyes give him a cheerful disposition.

Personality:

Renilius gives off a happy-go-lucky personality. He is very laidback, relaxed and easy-going amongst people though this attitude of his does not appeal to most Pilots above him and Candidates in his level. He is young, wild and carefree. Never too serious about his duties, he often tends to accomplish these at a satisfactory level. He slacks off and pushes off his duties to make time for physical training and having fun with his friends. He is quite the adventurer, spending his time jumping across building tops and running around the city.

Though he is at the highest Candidate level, it never appealed to him to impose his superiority over other candidates. He does not pay much attention to them though he interacts with them nonetheless. Same as to most people he meets in Aedolis, Renilius is accommodating and friendly. He appears to be unaffected by rude comments or offending statements from other people brushing it off preferring to avoid conflict with any individual.

Though he may have the biggest smile of any Candidate his level, he suppresses expressing insecurities and anything of the ‘too emotional’ matters he keeps to himself. Renilius brushes off anything heading to this topic with a joke. His sanguine personality acts as his cover to not allow anyone to get to his head.

He is also resourceful and witty. He is able to come up of quick solutions just overcome a challenge or a test but his potential as a Pilot is held back by his chronic laziness as pointed out by his older sister, Reinas Blackliss.

Magic/Abilities:

Psionic Abilities:
-Telepathy and Telekinesis: Renilius is an average Psychic. He strains to improve on the mental aspects of his psionic abilities due to imbalances in his concentration affecting the way he channels these abilities

-AutoPortation: A fancy Aedolian term for teleportation. It allows the bearer of the ability to instantaneously appear in a remote area within the user’s area of clear vision. The longest distance recorded by this skill was 15 kilometers. Though this ability in uncommon in Aedolis not much significance is given to it as modern technology in the Citadel allows quicker and higher feats of transportation than this skill. Renilius’s skill with Autoportation was discovered when he was a Stage 3 Candidate. His skills with AutoPortation is improving signifacntly at the moment he is able to AutoPort up to five(5) kilometers from his original position.

-Hand-To-Hand Combat Expert: Renilus’s area of expertise. He likes to demonstrate this skill in front of his superiors and other candidates, knowing it will be hard for them to match up to his skill of physical and tactical roughhousing. Accompanied by his inhuman speed, Renilius is much more than an adept brawler in battles.

-Inhuman speed: Renilius owes his speed due to playing Aedolian sports with his fellow candidates and friends outside the Pilot Program. Renilius’s Speed is his best asset as it allows him to navigate through the physical drills with relatively more ease than other candidates. He is able to perfectly sync his agility with his brute strength to make devastating damages with every hit.

Weaknesses

-Powerful Psionics: Renilius is a relatively weak psionic making him a perfect prey for those with exceptionally developed Psionic abilities when it comes to a battle of psychic feats.

-Insanely Smart People: Smart people tend to be more on Renilius’s avoid list due to the fact that he most probably would not be able to keep up with whatever highly intellectual facts and topics that often interests professors and researchers in the Citadel. This doesn’t mean that Renilius can’t make a smart conversation, he is well versed in many social situations, and he just avoids this type of people.

-Kids: Renilius would never lay a hand on some child or kid. He can never find faults in them and always has a soft spot for Stage 1 Candidates as their obliviousness reminds him of himself at his first year in the Pilot Program.


Relationships:

-Reinas Blackliss (BIOLOGICAL SISTER): He constantly tries to make situations awkward for his sister and approaches her impetuously  all the time knowing that they are relatives and that she can do nothing else but live with his attitude. He acknowledges his Reinas' superiority however finds it offensive or negative when he is compared to her. Even so, he tries his best to get through his sister's cold demeanor and still respects her as his sibling. He owes much to his sister for enabling him to graduate the pilot program with minimal damage to his persona and mind. Though differences between them are evident, he looks on the positive side that he will be able to show his sister that she did not make a mistake in supporting him in his Pilot career.

History:

Renilius was born in Haviah from two wealthy Aedolian citizens. His father is a psychic yet was not put into the Pilot Program. His mother never developed any psionic abilities. He is younger than his sister Reinas who is currently a high-ranking Pilot. Renilius was taken into the pilot training program at the age of 18, just when his Psionic abilities were barely noticeable. He was moved to the Citadel to begin his training, his parents giving him their full support. Renilius never had second doubt he wanted to be a Pilot however, if in case being a Pilot did not work for him he wanted to try his luck in sports.

On days off he and his sister would visit their parents back at Haviah. Nothing too interesting happens in these meetings as Renilius is often out with his non-Pilot friends when in Haviah.

Renilius survived most of his candidacy years due to Reinas supervisions and advices, which he is stubborn to accept and be thankful for. Being on his last year of Candidacy, Renilius seems to be taking his responsibilities a little more seriously though not up to Reinas’ standards.
