On a completely unrelated note, does any of you here have an idea on how to remove candle wax from a conglomeration of feathers? Yes, they are my wings. No, I will not answer any questions pertaining the situation.

Hello Pilot Royal Darchan,

I would suggest breaking off bigger clumps of the wax where possible and then using some mild heat application to try and melt more of it off. I have not come across a particularly helpful cleaning solution as of yet but I will keep searching and update you when I have. Hopefully this is helpful.

*UPDATE* I have not found concrete information on a cleaning solution for your situation. There are conflicting reports on the use of mild dish soap, while it should be safe for your feathers it may not remove the wax very well. My suggestion would be to seek help from medical just to be safe.

Pilot Echo Lufti, my thanks for the advice, mild heat seemed to work slowly, so I became impatient and I just burned it off completely. But regardless, thank you.
