Zenobia stared in horror at her left arm lying on the floor of the testing room. What the hell was Mino thinking?
Blood poured from the stump below the girl’s left shoulder but she couldn’t avert her attention away from her own severed arm, until Mino’s voice rang over the intercom that was.
“I suspect Persona B might have another power which you are unaware of. We are going to test if this theory is correct.”
“What the hell are you doing!?” Zenobia cried angrily.
She knew Mino hated her but she was a ‘valuable specimen’ wasn’t she, one of a kind, so why would Mino ‘damage’ her?
Zenobia felt her rage boiling up inside and felt her consciousness gradually pushed backward as ‘Persona B’ took control of the body.
It let loose a feral scream before thrashing against the glass that separated her from the scientists. Then realising with one arm it couldn’t cause much damage it stepped backward on all threes towards the arm.
The demon inspected it for a minute before picking it up and placing it back where it belonged, below her left shoulder. The blood vessels, bone, muscles, skin and everything else that made it up instantly joined back together leaving only a thin black line, much like Zenobia’s other markings, as the only thing indicating that the arm had ever been severed.
Persona B then slipped back allowing Persona A control once again.
“What the…” Zenobia gasped.
She had no idea she could do that but obviously Mino had.
Not allowing the ‘good doctor’ to have the last laugh she smirked at Mino and said, “I am even more valuable now?”
