Hanguin Jalmuur
« on: May 04, 2012, 09:20:20 pm »
Let come what may come and let go of what goes.
The wind's gonna blow where the wind's gonna blow.
We'll never know why it flows where it flows.
Let come what may come and let go of what goes.

Bless the children, safe sleeping...
Don't leave me, don't leave me.
Bless the parents, hearts aching.
Don't worry, don't worry.
Bless the wakeless on their journey.
Travel safely, travel safely.
We're the sleepless, always searching,
Light chasing, light chasing.
~Blessings, Cloud Cult

__________________IN-DEPTH STUFF

Physical Description
Han’s most striking feature, other than his blue skin, are his sharp violet eyes. There is harshness to their shape and color, but a pained, kind look in their depths. His hair is a strawberry-blonde / red hue and is layered with little pieces framing his face and reaching the nape of his neck at its longest. He has a well-toned but lithe frame that could not be called ‘feminine’ in the least.

Personality
Hanguin is a real prince. He puts his people’s well-being before his own, and is always trying to do right by them. Even as the second son a lot of responsibility and weight rests on his shoulders. He is constantly trying to put on a strong, brave face and do what has to be done, regardless of what his heart wants. Han is a very kind and loving man. He hates having to resort to piracy, but knows it needs to be done to ensure his people’s survival. He is almost motherly in the way he cares for others, but still manages to exude masculinity. If you threaten him he won’t care, but if you threaten his people, his men, or his family- watch out.

Magic/Abilities
All Dimuroite people possess immune systems and metabolisms superior to other humans. Hanguin is also self-trained in defensive combat as well weaponry and is a force to be reckoned with in fight, be it fire or other types. Hanguin is the only Dimuroite to possess any form of psionic powers. He is empathic and wears gloves constantly though sometimes it doesn’t help. It’s a secret he has kept since he was small. Only his mother and brothers know about it. He even tries to pretend like the abilities don’t exist.

Relationships
Hanguin is the kind of person who is concerned and cares for everyone, but isn’t really close to anyone. Well, except his brothers. Han and his older brother Jahsklo practically raised their younger brother Kyssimri, and on some level Han really feels like he is Kyssimri’s mother. He has also been in love with his older brother since they were children, but it has been something he has buried in his heart, knowing that his feelings were wrong.

History
Life as a Dimuroite has never been easy for anyone, least of all the royal family (for more about the Dimuroite people please read Kyssimri’s history). Despite being called ‘royal’ they live the same quality of life as the rest of their people but are responsible for everyone’s lives. This has been a hard reality for Han to swallow. He knows his duty to the colony, but sometimes helping to make decisions means that people suffer, and he has a hard time with that. Cruelty is something he has experienced firsthand but it is like a foreign concept to him. With all the darkness he has seen it is amazing that his heart is so pure.
The hardest thing he had to do was send his little brother away into the wilds of space on his own. It is something that still pains him to this day. He is burdened with guilt over this and other actions he has been forced to do for the betterment of the Dimuro colony. No Dimuroite has what could be called a ‘childhood’ reality hits them from the moment of their birth. Hanguin’s greatest desire is to change that. He wants to give his people a real home, a safe and secure place where they can truly be free.
