Ari had significant strength over him, significant enough that Nathan felt like his struggle was no real struggle at all. He couldn't budge Ari. Being so easily overpowered electrified him. He grunted as Ari got him onto his stomach and pressed a knee into his back. He got a face full of pillow, and couldn't see anything for a few seconds while he strove to get his head back up. Ari had captured his hands again, and then cold metal closed over his other wrist.

He jerked at the cuffs—really tested them, their sturdiness, the chances of forcing his wrists out of them. They were good and tight. These weren't a piece of cheap novelty cuffs, and the headboard was solid metal. There'd be no breaking it.

Nathan twisted head about as best he could with Ari pinning him down. "Guess I'm not. You even know what to do with me, Maxwell?"

"I can think of several things," Ari said with a smile, tightening his grip in Nathan's hair and giving his head one last shove into the pillow when he caught the guy looking back at him. He moved off of Nathan and to the edge of the bed, found the guy's pants, and slipped the belt out of its loops. He snapped it once to get Nathan's attention as he headed back over to him.

"Got a safeword, darlin'?" Ari grabbed Nathan's throat and gave it a hard squeeze, wrenching his head back. "How about don't ask stupid questions?"

Instead he grabbed his hair again, shoved him face down into the pillow, and held him down like that. If he struggled, he'd only pull his hair. Let him panic for lack of air for a few moments. Maybe he'd think twice about being a sassy little bitch next time.

Moving to Nathan's side and keeping his weight on Nathan's head, he raised the belt and smacked his ass again, and this time there would be a mark. Nathan wrenched backward, the cuffs cutting into his wrists. His air was suddenly cut off, and he fought the hold on his throat and got nowhere. A few frantic moments later, Ari thrust his head down into the pillow. He manged one great gasp of breath before he began to smother again.

The belt descended in unpredictable, hard strikes as he struggled against Ari's hold on him. The pillow muffled his cries, and he jerked with every sharp slap. That loud crack of leather meeting skin had him hissing in more than just pain.

Finally, just as he was beginning to strain against the lack of oxygen, Ari jerked his head to the side and he could breathe again. He panted and stammered.
