It was a good thing Kyssimri was flexible. The box he had expertly packed himself into this time was rather small and misshapen. Actually it wasn't so much a box as it was a poorly constructed crate of caroons. He had hidden in plenty of caroon crates too and this one was by far the worse. He was afraid if he had to stretch or move at all the damn thing would fall apart on him. He wasn't even sure what ship he had been put on. It didn't look like a normal cargo ship from what he saw through the slots in the crate. It had all sorts of weird artwork on it. Kyssimri hadn't gotten a good look at it before being put in the cargo bay. Oh well, he'd just have to be quiet and still for the most part. He picked a caroon off of his chest and peeled the little vegetable before popping it in his mouth.
They were great camouflage for him since they were a bright blue color on the outside. He had learned to pull his hair up into a cap before hiding among cargo, and to find products he would blend in with. In this case his bag was in a separate crate in the same cargo palette and he wore only his cap and a pair of tight blue pants. He didn't like them because they made him look almost naked without the comfort of actually being naked, but they were good for occasions like this. He wondered how long a trip this one would be as he ate another of the little blue veggies. Kyssimri kept snacking on them till he heard someone enter the cargo bay. Immediately he tensed up. He just had to be quiet and still. Quiet and still.

"Yeah, yeah, right this way," Ari said, leading the ox of a man into the cargo hold. Oh, sure, he was human, but Ari was convinced his family had bred with an ox somewhere back in time, because the guy was like six-foot-six, no neck, arms as wide as Ari's torso and legs like pillars.
Wasn't exactly the sort of guy he'd been expecting to come pick up a shipment of caroons.
But hey, a growing man had to have his veggies, he guessed. That and he supposed it was only a guy like that that was capable of actually lifting such a crate, because he'd insisted that he didn't need help and didn't need anything to wheel it around on.
Show off.
The guy was a man of few words and only grunted in acknowledgment as Ari lead him to the crate. Towering over it, the man leaned down and cracked it open to inspect the goods--then yet out a yell of alarm. "The fuck is that?" he demanded, pointing. "What kinda joke you pulling?"
And as Ari stepped closer, wondering if maybe the veggies had gone moldy, he was soon asking the same question.
...There was a blueberry of a kid in with the blueveggies.
"Ain't no joke," Ari growled.
Snarling a curse, Ari reached into the crate, grabbed the guy by the arm, and hauled him out, pulling his gun out of its holster with the other and flipping off the safety. He tossed the kid aside, leveled the gun at him, and placed his free hand on his hip, scowling.
"Ya got five seconds to explain yourself. Startin' now."

Kyssimri couldn't do anything to hide when the crate was cracked open by that huge beastly man, just stare up at him awkwardly and nervously. He was about to say 'um hi' when the white haired guy came over and hauled him out throwing him to the floor. Shit. That hurt. He landed awkwardly on his arm and rubbed it as he looked up at the business end of that gun. Fuck.
"I stowed away in that crate... but I had no idea where it was going... honest... I just sort of hop from place to place... I-I'm sorry..." He said nervously as he removed his hat letting all his pretty yellow hair fall loosely around his figure. He was practically naked too... only tight tight booty shorts. "Please don't kill me... sir." He begged sweetly, figuring seduction was his best shot at... well, not getting shot.

Ari arched an eyebrow at the kid, gun still leveled, unwavering, at him. He flicked a glance toward the beefy man and nodded toward the door. "Go ahead and grab your stuff and go. We'll talk later."
Getting the hint, the man hoisted the crate into his arms like it was filled with marshmallows and not some really solid, water-heavy vegetables, and took his leave. The door shut behind him, leaving the two alone.
"A stowaway, huh?" Ari said. "And not a very smart one, neither. Ya realize what kinda ship this is, boy?"
He shook his head. "See, that's the thing, and that's why I'm now conflicted. Ya snuck on here like a rat, so that makes ya suspect, whereas if ya'd just asked, I probably would've just let ya on. But now I find out someone's been skulking around my cargo for who the hell knows how long, eatin' my client's product. What else have ya gotten into?"

"I didn't know I would end up on your.... pirate ship." Kyssimri said softly. "I hid in the crate before it was put on the ship. I didn't know where it was going, and I'm not in a position to ask for anything." He had limited cash flow and he was worth a lot more as a slave or a test subject then he'd be able to pay for passage. Anyone could just sell him off, and he knew it well.
"I haven't been in anything else sir... I am sorry I snuck onto your ship... but maybe I can make it up to you?" Kyssimri flipped his long beautiful hair over his shoulder and bit his lower lip seductively. "Maybe you could put that gun away and we can talk about what I might be able to do for you...."

Oh. This just kept getting better.
Ari knew exactly what the kid was doing. Knew exactly what for reasons he preferred not to think about and it pissed him off. Despite that Ari grinned, though it was a little tight and forced and he didn't lower the gun an inch.
"Ohhh, ya mean like ya wanna fuck your way outta this mess, that it?" he asked, then marched over to him, grabbed him by the arm, and hauled him roughly to his feet. He jammed the barrel of the gun between the kid's shoulders. "Haha, right. You're goin' into lockdown, kid. Now move before I give ya another hole."

Shit. So that totally didn't work. He was easily picked up and led by that gun digging into his shoulder blade. "I do wanna fuck my way out of it... you're absolutely right... I'm used to fucking my way out of trouble, it's really the only thing I'm good at. In your case though, its a win win because I could possibly get away with my life and limbs and in tact, and get fucked by you... and frankly, you're hot sir." Kyssimri had abandoned the soft seductive tone for an honest one that held a bit of annoyance in it, mostly at himself for getting caught.
"I'd appreciate if you did fuck me before you killed me though... wouldn't mind one last rumble in the sack. You can tie me to your bed if you don't trust me... actually I prefer being tied up."

Ari gave a dark laugh. "Who said anythin' about killin' ya? I still got so much to ask ya."
They reached the holding cell then and Ari kicked the door open, then shoved the boy inside without missing a beat. He didn't shut the door yet, though, and instead blocked the entrance with his body, leaning against the frame and angling the gun at his new prisoner.
"For one, while I dig the eagerness, the cringin' desperation? Kinda a turn-off. Two, I got a gun on ya--of course I'm the fuckin' hottest thing you've ever seen right now. Three, ya better start explainin' how ya knew this was a pirate vessel, how long you've been there, and what all you've heard that's given ya that impression."

Kyssimri leaned against the wall of the holding cell and sighed brushing his hair with his fingers. Well now he knew he wasn't going to die right away... which kind of sucked. He'd rather be killed then sold. "Alright here's the deal. First of all, don't patronize me. You aren't hot because you're holding a gun... and don't give me shit for being desperate... you ARE holding a gun to me aren't you? And I've been in that crate since the loading dock, BEFORE it was put on this ship... also I figured out it was a pirate ship because of YOU. And the fact that I caught a glimpse of the thing when I was carted on in the crate... I mean, cargo ships aren't usually so bright..."
Damn why couldn't this guy just think with his damn cock like every other male in the universe?! "I didn't really hear anything... just our lovely little bits of conversation here..." He sighed again realizing that his attitude wasn't going to help so he calmed himself, singing in his head for a minute. "...I don't care if you are pirates... I'm only concerned with myself, that's all any orphan in this universe can concern themselves with if they want to survive... and unfortunately I don't have the luxury of staying put anywhere... nor can I afford to trust anyone." The blonde looked up at the pirate again. "I know it's stupid to ask... but, please just let me go..."

Ari was about to nit-pick on the pirate details, because some things just weren't adding up, but what the kid said next caught his attention.
So the kid was on the run, eh?
Ari tilted his head curiously, tattooed arms folding across his chest. "Oh?" he said. "And why's that? What's chasin' ya, blondie?"

Maybe this man had never come in contact with Dimuroite people? But he wasn't surprised by his blue skin... Still, did he want to tell someone who had power over him that he was worth money simply for being a Dimuroite, or that he was personally being searched for?
"I'm a Dimuroite on my own. Everything is chasing me." That was as much as he'd say.

"Oh yeah? How come?" Ari asked, brow furrowing slightly. "Ya some kinda criminal or somethin'? Who'd ya kill, kid?"

"Me? I didn't kill anybody! You people treat my people like cattle!!!" Kyssimri glared. He had been told that all pirates and bounty hunters would know the worth of a Dimuroite to the slavers and to Thanatos INC., did this man really not know? "...I am just trying to survive." He sighed softly and looked down at the floor. Why did he even care anymore?

Ari let out a startled laugh. "Cattle? What? Ya mean people eat your folk?"

"The keep us rounded up and sell us off..." Ironically, Kyssimri had learned more about the treatment of his people since he had been away from them then when he was on their mother ship.

"Yeah?" Ari's eyebrows climbed and he shifted a little so his shoulder wasn't digging into the door frame so much. "Huh. I'm guessin' not for hard labor or nothin'. Hate to say it but ya ain't all that tough."

"....you really don't know anything about Dimuroites?" Kyssimri was confused. People usually either hated and feared Dimuroites or wanted to sell them.

Ari lifted one shoulder in a shrug and grinned. "Oh, I know a little. Why?"

Kyssimri wasn't sure that telling a pirate this stuff was a good idea. And what to tell him anyway? "What do you know?"

Ari's grin broadened, eyes meeting the kid's. "Weeeell, for starters, I now know you're worth somethin'. Worth enough to be rounded up, sold--and hunted, from the sounds of it. Which means you're valuable. Which means ya gotta be expensive. Which means, nope. Sorry. Ya ain't goin' nowhere, blondie."
He held up a finger. "But hey! The good news is ya get to live! That's somethin'!"

Kyssimri sighed again. "You have no idea why I'm worth something do you?" He was not going to allow himself to be sold. No matter what.

"Nope! Not a clue!" Ari cheerfully admitted, unfazed. "But that's cool 'cause the why don't matter to me. Besides, I'm sure someone on the Cancer'll know."

The Cancer... YES! Kyssimri couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. If they went to the Cancer than Maygen would find out about him being there, find out about this pirate asking questions about Dimuroites. Gen would save him! He slumped down against the wall and closed his eyes. "I guess you can do whatever you want..."

"I always do," Ari said with a smile. "Now, ya all comfy and cozy? 'Cause you're gonna be spending a good chunk of time down here."

"I'd be comfier in your bed~" Kyss smiled up at the handsome pirate. It was easier to relax now that he knew he'd live and be rescued. The holding cell was more comfortable than the crate after all.

"Mhmm." Yeah, Ari wasn't particularly convinced. Sure, he liked an eager partner and wasn't particularly picky--and this guy tripped his xenophilia, he wasn't gonna lie--but that was in normal situations. Y'know, pickups at bars and shit. This kid was a captive. A runaway. And apparently worth some money.
An eager captive never boded well, and the flattery and attempts at seduction only made him wary. There was a difference between this kid and Riot. Riot was a challenge; there was something intriguing about how contrary the guy was, how his behavior didn't always match his words. It made him want to push him and fuck with him and figure him out. Riot fought back, Riot egged him on.
Riot brought out all his worst qualities.
This kid? This kid just made him suspicious. What was he hiding? And, fuck, for all he knew, his race's big secret could be that their semen was toxic or he had succubus qualities or some shit. Maybe that's why he wanted to fuck so badly.
"I'm sure. So, Blueberry, ya got a name?"

"Well... it certainly isn't 'Blueberry', but I appreciate that you are already showering me with terms of endearment, normally I have my mouth around a guy's cock before they start with the cutesy nicknames." He chuckled softly and ran his fingers through his long blonde hair. "My name is Kyssimri. Might I ask yours?" He stood back up leaning against that wall still, closing his golden eyes for a moment as he began braiding his hair out of habit.

"What can I say? I'm a fuckin' charmer," Ari said with a shrug. Yep. This guy was trying way too hard.
"Name's Ari, anyway, but ya can call me Captain. Now, I got like, important captain shit to attend to but as ya can imagine, it's in my best interest--and yours--that you're healthy. Ya got any special needs I should know about?"
The kid wasn't human, after all, or at least he assumed not, not with the blue skin and everything. It wouldn't do to feed him the wrong thing and have him keeling over--or puking all over the place. Ari, for one, absolutely refused to clean up anymore gross and hazardous bodily fluids, at least not in the near future. He'd dealt with enough as of late to last him a while.

"...well I'm hungry... and I need to eat about every hour... and other than that don't worry about it. Just feed me and I'm a pretty easy pet to keep." He looked back at Ari and figured it out. This man liked a challenge. Kyssimri was being so easy and flirtatious, no wonder it wasn't working. Well... it was a knee-jerk reaction to flirt... to seduce... it was his defensive tactic. He kept on braiding his hair and looked at the captain again, wondering if an when he'd be fed.

That gave Ari pause. He blinked, eyebrows raising. "Hypoglycemic?"

"My people metabolize things at a much faster rate than normal humans..." Kyssimri replied very matter of fact. He finally finished braiding his hair and flipped it over his shoulder. He was getting sleepy, but his tummy was rumbling a bit too... well if the captain wouldn't give him food right away he could always take a nap to take the edge off... of course he'd wake up starving.

"Huh. Well, good to know. All the more reason to dump ya off before ya eat us outta ship and space, eh?" Stretching, Ari pushed off from the door, took a step back, and pulled the cell door shut.
"Now, don'tcha go nowhere. I'll be back," he said, then turned to leave.
He returned several minutes later with a bottle of water and a plated sandwich, and slid both through the opening at the bottom. "Chow time. Knock yourself out."

When the captain left he had laid down, not realizing the other would be back so soon. The blue skinned boy had shed his tight shorts and curled up in a ball on the floor entirely naked. His long blond braid laid over his shoulder and was practically hugged to his chest as he napped. His long eyelashes kissed his cheeks but the rest of his face looked pained and scared.

It was a bit of a delayed reaction, Ari would admit; he didn't actually notice the kid's nudity at first, considering those shorts were like a second blue skin. But when he did--mainly because he saw the shorts laying discarded next to him--his eyebrows rose. Oookay. Not like he was one to judge; he spent most days shirtless and shuffled around the ship in boxers when he was lazy. Hell, he'd go around naked himself if people wouldn't bitch.
But down here? He kept it pretty chilly, for the cargo's sake.

Was he sleeping? And after bitching about hunger and shit too?
Shaking his head, Ari cupped his hands around his mouth. "I said, chow time!"

He had been dreaming of his first time meeting... him. Feeling those eyes on him... that sick grin... After all these years he was still having nightmares...
Fortunately Ari's shouting woke him from his short little nap. Kyssimri awoke with a start, sitting up and looking around with a wide eyes before remembering where he was and what had happened. It took him another moment to remember he was sitting there naked. He quickly grabbed his shorts and held them to his crotch as he sat there cross-legged on the ground. He could feel his cheeks flush a pinkish lilac. He felt so vulnerable right now... partially from his dream and disorientation and partially from the fact that this pirate wouldn't fuck him. Kyssimri felt like he had no power.
It took the Dimuroite another minute to realize that Ari had brought him food. "...Thank you for the food..." He said softly but he didn't move to actually get it. He didn't want Ari to see him naked now. Kyssimri wasn't used to feeling so vulnerable naked, usually he was more comfortable that way. That was why he took his shorts off in the first place. He shivered lightly, suddenly feeling really cold.

And as if things weren't already odd, now the kid decided to play demure and modest? Ari's eyes flicked from the kid's blushing face down to his lap, covered now by the shorts, and then back, and he shook his head. He wasn't about to try and puzzle this one out. The guy propositions him, basically begs him to tie him to his bed and screw him senseless, strips down naked, and then acts...bashful about it all?
Yeah, he was feeling pretty lost right about now.
"Don't mention it," he said, then tilted his head and crossed his arms over his chest. Alright. No. He really wasn't able to just leave it. He was ready to write it off as just some weird non-human quirk or something, but this was bizarre even by his standards.
"What're ya playin' at, anyhow?" Let the guy shiver. He'd fetch him a blanket later.

When it became apparent that Ari wasn't going to just leave Kyssimri stood up and flipped his long braid over his shoulder before turning around and putting his shorts back on. Even he found it odd that he was more shy about his cock being seen than his cute round bubble butt. Once his tight shorts were back on he bent down to grab the sandwich and promptly nommed on it like a little fluffy creature.
"Playing at?" Kyss asked blushing a bit more. He sort of figured what the captain meant but... still. "I'm not playing at anything."

Ari stared at Kyss a moment, at his horrified blush, before bursting into laughter when the epic misunderstanding clicked.

Kyssimri could barely remember a time he had blushed this much. He pouted and took another bite of his sandwich before answering again. "Well I don't have a game, you shot me down remember?" This jerk took all his power and was now asking things like that? Was he trying to mock and humiliate him on top of everything? He could barely wait till they got to the Cancer.
"...you don't have to make fun of me you know..." Kyss said looking down at the floor some.

That was bothering him and he couldn't quite place why. No, scratch that--he could, he just didn't want to.

"Yes... I do, its the only way I can..." Damn why did he have to explain himself? "It's the only way I can have power and control of the situation. It's not like it isn't going to happen anyway most of the time." Kyssimri took a few more bites of the sandwich, finishing it up and then taking a sip of the water. "I'm 24 and I look like I'm 16... I've been on my own since I was 16, and back then I looked about 11 tops. So yes, I've learned its better to flirt and give in than fight it."
It was obvious from the look on the blue boy's face and the pain in his golden eyes that the captain was really getting to him. Besides, he couldn't get those memories out of his head now.

"In case you haven't noticed, I'm young and androgynous looking enough for perverts of all tastes. Besides, how do you know I'm a guy?" Kyss asked pouting again. Well the lack of tits certainly implied it but still. "I've only got enough Yadol to fill my little finger! I'm like all Kasim!"

Ari feigned shock, letting out a sharp gasp and clapping a hand to his face. "Well, golly gee gosh, ya got me there! I've just got no clue! See, I was thinkin' it might be the penis that tipped me off."
As for the other shit the kid was spouting? It was all gibberish to him.

"Shassshanm..." Kyssimri cursed, blushing again and looking at the ground. "You saw it huh?" He didn't want this guy to see him naked anymore. Even though he was pretty good looking, and he liked his multicolored hair... NO! This asshole wasn't going get anything now! They were going to the Cancer and Gen would rescue him and that was all.
"Just leave me alone... you want to sell me and you don't even know what for... you're just another stupid pirate."

That made Ari burst into laughter. He couldn't help it. This entire situation was so utterly ridiculous that he couldn't even keep up with what was going on anymore.
"Ya got some sorta mental deficiency, Blueberry? You're the one that hit on me, wanted to be tied to my bed, stripped down to nothin', and curled up here naked. Now you're freakin' out that I saw your pee-pee? I dunno what you're tryin' to pull but it's a little late to be playin' the prudish little princess angle."

"So you want to be seen naked by someone who rejected and imprisoned you?" Kyss looked away from him. "I sleep naked, alright? Just stop it ok... You aren't into me, I don't want anything to do with you now so just leave me alone."

Ari shrugged. "I don't really care who see me naked, to be honest. It's just skin," he said, and then changed the subject because that was heading toward a weird place.
Brushing hair out of his eyes, he snorted and turned to leave. "Your wish is my command, Blueberry."

"My name isn't Blueberry... it's Kyssimri." He said. "You really sell people like they're nothing?" Kyss looked at the man's back as he started to leave. He knew what kind of monsters people were, he'd seen it first hand... but it still seemed odd that people could do such terrible shit to each other. Heh, maybe it was just his Dimuroite nature that made him feel that way.
There wasn't a 'good' person alive. Everyone was shit at their core... everyone fucked others over.

Ari laughed and glanced over his shoulder at Kyss. "Nothin'? Nope. I sell 'em like they're something. If they weren't worth anything, there'd be no point sellin' them, eh?"

Kyssimri sat against the wall and hugged his legs to his chest. "...You're nothing..." He muttered under his breath as he glared at the pirates back.

Ykan had been looking for Ari for about the last 20 minutes now and obviously had missed him at some point cause someone had been in the kitchen during that time. Well finally he had caught the captain leaving the holding cell area. "What were you doing in there Ari?" Ykan asked a bit confused but then shook his head. "Oh I wanted to ask if you want chicken for dinner or if you want to just have everyone fend for themselves cause honestly chicken is about all I have enough of to cook for everyone at this point." The teal haired male peeked around the captain to see there was actually someone in the holding cell.
Someone youthful and pretty looking it seemed. "Ariiii..." Ykan grinned. "Who is that?~"

Aw, dammit. Ari knew that grin. And he knew what Kyss looked like. Blueberry was a looker, for all intents and purposes, and he just knew this wouldn't end well.
He moved with Ykan, side-stepping in an attempt to block his view. "No one," he said, and grabbed Ykan's shoulders so he could turn him around. "And ya oughta treat him as such. He's only gonna be here as long as Cancer so don't go gettin' attached and no we can't keep him."

Ykan was easily turned around but he didn't stop grinning. And he wasn't giving up that easily. If Ari got to play with prisoners, than Ykan could too. "So its a 'he' huh? And was he blue? Is he a Dimuroite? Where'd you find one of those? That's rare to see them alone... they are practically herd animals. And is he cute? He looked cute." Ykan planted his feet firmly on the ground and refused to be moved. Uh-uh. No way was Ari keeping this one from him.
Kyssimri heard the person that Ari was talking to before he saw him. Teal hair, magenta eyes and a bright grin. Then the asshole blocked his view of the new comer and turned them around. Keep him. Was there a shot that this person could be seduced and persuaded? Ari already seemed intent on keeping them apart, so that was a good sign. Either way once they reached the Cancer he could get away from the heartless prick pirate. And it was probably a microscopic prick since Ari didn't even want to use it. "I'm not no one..." Kyssimri pouted cutely.

With a frustrated noise, Ari released Ykan but still stood his ground, arms crossed over his chest and lips pursed. "Whatever he is, he's a stowaway. And worth somethin'. Like I said, don't go gettin' attached. He ain't gonna be here long so don't even try."

Kyss was frustrated that he couldn't hear their conversation now, but he could still see Ari's back some. He made sure he was covered properly and moved to stand as close as possible, but still couldn't make out what they were saying now. Damnit.
Ykan turned to face Ari and chuckled a bit. "You mean that this gift willingly snuck on board the ship and you just want to sell him? Ari... do you know what they use Dimuroites for?"
Ykan was familiar with Dimuroites culturally from way back when they lived on Earth and wasn't 100% sure of how their views had evolved... but if this one was anything like the Dimuroites of old he'd be easy to play for sure. He had found their religion both stupid and beautiful back in the day... and thought it was a shame they went they got played the way they did... but they were an easy people to manipulate.
"Ari... Dimuroites are walking blood and tissue donors. Seriously. They are genetically perfected human beings incapable of getting sick. Half of Thanatos INCs shit has some sort of Dimuroite blood or plasma in it. Sure you could make a pretty sum off of selling a kid like that... but if you need a blood transfusion or a kidney you'd have it on stock with him around. Hell, you could probably even have Bjarte make you a youth serum from that kid's blood. The lot of them are like universal human donors."

Ari stared at Ykan for a good minute. "...Ya suggestin' we keep him around so we can harvest his organs?"

"...more so for blood and sex." Ykan said after a minute. He realized how bad what he said sounded. "I mean you wanted to sell him to have his organs harvested... the only difference is that by keeping him it could save your life and not some asshole in Edanith of Aedolis. Listen... I don't think anyone is going to need an organ... it is more likely that someone gets.... I don't know... let's say stabbed... and needs blood while we are far from a space port. What's more expensive? Buying blood on the black market that could carry diseases just to stock the med bay or having a donor on board that can give blood to any human on board and replenishes blood faster than any of you other humans can?"
He thought that this kid would be a good insurance policy for Ari and the others. "I'm not implying you take vital organs from the kid really... just I mean think about it, ok?" Yeah Ykan wanted to sleep with the cutie but it wasn't just that. With someone like that on board Ykan would be able to worry about Ari a little bit less.

There were a lot of shitty things he did in this line of work. But the idea of keeping someone around, someone utterly helpless who couldn't even fight back, so they could live off them like a vampire was just...weird. The entire concept was weird. Sure, maybe someone else would do worse, but at least then it was out of their hands and he didn't have to think about it.
He ran a hand through his hair. "It's just another mouth to feed, but...look, I'll talk to Bjarte. He's the one who gets to make the final call 'cause he's the one that'd have to deal with this shit."

Kyssimri was really wishing he could hear what they were saying... he knew it was about him but he didn't know what was happening! It was frustrating beyond belief, especially seeing Ari look back at him.
Ykan kept his mouth shut about the extra mouth to feed bit because that would be a decent expense with the blue kid maybe they could find a way to make some extra money... hell maybe they could sell some of the kid's blood to boot... though it might get suspicious if they did that on a regular basis, still he could figure something out, and get Bjarte to convince Ari that the Dimuroite was worth keeping. That might be harder.
"Hey Ari... can I play with the pretty blue boy in the mean time?" He asked happily rocking back and forth on his heels, grinning happily.

Ari cast a look between Blueberry and Ykan, then shrugged and turned toward the exit. "Do what ya want with him. I'm gonna see Bjarte."

Ykan looked at the blue kid, looked at Ari walking away, looked at the blue kid and looked at Ari walking away... "Ari wait for me!" He said bouncing after the captain. "I wanna visit Bjarte too!" He said smiling and walking along side Ari.
Ok so it was half to make sure the medic agreed to keeping the Dimuroite on board and half to bother the alien, and half to see Ari flirt with the midget. Yes that was three halves, yes he just called Bjarte a midget alien medic in his head.
Kyssimri sighed. He was hoping that other guy would come over so he could try and seduce him into doing what he wanted, but at least he could relax again now that the asshole was gone.

Ari snorted and kept on walking. "Yeah? Ya know he's gonna be pissy, 'don't bother me unless you're bleedin'' and all," he said, then grinned, hooked a finger in the belt loop of Ykan's pants, and tugged him closer. "Maybe I should give ya a little mark for him to patch up."

Ykan trembled deliciously when Ari pulled him closer by the belt loop. "Mhmmm~ Maybe you should give me some lower back problems too... sore hips... we wouldn't want Bjarte to just dismiss us~" He ran his finger tips down Ari's chest. Damn if the captain wasn't sexy~
"Whatever you think is best Captain~"

Ari chuckled and caught Ykan's wrist. "Maybe later; that's a little labor intensive for now, eh? Let's see what kinda mood he's in first." Before Ari got too distracted, as often happened. And come to think of it, he wanted all his wits about him in case Bjarte got...prickly.
Literally. Ugh.
It didn't take long to reach the med bay, and Ari paused outside the door and rapped his knuckles on it. "Hey! Shorty! Open up! You've got visitors!" Ari said, voice sing-song.

“Shut the fuck up you giant odiferous mushroom.” Was the curt reply from within, before the door hissed open to reveal the tiny medic. As usual, he was curled up on his chair under one of the heating lamps, currently concocting…something liquid and vaguely red in a set of vials. For once his sleeves were actually rolled up rather than half covering his hands (nothing fit his tiny frame, what can you do), revealing spindly gray arms.
One large deer-shaped ear flicked hard in a way that was indicative of his annoyance, but otherwise his face was completely devoid of expression as he turned about to face them with a tiny metal stir stick with a bulbous end still in his delicate fingers.
“I see you didn’t fuck him into oblivion, and neither of you appear to be bleeding or crippled, so what do you want? You may need what I’m working on the next time you do something stupid, so it’s in your best interest to spit it out.”
Hmm, so really, he wasn’t in such a foul mood today! For the perpetually perturbed little alien, this was a ‘good day’. And yes, his unusual ears had been privy to their hallway conversations, puke-inducing as it had been.

Ykan had to chuckle at Bjarte's new nickname for Ari... heh giant odiferous mushroom! He moved into the med bay, his own bunny ears popping upward as he smiled at the alien. Awww comments about his an Ari's sex life~ maybe Bjarte just wanted to join in the fun? Normally Ykan would have teased him about that but he didn't cause he wanted to keep the other in this seemingly good mood.
"Well Bjarte we decided to come see you instead of me getting fucked into oblivion~ Instead we wanted to talk to you about this new acquisition Ari found on board."

"Awww, sweetheart, I'm honored! So many syllables and all for me!" Ari said with a grin, pressing a hand to his heart and fluttering his lashes at Bjarte. He stepped into the room and paused before Bjarte's chair, one hand on his hip.
"Anyhow, I'm gonna cut straight to the chase. Basically: what Ykan said. To make a long story short, we got a stowaway, and apparently his blood and tissues can be...harvested." He shot a look at Ykan, eyebrow arched. It still sounded utterly bizarre to him and vaguely unsettling, mainly because he preferred not to dirty his own hands if possible. Shooting someone in the face? Cool. Selling someone off? Fine. Cutting out someone's liver? Uh...
"Apparently, he can cure a lot of shit, soooo. Just wanted to see if, y'know, ya had any interest in harvestin' livin' tissue."

It was a small blessing that Ykan left his obnoxiously big mouth shut. Well, ok not completely shut, damn. At least what he said was basically cutting right to the point, and he appreciated it.
Not that you could tell.
Ari, on the other hand, was just as retarded as usual.
It was incredibly tempting to just flick his leg and kick Ari right in his overused ball sack, but just the idea of how jarring that would be up his slender leg snuffed out the malicious idea.
Rainbow head was lucky today.
He listened, unblinking and unflinching, to the rest of the explanation. Well that was…not what he was expecting. Then again, what exactly did one ‘expect’ with someone as illogical as Ari?
…never mind, he didn’t want to think about it.
“So are you asking me to dissect some thing you found in the cargo bay? Didn’t know you were dipping into the depraved.”
With a sigh, he shrugged his bony little shoulders.
“If it has healing properties, it’s at least worth a look. No promises on the dissection. I am not, however, going down into that godsforsaken icepit.”
As if to reinforce that statement, he curled up a bit further into his chair, basking in the warm glow of one of his heating lamps.

Ykan stifled a laugh at the little 'syllables' comment and then listened to Ari explain it to Bjarte. This was what he was afraid of, why he came along. Ok so maybe Ykan had explained it poorly to Ari in the first place but he really hadn't meant harvesting organs and tissues when he suggested this.
"Bjarte, I'm not sure if you are familiar with this particular people but you are very knowledgeable so you probably are- Ari found a young Dimuroite in the cargo bay. I suggested instead of selling the kid we might want to keep him around for blood and tissue donations, not dissecting. Ari is being dramatic is all." He shot a pouty look at the captain for twisting his words before turning back to the little medic.
"...ok, so forced donations, but not taking out anything vital."

Ari repressed a shudder. Forced donations, yeah. Donating blood and tissue. All those needles...
Ugh. So maybe that was at the heart of why selling the kid sat better with him than keeping him.
"Forced donations, harvestin', whatever. Whatever it is, I don't care. We'll bring the kid to ya, I guess, then you do just do your thing. All I ask is he's kept alive and whole. Keep it as noninvasive as ya can," Ari told Bjarte, and glanced at Ykan.
"For the record, we still ain't keepin' him long-term. It's still another mouth to feed and it's weird keepin' someone around who ain't productive except to bleed now and then. So don't get attached. Soon as Bjarte's milked what he can out of him, we're sellin' him. Clear?"

Bjarte blinked slowly, not showing much of anything on his face. In his voracious search for some kind of cure, yes, he’d stumbled upon information on the Dimuroites. Not that he’d ever actually seen one - it wasn’t as though they were particularly common, and he had no desire to pursue the few avenues there were in acquiring one.
Hm, maybe he had actually gotten lucky for once.

….Better to be cautious.
He snorted at Ari’s protests about keeping him.
“Oh, yes, and I’m sure by ‘productive’ you mean ‘fuck buddy’. Spare me. I’ll be the one to determine how useful he is or isn’t.”
He was sincerely hoping for ‘very useful’ at this point. But he’d be loath to let Ari realize it - that man did not need any leverage against him, that was for sure.

Ykan was about to pout at Ari's firm 'we aren't keeping him for long blah blah blah don't get attached' shit when Bjarte was the voice of reason. "See Ari? It's Bjarte's decision cause he's a doctor." Ykan couldn't help but grin a bit which was not particularly the best thing to be doing but oh well.
"Let's stop wasting Bjarte's time and go get the kid~!"

"Well...yeah. What else is crew good for, eh?" Ari said with a crooked grin and a wink, nudging Ykan in the side. "Gotta have a multipurpose crew, y'know!"
He did, however, have to concede to Bjarte's point. He was the doc here, after all. Ari didn't know how the fuck this shit worked.
He waved away Ykan's words. "Yeah, yeah, I got that. Alright, then. Bjarte, he's all yours. But if ya determine him not useful, lemme know. Like I said, last thing ya need on a floatin' metal capsule suspended in fuckin' oblivion is dead weight. Money though, we can use that."
He paused. "Hey, reckon if he's super useful we can sell his..." He groped for the right word. 'Blood' sounded weird, like they were a bunch of fucking vampires or some sort of weird blood bank, but hell with it. "Blood? Produce? Merchandise? Ah, anyway, that's a hurdle we'll jump later I guess, c'mon, Ykan. And don't look so damned happy."
Grabbing the man's arm, he tugged him after him as he started for the cargo bay.

He had to admit, Ari’s description of a spaceship was dead on. That’s pretty much exactly how he felt about it. Only probably with a fuck ton more loathing for it thrown in.
Snorting, Bjarte flicked an ear mildly in response.
“Yes. Let’s become an organ black market unto ourselves. I’m certain that won’t bring any unwanted attention our way.”
Curling up, he was all too glad it was the two of them trucking it down into that frigid cargo bay. Just thinking about it made him shiver, despite the heating lamps. Hm, speaking of heating lamps, it was probably about time to get some more backup bulbs…guess he’d have to ask Ari when their next trip to a station would be, great.

Ok so the nudge and wink about the crew being fuck buddies was kind of hot and Ykan wanted to point out that by that definition of 'useful' that, well, he'd find the blue kid 'useful'. Better to not though... Damn this keeping his mouth shut was starting to get hard! He let Ari grab him and haul him off, he barely had time to grin and wave to Bjarte too! "Be right back Bjarte~!" He managed to call back to the little medic all curled up under those lamps.
Once he turned in the actual direction they were headed it was easier to walk, though he didn't pull out of Ari's grip either. "Heh, I like it when you're rough~" He teased, trying to make his rabbit ears disappear again despite his giddiness. He really lacked self control when it came to his ears popping up lately.

Ari rewarded that remark by grabbing Ykan by the ears and sharply twisting until he was facing him. "I know," he said with a grin, then leaned in, kissed him hard on the mouth, and released him just like that, turning on his heel and heading for the brig like it was nothing.
"Keep up, now!"
It wasn't long before he reached the brig. Throwing the door open and stepping inside, he strode for the cell Kyssimri was kept in and brandished the key. "Chop chop, kiddo. It's time to move."
